It's been about a year since my last visit to Sprouts Farmers Market, and I can confidently say this location is still one of the most well-organized Sprouts I've visited here in Arizona. The produce section? Fresh, vibrant, and honestly just looks delicious every time I walk through. A friend also put me on to the raw milk here--yes, it costs a pretty little penny, but I trust Sprouts when it comes to quality, so it's worth it for me. The staff continues to be friendly and welcoming, which always makes a difference. The store itself is bright, clean, and easy to navigate, making the whole shopping experience smooth and enjoyable. Gosh I'm terrible at checking in at places! Been shopping here since the store opened, alternating with other stores depending on what I'm out shopping for: I have always been happy with the offerings and quality of the fresh foods, and been treated well and politely by all staff. I'm a chatterbox with customers and staff, so enjoy talking about what we're buying or looking for. Of the few things I wish Sprouts had : fresh figs !!! I did see Sharon fruit/persimmons this year; they were a fave in my childhood growing up in Milano: messy and delicious, and only available in winter, just like the roasted chestnuts at the corner near the Duomo. The aisles are always well stocked with staff there replenishing them, and it's easy to find what you need. Of course, I ended up asking someone where the nuts were and also of course the display was juuuust over there! Oh well... The deli area is where I forage the most, because I love cheeses and cold cuts; sadly, no more Prosciutto at the counter...it's only prepackaged and hanging along with the other options for cold cuts. Still good, but I do like a slab of prosciutto to cut into small bite-chunks and add them to pasta, rice, even salads and fruit (figs & parma are so. good. ) The store has ample parking with several disabled and pick-up slots, but I didn't see any of the smaller carts: must've all been trundling around inside. I do try to return carts to their stands: some days I'm lucky and another shopper takes it for their own. I love going to Sprouts even if it does cost a bit more for certain items, I trust the 'organic' label on fruits, vegetables, and meats. Go shop !! read more

I just love walking into sprouts , something about how fresh and clean it always is, makes me feel so happy that this location is so close to me!! I was finally able to try the fresh deli sandwiches sprouts has to offer!! I was so friendly I had expressed that this is my first time ever getting a sandwich made, she explained everything walking me through the whole process. The sandwiches are absolutely amazing. I got a chicken salad sandwich on sourdough bread with their amazingly fresh veggies and it was absolutely delicious. So fresh and honestly it was a very large sandwich for only $4.99! Right now you can't get anything healthy for that piece!! I also get their fresh sushi and that's never disappointing! Always tasty!! Nice store with helpful clerks and a good array of organic choices of fruits veggies and protein. They have a full deli, a small bakery dept. I'm from out of town and was able to find everything I needed to cook healthy breakfasts and family dinners while here on vacation. The prepped choices are nice to have to throw on the grill like skewers, marinated salmon, precut fruits, good assortment of cheese too. My sister left her cane at the store and we went back to get it the next day. They remembered her and knew it belonged to her. Nice personal touch. read more

Have at least two checkers working at a time and make sure the self checkout is ALWAYS manned!! I bought beer so knew I was going to need assistance; when I tried to go through the manned checkout it had a sign that read CLOSED!! I went to the self checkout and there was NOBODY there to verify my age. After waiting approximately FIVE minutes I started unbagging my groceries when someone finally showed up! The Deli at Sprouts store #5 is on top of things. The foods always look great, clean and fresh. The customer service is seriously better than all the other stores I've shopped in. I'm pleasantly surprised at how quickly some new faces have turned things around. Ilnor one time have I ever felt like someone helping me would be a chore. Instead they truly make it there pleasure and take real pride in their work. I feel like I'm visiting my grandma's kitchen where I feel no worry about freshness and cleanliness. Been going here for years. Recently done a lot of drive up orders in the past year. Every single staff member who has come out to place my order in my car has been pleasant and personable. The only drawback is not having a consistent supply of Mevgal imported Feta cheese, discontinuing the Hoplark Hoptea brand, their refrigerated Chlorophyll shots and not carrying Bolt Energy gummies. If you like a side of fruit flies with your produce, then this is the store to shop at. They do an awful job of checking the produce, or maybe they just put it all out anyway to fill the shelves, you are guaranteed to pick something up just to find it rotting. I've also come across several items that were expired. I continued to shop here because they were the closest "healthy" grocery store to me, but switching to the one on Higley and Baseline; so far I haven't noticed those same issues. read more

