Pad Kee Mao (Drunken Noodle) Crab Meat Fried Rice (Khao Pad Puu)
    Xavier M.

Used to come here about 4 years ago when i lived around the corner. I finally returned the other day. It was just as good as i remember! Crab fried rice was AMAZING!!! pad kee mao was always my go-to, and i loved it as always. They also have a great thai tea. Nothing but good things to say about this place!!

Pad see ew with pork, medium spice level, dinner portion

Every time I'm craving pad see ew, I go to Mint Thai! Their pad see ew is deliciously sweet and savory. I usually get mine with pork, which is always nice and tender. The dinner portions are very generous. I almost always have leftovers to take home! The service is pretty quick, and I've never had to wait to be seated. I have heard it gets really busy during weekday lunch hours, so keep that in mind! The staff is kind and friendly, and the restaurant is clean with plenty of tables and seating. Definitely check out Mint Thai when you get the chance!

Food was pretty good however atmosphere was very quiet and only two tables were dinning in, everyone else picked food up to go.

This is the boy's preferred thai place. He's been getting the spicy fried rice. He used to like the crispy pork with veggies. It's usually not busy when we go. I think they can accommodate 90 guests. They do have a large table for 8 that is reserved for the American Express crowd. I think they toned down the spice level because a level 4 spicy dish isn't very spicy.

    Worm

We came here because my son and husband ate here last weekend and thought it was great and wanted to go back. I ordered the shrimp fried rice and found a meal worm in my food. I showed it to the server and he told me it wasn't. I asked him what he thought it was and he said it was part of the shrimp and then went back to the counter and proceeded to ignore me. He had someone else drop off the check and didn't even bother to ask if I wanted to speak with a manager. I also paid for my worm infested food! I would not recommend eating here. To top it all off, it smells like sewage.

This is my go to lunch spot whenever I'm working from home. I typically order for pick up through UberEats and they are very quick to prepare the orders. The few times I've sat down and eaten their the ladies are very nice and they have tons of space to sit. I usually stick to the same dishes but the Shrimp Pad Kee Mao and Crispy House Chicken have never steered me wrong. I would definitely recommend trying it if you haven't already.

I strongly dislike doing bad reviews but Mint has pissed me off for the last time. Mint Thai Kitchen - 249 location does not provide enough protein in their dishes. I've had to call them on multiple occasions because the meat portion is just not worth paying for. So, tonight I ordered Mint through door dash (normally, I don't but I couldn't leave in time to pick up). Of course the chicken portion was LITTLE TO NONE so I called to speak with someone. I was told the manager was gone for the night & no one in charge is available. Now, i'm stuck with a half ass order & they have all my money. I won't go back ever again after tonight.

New thai place discovered for me! Really loved the ambiance and the soft music. The staff were so pleasant. They have a really extensive menu with clearly indicated gluten free options. Their spicy fried rice is really good. My friend had the Garlic Pepper Tofu which was also yummy. I look forward to trying more items on their menu.

Don't expect a boujee high level thai restuarant if that's your expectations. This spot is low key with plenty of seating and quick service for a nice casual quick lunch or bite with others. Simple procedures: order up front at the counter, pay, sit, they bring your food, you eat it, and then you leave. There's a variety of thai dishes here. Since I'm usually here with people from our office, they always go with the pad thai or the pad see ewe, both are popular noodle dishes. The fried rice is another favorite as well. I've been meaning to try other dishes such as the yellow or green curry, tom yum soup, or the kanah muu krob pork dish. But I always go wtih the pad see ewe, pad kee mao, or pad kra pao. Something about those noodles/rice with veggies and meat and egg that keep me coming back. This is a staple amongst our office when we're in the mood for thai due to location, price, and convenience. I need to try other dishes here and venture my taste buds out.

From the moment I walked in the staff, and the ambience made me feel welcome, the Tom Yum Goong soup was truly the best I've had in years and by itself would be worth going back for the green curry was fragrant and spicy the Tom Ka Gai soup was creamy and flavorful, although a bit too sweet for my taste but all in all it was a great experience and I will definitely be back

Thai Green Tea (a must get)
    Megan S.

Everything here is so good but the Pad Thai is out of this world, consistently good and don't sleep on the green Thai tea not a lot of spots offer it and it's well done here, perfect amount of sweetness. As someone who is Thai can say this spot is definitely authentic.

The atmosphere at Mint Thai Kitchen is top-notch. There are hardly any customers here, and the ambient atmosphere pairs well with the lofi Pokemon playlist they have on the speakers. This is a great place to just chill out after a busy day. I also like that each dish marked with an asterisk can have their spiciness levels changed on a 5-point scale from 1 (wimpy babies) to 5 (based gigachads). I had the level 4 Gang Mang (red curry) with pork. Oddly, the rice was served on the side on a separate plate. In mixing the curry and rice (as I always , I risked spilling over the curry due to the uneven shape of the bowl. Would prefer to be asked if I could have the rice already mixed in before sending the dish out to me].

We had to order take out on a Friday night because it was 10 mins before closing (9pm on Fridays) and they processed the order incredibly fast. All tables were full when we picked up so I'm sure busy nights will be a bit of a wait to get in. We asked for "medium" spice but the receipt had been defaulted to "mild" thank god. It was still a decent amount of spice and any more I would have probably been sweating like crazy. So I would recommend starting off with mild and go from there unless you are a glutton for punishing spice. Their mild seems to be more like medium / hot at an Americanized Thai joint. Pad Kee Mow with chopped chicken was delicious. Fresh crunchy green beans and bell peppers, onions and tomatoes perfectly cooked with the perfect spicy basil sauce. Noodles all had sauce on them. Large serving size and great price. We also got papaya salad which was just right and nice spice. I wish I could come here often and try everything else on the menu.

