In my opinion, it's as good as, if not better than, Pantaleone's in Denver, Colorado. The quality of the pizza is outstanding. It easily surpasses every slice I tried at Pizza Fest Chicago 2025. Vince uses incredibly fresh ingredients, and it shows in every bite. The crust is exceptional, honestly on par with some of the best pizza spots in NYC. Service is top-notch. Vince himself is the owner, chef, cashier, and server, which adds a personal touch you don't find often. He's friendly, welcoming, and happy to offer recommendations based on what you like. It's no surprise he's been a multiple-year Pizza Wars winner. On top of that, the pricing is unbeatable for the size and quality, easily better value than places like Rosati's, Viccino's Pizza Company, and Giordano's. The ambiance feels like stepping into an old-school neighborhood pizza shop. It's nostalgic, warm, and refreshing, something that's becoming harder and harder to find. The only issue is how close the tables are, you can't pull your chair back without hitting someone, and getting to the bathroom requires asking others to move because of how tight the layout is.
