I buy the rotisserie chicken here all the time. Unfortunately tonight when I got home and started pulling the chicken apart it was severely undercooked. I hate dry chicken so I'm a fan of it being properly cooked and moist., I know sometimes by the bone it's a little pink, but on this chicken the breast wasn't even fully cooked which is very scary. It was raw enough that it was difficult to pull apart. It was raw. I called the store and when someone answered and I told her she then asked me if I wanted to come get another one or if I wanted a refund. I told her that I wanted them to pull the rest the chicken off display cause it's not cooked, and she said "I'm about to leave but for sure, so do you want a refund or another one?" I don't think she was understanding. I called back out of concern and she said they had checked the other chickens and they were fine. I really don't understand how undercooked chicken can then be holding proper temp under a heat lamp. If the chicken wasn't cooked to temp in the kitchen, which it clearly wasn't, it makes no sense how only my chicken was undercooked. She asked if I wanted to talk to a manager and I said yes and then was put on hold. I had understood from the beginning that a manager was taking care of this. I work in the food industry. All the employees are friendly and polite. The store is always clean but the best part is the sushi chef. She makes the best rolls and nigiri. Most of the time I am just there to grab sushi because its good quality. I know it sounds crazy but it always tastes great. I hope they give her props, she deserves it. read more

Just the two of us, I made Thanksgiving dinner, so much work for two. We have ordered from Cracker Barrel and Helen's here in town...both horrible. This Xmas I tried Sprouts. When I opened the loot I was disapointed BUT it was very good. Gravy was delish and turkey breast was juicy. Still have enough turkey for at least 2 or 3 sandwiches. From the moment we walked in, Gina made us feel genuinely welcomed. She has such a friendly personality and took the time to talk with us, answer our questions, and help us find what we needed without ever making us feel rushed. Even with so many people in the store, she remained patient, kind, and attentive. It is very rare to come across someone who makes you feel comfortable and valued as a customer, especially during such a hectic time of the year, but Gina did exactly that. Her positive attitude and willingness to help turned a simple store visit into a really pleasant experience. Employees like Gina are the reason people remember a store and want to come back over and over again. I try not to buy greens here. The spinach and lettuce and other greens go bad VERY quickly. Sometimes I even find pieces beginning to go bad the minute I take it home and open it. Safeway has much fresher greens. I had this problem back in Illinois also. read more

I always have loved Sprouts! It doesn't matter what state I'm in, everyone is just like the other. I find that these stores are very clean. They seem to have the freshest fruits and vegetables. And Sprouts seem to have other items that are hard to find. I was so happy when they moved into Maricopa. For a small store they offer a lot and at good prices. read more

We finally got a sprouts in maricopa which is great. I've been to many and maybe that spoiled it for me because it looks like it was all about just making sure we have a (small) sprouts in Maricopa. Maybe something will change. The selection is nice but again it's a smaller version of what I've seen around the USA. Staff is very helpful. Parking is a little cramped with the loud restaurants nearby. Tomatoes are nice and juicy. That's mainly why I shop around here. read more