I ran in here, quickly on lunch break, just needing a few missing ingredients for my solo Thanksgiving. Absolutely EVERY other establishment has been sold out of Cornish game hens! This is the first time I have ever been to a Sprouts, to boot. I always heard they were more on the pricey end- a more upscale health oriented store. I guess I should have checked it out for myself, sooner! The variety here is FANTASTIC! I also have to note- the organization & cleanliness of this establishment is especially noticeable- it was SPOTLESS! Organized to a T & extremely easy on someone with high anxiety. The overall atmosphere was just peaceful, pleasant & one of the more relaxing shopping experiences I've had, even on a time constricted lunch break! They were unfortunately out of pimentos- the ONE other item I needed. That was a bummer, so I opted for the pimento stuffed olives... good thing I like olives- I'll literally pick the pimentos out for my recipe then eat the olives on their own, LOL! It works, in a pinch. I'm just overly excited they had the game hens in stock- so one other item isn't going to break my overall opinion or review. Because I also happened to notice a LOT of other items I love but generally don't find at most other major supermarkets. The total for my game hen, olives & some chopped peppers was a tad on the "expensive" side, in my opinion. Nearly $20 for 3 items was steep! So, I can't say I'll frequent here for regular items. But, I am hands-down impressed to the point of returning because of how pleasant, organized & well functioning this store is. Sprouts is still one of my favorite stores to shop at. The service is wonderful and the produce is great and they always have good deals. They also have a large selection of allergen friendly and vegan items which cater to many including myself. The reason I'm downgrading my rating is because of the meat especially as well as the fish department. Two days ago I bought a grass fed ground beef packet that looked great on the outside, only to find that it's darker on the inside when I opened it at home. Unfortunately this is not the first time this has happened. Just last week, I actually threw away a whole ground beef packet; I did not have time to return it. I bought it at night and left it in the fridge to cook it the next morning & it was already very dark and smelled awful. I have a baby and I work full time so I don't always have time to go return stuff; I barely have time to shop in the first place! So this is a waste of time and money and is very disappointing. This is about the 3rd time this has happened with beef. This also happened with a whole chicken we bought once and luckily my husband had the time to return it. No questions asked, they took it and gave us another one that was better. The fish department, although mostly good, had a mishap once. They had salmon sale so I bought a whole fillet and when I got home, it smelled so fishy, I was so worried we were gonna get sick if we cooked it. I hope someone will see this review because I am already switching to neighboring supermarkets for my meat and chicken! This location always seems to have the best made to order sandwiches. It is also the only Sprouts that dies not make you fill out a sheet and then wait for unknown minutes to collect your sandwich. The Boars Head selections offer the best value at $5.99. Try the sandwich with the italian mozzarella and turkey on Ciabatta. Excellent. read more

I love Sprouts for the selection of foods they have. Especially the paleo, gluten free, "more natural" options. I like how this location is laid out. It's very open, you can see where everything is and find it easily. It's true that Sprouts does not have the biggest selection, like most "chain" grocery stores, but I feel like when you come to Sprouts you are choosing to come to a smaller store with better product, which is why I don't find the prices to be too crazy. I personally would rather pay an extra amount to get better quality, grass fed, paleo or gluten free foods! That being said, there are a few downsides to this store, unfortunately. I do grocery shopping weekly for an entire family and often have to bring someone with me to help since the carts are small and we have many items we need for an entire week. We usually have to get two carts to comfortably fit all that we need. Not only are the carts smaller than other grocery carts, the aisles are tiny!! This location tends to get fairly busy during various times of the day (I think I've tried all times possible for grocery shopping to avoid the crowds and have yet to find the perfect time). That being said, trying to navigate your way around the store with people everywhere is a challenge. I feel flustered trying to check items off my list and browse the selection when other people seem to be breathing down my neck, reaching over me or rushing me to get out of their way in each section of the store. It would definitely be nice if the aisles allowed for more space for people to roam, browse and stay out of each other's way. . . Especially in these crazy times. . . The only other thing I wish I could change would be the availability of items. Sometimes they are fully stocked with everything you could need, other times I am let down by them not having an item I have needed for weeks that I have purchased there before. I do try to give grace with this, as I know it is a smaller store, and like I said, they carry select products. Not your normal Frys or Safeway. So I do know that some items I will need to go to those other stores for. Just wish that they would keep up with their stocking more frequently throughout the week. Love the products here! Do not get their sandwiches. The dude making them didn't care at all. I asked for a sandwich they sell that comes with pesto mayo...he looks down "out of it". Ok, then starts putting onions on it. Onions don't come on that sandwich, no thank you. Bread is stale as ever on all 4 sandwiches I ordered. The salami on my kids sandwich was gross. It's like everytime I go there, they give no f's. It's an overpriced store for most products and their deli is stale and gross. Nope. Not good business. Get it together Sprouts! read more

New location that is clean and spacious... my only complaint is the screwy left turn at the light when heading north on Recker Rd. Make sure you don't miss the Longbow light and then be careful about where you turn -- it looks like you're doing something wrong. If you miss it, you're getting on the freeway or making an awkward U-turn. The products are what I've come to expect from Sprouts, but they're a heck of s lot closer to home now. The people working there are friendly and helpful-- I was asked twice if I needed assistance and a third time at the register if I'd found everything I needed. I won't be here for general shopping needs, but the produce, "special" staples and meat selections are good. read more

