The pizza is soooo good! It was ready to be picked up when they said and the party size is huge. It's a fantastic place!

I was looking for the best Chicago-style pizza in the area. I've eaten at all the big names and a couple that only the locals know. This business came up in my search. I went to their social media page and was sold! This guy loves Chicago-style, thin crust pizza. He swears Chicago-style pizza is the best in the country. That very well may be true, but unfortunately, my experience this night, with this delivery was not it. On a positive note, the toppings were fresh, a bit chunky and fresh. As you can see, I was hungry, so I ate the toppings. The crust was weird. It wasn't really thin. It wasn't thin, and for some reason when I think of thin, I think a bit crispy. Not only was the crust not thin, it was weirdly moist. Moist in that there was a level of it that was verging on, not cooked long enough. I mean I have never, NEVER in my life had bad pizza. This is probably horribly insulting, but I could have nuked a better pizza dinner. The frozen Totino's Party Pizza crust is better than what I had. This was the first bad pizza I've ever had in my life. The wings were okay. I had a salad because they ran out of Arancini. My Diet Cokes were perfect. The older gentleman who delivered seemed nice. read more

Love this little neighborhood spot for take out pizza. They also do pretty great catering the next time you're looking to host a party. This joint is an institution in the NW side & park ridge neighborhoods. It's been a round a long time. The dining room is small, but you could also dine in. They have pizza by the slice for quick grab & go service too. I've only ever ordered their thin crust pizza because they're my favorite, but they also offer pan if you're looking for something thicker. Service is quick and friendly. We gave Sputino a try recently and it was just ok. The pizza was average, and the appetizers weren't enjoyable. If it had just been the appetizers (calamari and cheese sticks), which generally don't travel well, then maybe I'd give them another try. There are better pizza places close enough that it's not really worth it to me to stop here; I'd probably rather go to Barnaby's. read more

This is my husband's favorite neighborhood spot. The staff is friendly, the food is delicious and the game is always on. After a frustrating loss at the rink, we needed to eat our emotions and we chose wisely with Spunitos pizza. There wasn't a single item that was less than superb. The customer service was excellent, they had fantastic suggestions, took our order straight away and refilled our drinks quickly. The pizza and sauces blew my mind. Their "thin crust@ isn't like a STL thin crust thank goodness. It is cut the same in squares but has a chew to the crust unlike the cracker type of St Louis thin. We got a little of everything but what we were in search of was an Italian beef sandwich and they got it just right!! Very satisfying. Custom pizza- cheese and anchovies, a sub, and calamari as well. We order catering. Our son had a birthday party at Wildwood Nature Center and we had our food pre ordered through the catering menu. We got penne with red sauce and chicken fingers. Plus a big salad. Everything we enjoyed by kids and adults. Plenty of food and a great deal! I would do it all over again! read more

My boyfriend and I visited this place on our first trip to Chicago, it was the first place we ate at and oh my it was so delicious. I got the chicken parm, we also got the garlic breadsticks, and my boyfriend got one of the deep dish pizzas. We left happy and full for sure. The breadsticks were so unique in the way they were made, I personally haven't seen anything like it and the sauce it came with was so flavorful. My chicken parm was so so flavorful, fresh and my pasta was cooked perfectly. Not to mention the lovely server we had. He was kind, very helpful and had great conversation. It is kinda a small place so I wouldn't go with a big party unless you maybe call ahead, but it was clean and you can tell they care about their establishment and customers. Hmm ..So we tried Spuntino's Pizza because it was in close proximity to our hotel in addition to being listed as the first place on Yelp..the reviews were ok but I wanted to give it a shot. We decided to dig in for a deep dish cheese pizza...after all we're in Chicago right! I opted for a thin crust Pepperoni and it was "ok" kinda salty! My bestie opted for Deep Dish cheese and it was VERY wet, the prosciutto tasted sour and old, and it was not a good taste. The service was "ok"...I was very shocked how we were treated...we were actually called "tourists" and when we asked for a suggestion as we were advised they were the best...the owner said, "look at the menu...aren't you here for pizza?!" can you say rude and disrespectful?! The ambiance was horrible..it's a hole in the wall type of pizza place..there was more junk behind the curtain than I cared to see and how do you have a dine in restaurant without a restroom or the use of hand sanitizer?! Come on...we have to think smart here. I am always up for small family owned restaurants but please remember to treat your customers with respect and kindness. Although we received horrible service and the pizza wasn't great, we still left at 22% tip. read more

I totally avoid restaurants of any kind in the suburbs. There's something about them that says we want to be Chicago but we're really not and as someone who lived in the city limits of Chicago for a couple of decades, I say good luck to you. I found this place because I had to I had to be in the suburbs and this was close. It was not my first choice, however their Italian beef would rival most of the city based famous venues. There thick cut French fries were awesome. Their Italian beef was great and the service was exceptional. The operator or maybe the owner was exceptionally nice when I forgot to ask for a receipt and took the extra steps to print to my table. I requested a hot and dry Italian beef. I want spicy in the freezer came with were really fresh really hot and very very good. I need to rethink my bias. read more

This place has great deep dish pizza!! We were up at O'Hare and wanted to get a good local pizza and we hit the jackpot pot! The marinara sauce was superb and the Italian sausage was so flavorful! Really good deep dish pizza. Stands out against the competition for sure. We ordered a sausage deep dish, cheese breadsticks, and chocolate moose cake. Pizza was the star of the show but the bread sticks are different than I expected but really good. Kind of like deep fried dough with herbs and cheese. Chocolate moose cake was solid too, super smooth and rich with a nice dark chocolate flavor. Service was great, very friendly people there. A real home made feel across the board Would recommend. Came here because of the good reviews and I was hoping for some great pizza. Very friendly location, but while ordering, you pay $2.50-$3.50 extra for every additional item. If you want pepperoni, you pay $2.50-$3.50 based on the pizza size. This made my small pizza $23. A small pizza for that price, was not worth it. My wife got a thin crust, and it was just ok. Overall, we spent almost $60 on two pizzas (small), and one garlic bread. Ok pizza for an expensive price. Nice one time experience, but prob not a second time. read more

Spuntino Pizza is amazing! We are visiting from out of town and went in to try their pizza. It was near closing but they graciously said they will get a pizza in for us. Asked for suggestions and went with what they said. Great tasting thin crust. They asked if we wanted left overs and helped determine size. Had left overs for breakfast and it was still wonderful. We liked it so much we went back to try the deep dish. Again we asked for suggestions and they gave great advise with what to eat and the size. Their deep dish is amazing and very filling. Eating more than two pieces is a challenge, one is enough if you are not super hungry. We tried the ravioli appetizers and would highly recommend them. Not only is the food great but the staff is unbelievably good. They check on you and refill your drinks. They ask if you are enjoying the food and really listen. I have not found this kind of service in a long time. Spuntino is a must visit when you come to Chicago. You will love the food, service is the best I've seen.