There's a sign-in sheet. While we waited, we took a look at their two-aisle mini store, which is in the same room as the restaurant. We bought some interesting snacks and looked at the menus until we were messaged. Once we sat down, we shared fried tofu and chive cakes. They were amazing. The fried tofu was evenly crispy with a soft, piping-hot fluffy inside. (The sauce doesn't contain any fish sauce, since one of us was vegetarian.) The chive cakes were both crispy and mochi-like. I had the Thai iced tea and pompano fish. The staff scared us about the spice level, so we all started off with mild and a small variety of chili sauce, oil, and powder on the side. The ones who changed their minds to mild actually used them. So now we know that if you like medium spicy, go with the second-lowest level. I was fine with mild and ate my whole fish. Loved it. Our waitress was quick, but the kitchen... not so much. We all ended up eating at different times because we didn't want anyone's dishes to get too cold while waiting for the rest to come to the table. By the time my dish came, the first two main dishes were already finished (rice and noodle-based), and the third dish (curry) had already been at the table for a while. I also noticed another table that sat after us got all of their dishes (noodles and rice) before my dish came. The food timing needs some work. If you want a quick meal, I think their rice and noodles are the fastest. But the pompano fish was amazing. If you know how to debone a fish or eat one with bones, get this dish. There's free parking out front and in the grassy lot next to it.

We visited for lunch on a Tuesday and had no wait to be seated. The service was friendly and attentive throughout our meal. The spring rolls and dumplings were both very good and made a great start to the meal. The Pad Thai had nice flavor and was enjoyable. My husband ordered his dish at a spice level 4 (their highest spice level), but felt it wasn't quite as spicy as expected, so keep that in mind if you like a lot of heat. The portions were very generous, and we definitely had leftovers. The kids' chicken fried rice was a huge portion and was surprisingly good. We also enjoyed the mango sticky rice for dessert--it was a great way to end the meal. The only disappointment was the Thai tea, which tasted a little weak compared to what we've had at other Thai restaurants. As for the entree, I ordered the Khao Soi with shrimp and my friend ordered the spicy red snapper. They have that street food vibe as a well representation of their name, Rim Tanon, which means roadside. With dedicated parking that fills up quick during peak times, it may be difficult to locate parking as it is shared with a few other restaurants and the spaces are quite tight. We tried their appetizers including Salmon Rolls (flavorfully packed with cream cheese, salmon, and spinach in a crispy shell and loving that actually spicy mayo on the side), Thai Style Jerky (deep fried and sun dried marinated pork and beef served with sticky rice rolls and side spicy tamarind sauce, a bit too dry/chewy), Fried Tofu (perfect little triangles, so good by itself or with the side sweet and sour sauce with crushed peanuts), Chive Pancake (deep fried and chive packed triangles with a slight chew to it, great by itself or with it's spicy soy sauce companion). As for the mains, the Spicy Seafood Fried Rice is a good value as it was loaded with all sort of fruits of the sea (shrimp, squid, and mussel), with prominent lemongrass and kaffir lime aroma, but a bit wet or moist for a fried rice dish, the Crabmeat Omelet is served with a nice portion of lump crabmeat where you can taste the flavor of the seafood and add sriracha to liking, and the Beef Pad See Ew is made appetizing with wok charred flat rice noodles along with a savory blend of soy sauce, Chinese broccoli and egg. The portion size is alright and filling for a moderately hungry individual, though it would've been even better a tad bigger for those coming in hangry. I'll be back for more when I'm craving some modern Thai food and especially want to try their curry dishes. Service was quick and efficient, attentive to refills on drinks and friendly!

It could easily reach that level. Our waitress, Ann, was incredibly kind, soft spoken, and welcoming. My friend Sherita suggested this restaurant after we left a Yelp office hour, and I'm so glad she did because it introduced me to something I never knew I needed: the salmon mango fried rice. It was absolutely amazing. I originally planned to take some home for my son to try, but it was so delicious that I finished every bite in one sitting. Sherita had visited earlier in the week and tonight shared that she arrived; right before I walked in which was 30 minutes before closing time, Jackie told her to hurry up and order, even though she already knew exactly what she wanted and didn't even need a menu. Jackie response was unprofessional and didn't even wait till the table guest got to the table, which was less than seconds since we all arrive at the same time, and left the same place. During our visit, Jackie never brought us water. A couple who was seated after us received water before we did. It took over 10 minutes for us to get water. Ann took great care of us, but anytime we wanted a refill, we had to ask. At one point my glass was completely empty. I noticed Jackie refilling the water glasses for a table of six, so I managed to get his attention. He looked directly at me, scanned the room, then stomped away all fast without acknowledging my request. Instead, he told Ann that we wanted water, and she graciously brought it over. Even at the end of our meal, Jackie stood behind the register while my friends waited to pay, yet another employee ended up taking their payment. His overall energy felt very cold and unwelcoming. My friend even joked that it was probably for the best that he didn't refill my water because of the energy he was carrying. As someone who believes water absorbs energy, I honestly agreed. I'm grateful Ann was the one who served us with such kindness. The restaurant itself has such a peaceful, zen atmosphere. The greenery outside and the warm lighting inside create a cozy neighborhood spot that I truly want to love and revisit with my son. Thank you , Sherita for introducing me and Aaliyah to this hidden gem. I completely understand why you visited twice in one week. I'll definitely be back to explore more of the menu, and hopefully next time the hospitality matches the quality of the food.