I'll start off by saying that this Sprouts is up and down in service. Sometimes it's really good, sometimes it's not good at all. My last two visits here were really good so I'll get them four stars. Much like many of the other stores, they are supposed to give you five cents off when you bring your own bag but, they don't always remember that. The store is expensive for most items. Always a dollar more at seems than the everyday grocery store for items that they carry. However, the fruits and vegetables are always an amazingly good price. Plus, a lot of them are local which is major good! When you can get things on sale such as the seafood or meat this is always good. As well as they have one area that's ready to cook meals and many times they do buy one get 1/2 off one ,which is also a major plus. The store is well laid out and they have a little coffee food area so if you buy food there you can sit inside and have coffee and food. Which I guess is good if you were close by and want to go to lunch or do you walk down there for one of the neighborhoods. The shopping center is growing tremendously there's always something new in the center. The next closest grocery store is Fry's on McKellips so this makes a nice place to stop for some options when you get right off the 202 freeway. Lots of choices here, as well as an excellent fruit and vegetable section. read more

I came to this newly opened store to find a product that was sold out at the Sprouts near me. I'm glad I stopped in. This store is larger and well organized. The aisles are wide and everything is not crowded together. They have the same items and quality as other Sprouts Markets. They do have a nice salad bar in their deli section and a small section of tables to enjoy your salad and one of their homemade smoothies. I will be back when I need something my neighborhood Sprouts is out of. For those living in the area, you now have a really good Sprouts close by. read more

I've been going to this Sprouts regularly since it opened almost two years ago. I've been to at least 7 or 8 of their stores but like this one the best. The majority of the employees are very friendly and helpful (especially in the vitamin section). There is plenty of parking, it's near the 202 freeway and there are some good fast food spots in the same mall if you're hungry (MOD Pizza and In 'N Out burger). I'm leaving four stars in spite of the fact that I just got attitude from the young man at the deli counter at 7pm on 12/31. And it's not the first time either. He's tall and thin with dark hair in his early 20s. Please get him some customer service training! Otherwise, keep up the good work Sprouts! read more

It was my first time going to that location everything was amazing except the fruit... on the way back I smelled what seemed to be fruit going bad but didn't say anything to my husband but once we got back home he was washing the fruits and the blackberries we got had mold on them I went out of the room to get something and my husband told me that the grapes we got had a huge what seemed to be beetle in it needless to say we won't be get any fruit from this location ever again. read more

After today's botched shopping experience, I'm knocking my rating down to 1 star. I was overcharged on FOUR items! And, three were in the sale circular. They overcharged me by more than $15. 00. I have complained before to corporate but nothing was ever done other than a sad little email apology. Call me crazy but I think stores should honor sales prices and not force customers to be watchdogs at the registers. I've reported this store to the Department of Weights and Measures. There's no way I could give this Sprouts anything less than 5 stars. First, the employees are all very friendly - every time I've been in here I've been greeted, asked if I need help, given free samples, and overall had great interactions with the employees. The store in general is also kept in praiseworthy condition - from the aisles being organized to the produce being stocked well, the overall cleanliness is managed well also. A couple other things that I really like about this place are the $5 sushi Wednesdays (most of the sushi in the deli is on sale for $5) and the ratio of small to large shopping carts. This may seem like a weird thing to call out, but a lot of Sprouts (and grocery stores in general) only have full sized carts. This location has probably 75% small carts which are much easier to maneuver and help keep the aisles less traffic-jammed. I'm really happy they opened this location and I will continue to come back every week (well, really multiple times per week...)! read more

Great little store reminiscent of Whole Foods but probably without the selection and variety. Everything is fresh and beautifully displayed but it's not a place I would go to for a general grocery shopping. If I want some beautiful produce veggies fruits herbs then this is the place that I would go. They bakery is also excellent and the people there are friendly and the store as extremely clean. I've shopped at Sprouts for years - and I've traveled to get there when there wasn't one in the neighborhood. Having this new Sprouts for Northeast Mesa its a major treat. It's a beautiful, clean, and well-stocked store with great personnel who go out of their way to make the shopping experience perfect.......and it's five miles away instead of fifteen miles away. I have never been to Sprouts before. Very impressive. Everything was well stocked. The deli was amazing. All kinds of ready-to-go meals. Most things are more expensive than Walmart but much higher quality. The produce department looked good but the 2 things in produce I did get were old. I got some apples that were better suited for applesauce and I got some grape tomatoes that were all wrinkly like raisins. I will probably stick to Fry's for produce. I encountered several employees, not one said hi, can I help you or anything. They must not make much money because they did not seem very happy there or help me. read more