I stopped here on my way home, looking for a healthy array of snacks. Stepping into Sprouts is like transporting into a completely different world. If you've never been into a Sprouts, never set foot inside, you probably don't know much about it. Yes, you think of organic food, but it's also a lifestyle. The customers who come in are people who are looking to prepare wholesome balanced meals. The customer service is next level. I was barely in the produce section, looking at the drinks when an associate asked if he could help me find something. No no, just looking around, but thanks. But everywhere I went, every associate who passed asked how they could help. When is the last time you walked into a store where everyone asked how they could help? This is something you'd see in a 50s movie, right? Ruth was especially helpful, teaching me about the labels marked Plant Based or Gluten Free. Plant Based items are likely dairy free, which is super important for my diet, so finding those color coded tags made my trip easier. Ruth also assured me that you don't have to have store loyalty to get the sales prices. Everyone receives the same prices, and if a coupon is available in the app, you save it. Easy peasy! I finally made my way to the vitamin and household items and received the ultimate surprise when I discovered they carry sage bundles! Sage! For spiritual cleansings. Call me New Age or hipster, but this made me very happy. I live for this stuff, and it was a great touch at the end of my shopping trip. This store also sells reusable produce bags that are also washable, and I must officially be in yoga mom territory because it's the little things that now make my life exciting. I thoroughly enjoy this place. The food offerings are better than the other grocery store options. It brings the best of both the old small health food stores, the feel of its roots which was buying directly from farmers and bringing the produce back into the market areas that they serving at the time. My first impression was excellent when I visited two of their stores in Sierra Mesa and the one on Balboa down the hill from the Clairmont neighborhood of San Diego. I'm pretty sure that the store was in Pacific Beach but it was back in 1992. Anyway, I shopped the first location in Arizona just down the street from my mom's house for many years and was delighted when they opened up a store near Broadway Rd in Mesa, and then we became neighbors again when they opened the Queen Creek, AZ store. That is the location that I shopped exclusively during the Pandemic. I was very happy that when I left Queen Creek for Maricopa (City) that they already had one there waiting for me. I believe they are even going to open up a Casa Grande store soon. Saying that I am a Super Fan would not be an exaggeration! It's my go to store for everything. My family doesn't shop there anywhere near as often as they should. But my career path as a health professional brought me into contact with Boney's Market Place through one of my 3 best friends during my days at Chiropractic College. I do like Whole Foods, AJ's Fine Foods, Trader Joe's, and Wegmans (East Coast) when I'm in the neighborhood, but my favorite is Sprouts. read more

Last week went in to buy Goods cottage cheese. Once again out of stock. As I was paying for my purchases I suggested to the cashier that the buyer should order more than usual of the Goods cottage cheese cause you're always out of stock. Once again today went in and still nothing on the shelves. I tried the Sprouts brand and there is no comparison it's runny. I did ask the stock clerk if they had any in the back and he said no. Disgusted with rude and confrontational attitude of shopping cart parking lot employee. When dropping off my wife I pulled into reserved parking area for on-line shoppers to let her out of our car near the front of the store. As soon as she exited the car a store employee starting yelling at her to get back into our car in that she could not enter the store until our car was no longer in special parking. My wife tried to tell employee she was just being dropped off and her husband was parking the car elsewhere but he became even more irrational when she ignored his demands and proceeded into the store. When I tried to move my car the Sprouts employee continued to cuss and yell that I could not drive my car into a restricted parking area that was vacant even for the brief time it took to let my wife in her late seventies to get out of our car while I proceeded to park the car in an open non restricted parking space. While my wife was in the store the employee came back out on two separate occasions and continued to harass my presence in the parking lot. No need to be subjected to this ignorance ever again. read more

I have visited this store on several occasions. It's not as big as some of the other stores I've shopped at in the past, but it does carry what I usually need like: really good salads, vegetables, juices and frozen foods. These are my go to products, but the tamales, Turkey burgers and chicken sausages are the best and a must try! read more

Wish I could give zero stars. I had a horrible experience shopping at this location. The store was clean which was nice, but the staff was beyond rude. They need major customer service training. Unknowledgeable about the products they sell and extremely rude! It was like you were putting someone out when they had to do their job. Quite ridiculous. There was a female worker that was over the top territorial, and would follow me around the store, which I found to be very strange. She was very discriminatory against my toddler who has autism and was asking me very inappropriate questions. Very uncomfortable and quite frankly not right. This store is great in a lot of ways including friendly staff and it is maintained well. However, they fail big on one thing. Be warned, they charge for grocery bags. I am a big supporter of reusable shopping bags and usually bring my own. I'd even be in support of local laws that mandate a charge for plastic bags. What this store failed to do was inform the consumer prior to checkout. If you're going to charge for bags, there should be plenty of signage indicating that and there should be periodic notices over the intercom. That way no one is surprised when they get to the checkout stand and are told that they will have to pay for bags. I'm so fed up with surprise billing and the sneaky tactics of corporations who doop consumers into shelling out extra cash without adequate notice. This store needs to either not charge for bags or commit to adequate customer notification that there will be a charge for bags. read more

I love sprouts but the deli section is ridiculous. I've tried on 5 different times to get a made to order sandwich and every time I've waited 10+ min without the slip being picked up. First few times I thought maybe because they were new and busy but the last 2 times it was pretty dead in there and still waited 10 min and ended up just leaving or getting a pre made one. Love the store itself but def needs some attention with customer service on the deli side read more
