Bottom line: They are skimming your credit card transactions for extra money. This place is three minutes from my house and I used to love to stop in for a post workout protein shake. I would also buy my supplements from them. About six months ago, I noticed the transaction fees weren't adding up to the time of 5-15%. The first time I noticed, I was handed the credit card terminal receipt with no detail. I asked for an itemized receipt and the associate told me that their system couldn't do that. With a line full of people, I didn't want to make a big deal about it but I knew it was BS. That's not how retail POS systems work. On another trip shortly after this, I brought my wife along for a shake and, since I don't carry cash, I asked the associate to add $5.00 tip to the credit card transaction and he did...and then some. I was charged $12.00 over the cost of two shakes and the TPT sales tax. When I noticed the charge, I said "something's wrong here" and asked why the charge was so high. One associate behind the counter said "tax" and the one who was helping me looked "caught" and said he messed up and tried to hand me cash back. I told him to keep it. I was done. Today, I needed preworkout and forgot to order it online. I went against my judgement and went back to this store. I justified it that I am just buying one product and there's no way they would try this again. Unfortunately, I was wrong. Take a look at the receipts. I was originally handed the terminal receipt for $45.00 and, doing the math in my head, I knew that 8ish% of 39.99 would be roughly $3.20 in tax. And $45.00 even is an odd charge and a nice round number. When I asked for an itemized receipt, I was given one. When I asked what the "non cash adjustment was for", the associate said "tax". I replied, "No, tax was already charged" pointing to the itemized receipt. After she looked at it, she blamed terminal fees. She encouraged me to bring cash next time. Ha! There won't be a next time. This is either an employee problem or a management problem. In any case, it's wrong, illegal, and outright theft. I've never had this problem at any other location. Someone needs to get a handle on this business. read more

The Owners Mikey and Amanda are very friendly, and are extremely knowledgable with answering any questions you might have regarding nutrition or supplementation. They have a ton of supplements here.. Anything from multi-vitamins, to creatine, to fish oils, to Pre-workouts, to proteins! So much to choose from, its awesome!! I was most interested in their shake menu.. I got one of their meal replacement shakes. It's really cool have it works! You select your base.. I chose almond milk.. Then you select your flavor.. I chose strawberry-banana. Then since I chose meal replacement shake to begin with additional ingredients are added, such as 50g of Protein, 49g of Carbs, and multi-vitamins. The shake was very tasty and filled me up! I think next time I will try the "Stack" Flavor, which is... Base, 60g Protein, 100+ Carbs, 5g Creatine, 5g Glutamine, Peanut Butter, Oatmeal, Carb Powder Make sure when you checkout, that you ask for a punch rewards card! What in the world are those people?! I'm all for supporting local business but the owners of this place are atrocious. The lady is very smiley on her bodybuilding photos on the wall but in person she makes us, paying customers, feel like we are bothering them! The moment I walked in I felt like an intruder! Those guys have no customer service or people skills whatsoever, so weird how people like that can dare to open a shop! Scary shit. Love the shakes but can be a bit pricey. Wanted to try a new protein powder and was recommended one by the employee. Tried it out and it tastes like cold hot chocolate. I called and asked if I could return or exchange because they allow that at GNC where I typically get my protein powders. The response was since it was opened they couldn't do anything. So now I'm stuck with a $40 container and have to go buy some more. Really wish they had better policies but I guess I will be buying my protein from GNC in the future read more

That was a horrible experience. I went in to buy an energy drink and the lady working there didn't greet me or anything . I Proceeded to buy the drink and she said the total was 3.50, the receipt I signed said 3.85 . So i said "no big deal but I thought you said it was 3.50?" She said "there's a fee under 6$ and the sign is right there in your face" I said you could've kindly shared that with me before. She said "get the f out of my store or I'm gonna call the cops" . This is the first time I was not allowed to get the full amount of the protein drink that was made. I have been a customer of ONS since their first store and go to locations throughout the valley. The young lady said I was not allowed to have the extra and said that is a policy of theirs and has always been their policy. I like to reward myself after my workouts and was thrilled when I saw this building across the street. Mikey is the main person that I normally see for my "rewards" and have met his wonderful wife too, and together are just fantastic! Both very friendly and know what it takes to be fit! This is by far the best shop I have ever been to. The owners are knowledgeable of each product they have on the shelve. If I go in and ask about a particular supplement the will find it for me (even if its not the brand I read about) THAT IS CUSTOMER SERVICE PEOPLE! Whenever I have a question about some particular exercise they explain the functions and proper from of the exercise. The owner even took the time out her day to talk to my soccer team about proper diet and exercise. They make the best shakes! If your looking for the best supplement store this is it. Right when i walked in the door both the owners looked at me then continued doing what they where doing, no smile, no hello just nothing. I asked about the cellucore powder thermogenic all they said was where out. There was no recommendation on what was similar or anything. I basically had to beg for information. Hi all! Don't waste your hard earned money going to the location on power in Mesa. You will be surely disappointed. Wife has been a loyal customer purchasing preworkout and shakes for years now, yet when we asked if she could exchange a preworkout (her normal was out at the time) with half a scoop used she thought was nasty we were told no that's not how it works here at one stop. Instead of making customers happy and continuing to spend money you have now lost much much more money than this exchange would have been worth.
