We got our usual list and walked feet out the door to get into our truck, i opened the carton of eggs and one of them was cracked, no big deal. I brought the eggs back inside (immediately) to ask for a different carton. I was greeted with the older woman (with glasses) at the front immediately upset and passive aggressive stating "well i hope you know i checked them and it was not cracked so be more careful"(in a clearly condescending tone), i respond with "im sorry? i just walked out and right back in and it was cracked?" she then says "yeah well no it wasn't so be more careful this time thanks", i then leave. I really hope whoever manages this market to ensure she does not speak to another customer they way she did to me today. We will no longer be visiting, there are plenty of farmers markets.

On 2nd Wednesdays are Farmer's Market Nights called "Agritopia Farm Night", which is a big event here, from 5-8 (Sept to May, no Jan). Parking is everywhere. In front of The Coffee Shop, behind The Coffee Shop, next to The Farm Store, Garage East, and near Joe's Farm Grill. On a Sunday in September, there was parking and we were walk-ins everywhere. If I'm making a trip here, I'd want to buy things that are primarily made here. They also have several dining options (not sure how they're all related). I was pleased with the food we ordered: huge artichoke calzone (soft dough and good filling) for $22 and fish and chips (excellent fries), as well as a bakery that sells cupcakes, scones, cakes, cookies, brownies as well as gelato. We liked the cookies and scone though the latter didn't have the usual consistency of a scone). We arrived, saw the no-dogs sign, and then saw that the market was set up on hot asphalt in the sun, so we turned around and left. That was especially frustrating after making the trip, since the old downtown location was so much more inviting and enjoyable. It is a shame they moved it from downtown Gilbert to a parking lot setting. The old location felt like a community event. This one just didn't.
