07/2026 Rating: 4.5 RESTAURANT: Can't miss this location as it was situated right at the corner of a busy intersection. The restaurant is large and have both indoor and outdoor seating. Decor pays homage to its hometown and old school pizzaria vibe. There's one side specifically for togo/online pick up. Restrooms are clean and there are plenty of parking. We noticed some people just sitting on their tables playing with their phones like they were done eating...and then it dawned on us that they were waiting for their 45 mins. pizza. SMH CUSTOMER SERVICE: We were greeted and seated immediatedly. Our server was very nice and she answered all of our questions...I just wished she asked what pizza we wanted first because the last thing she told us after we took our drink order and everything else is that the pizza will take 45 minutes to cook! Which in my mind sounds like a gimmick for us to buy more food while we wait but we were super hungry anyway so it was not an issue for us that day. Anyway, she saw couldn't decide what pizza to get so she suggested we can order half and half! Success! Then, when our pizza finally arrived, our pizza server (a sweet Filipina) insisted on serving our pizza to demonstrate the dramactic cheese pull..and which I appreciated that she indulged me on doing it again for an insta boomering...success! FOOD We ordered the a Chicago deep pizza ofcourse, 10 inch, half pepperoni and half the special. We added the sampler and calamari and house salad. The tomatoes on the bruschetta tasted so light and refreshing on top of the fresh mozarella and bread that even my son whom dislikes tomatoes devoured them. The fried mozarella on their marinari was bomb, same with the chicken nuggets. Now the calamari was completely unexpected. I thought it was just going to be a bunch of chewy rings...but instead it came with the tentacles and fried lemon (which are very bitter) and banana peppers. They were so good especially with a dollop of the marinara sauce. The house salad with the Giordano dressing was delicious. And they did not lie, that pizza arrived in about 45 minutes and by then we were feeling a bit stuffed. The pizza was as promised...it was thick, cheesey and stuffed with fat pieces of sausage and lots of pepperoni. I will probably hold off on the onions next time because there was a lot. Sad to say we had no room for dessert but we were very satisfied. Overall, this visit was an excellent in person experience. We've had a to-go order and a frozen one before but experiencing it in person and in Chicago made it extra special. Price point is pretty fair considering on the quality and amount of food you get. Perfect place to dine with groups of all sizes. May want to order ahead prior to getting to the restaurant, or take your time eating the appetizers to help pass time while you wait for your pizza. Famous Chicago-Style Pizza chain...for good reason. We enjoyed on our last evening in Chicago area. When in Rome, eat like the Romans! Like any Chicago Style Deep Dish, they take a long time to bake. Order ahead or just be patient when you order at table like we did. I typically takes about 40 minutes. We ordered the DEEP DISH PIZZA named "THE SPECIAL". It comes with sausage, mushrooms, green peppers and onions. It was very delicious. We ordered a 12" size pie for the three of us. It looked so huge that we didn't think we would be able to finish it...but we did. Can't let such good pizza go to waste. Highly recommend when in Chicago area. They are sprinkled all over. Giordano's is always our go-to pizza place! When we can enjoy it around the Windy City, it's extra special. This location is near O'Hare so it was filled with tourists. The staff appeared to cater to that by making conversation about visiting the area and offering cheesy family photos (See what I did there?). The service was impeccable and the food was fabulous as always. Keep up the great work! My suggestion would be to offer the photos at a location near the door instead of interrupting our meal several times. read more

Came in on a Monday for lunch and it wasn't too busy yet. Tons of open tables and a friendly welcome. Vast menu and a few options, ultimately ended up with the lunch special that came with a salad or (garlic or regular) fries, and a mini deep dish. What a good deal! We weren't too hungry but it was fresh and flavorful. Family friendly place and lots of open space. This one was right next to the airport so you see a ton of people hauling luggage. 5 stars for Giordano's in Rosemont. For those of you not from Chicago or its suburbs, this is a Chicago style deep dish pizza restaurant. I had a pretty good experience here, the service was fast and friendly, and the restaurant ambiance itself was good - clean and not too loud inside. The deep dish pizza at Giordano's is also pretty good - can't go wrong with a 12 inch deep dish to have some leftovers to bring home! It is expensive here, but tasty. If you're in the area and want deep dish pizza, I'd recommend a visit. They have thin crust pizza also and other dishes, but those are not what they're known for. read more

This time we got the pizza for carry out since we had 30 minutes to get our rental car back but 3 hours till our flight home. As always you get exactly what you are expecting. A light flaky crust. Nice chewy and slightly salty cheese with a nice pepperoni and fresh mushrooms. Add the slightly spicy and tangy tomato sauce and you get a well balanced pizza. Would I get this more than maybe once a month. No. One other thing. If you order anything smaller than a medium I think you get too much crust. read more

Not a bad introduction to deep dish pizza. Expect a long wait for any pizza. We came in for lunch and despite ordering personal pizzas, the entire experience neared 2 hours. The lunch special included a salad and personal pizza, both serving sizes were big enough for 2. There were also desserts offered that weren't on the menu. *Lunch Special: the personal pizza came with four slices and we chose sausage as our topping. The tomato sauce was sweet and there was a good amount of lean sausage distributed throughout. There was a generous layer of cheese which stretched long and wide. The crust was underwhelming however. There was a decent crunch but it was overly dry with little flavor. The Caesar salad was chilled and crisp. Nothing too extraordinary about the dressing or croutons but it was well balanced. *Cannoli: huge deconstructed cannoli. The creamy filling was on the grainier side with a raw sugar aftertaste. The fried dough was stale so it took multiple attempts for me to bite through. While the size and concept were good, the execution was not tasty. Very affordable lunch specials but the flavors could have been more developed. Doughs seem to be Giordano's weak spot, which is unfortunate for a pizza chain. read more

Since we were in the area, we had to try the deep dish pizza. We were thankful that we got seated right away (not like the 2 hour wait at Giordano's at Navy Pier). Our server was so friendly, helpful, and humorous. We loved him! He even knew how to take the best photos. The Caesar salad and Italian Beef Sandwich came out quickly. So good. The Chicago Classic pizza takes time to come out. (About an hour) So be prepared to wait because they make it fresh. No complaints though. There are lots of tables and a bar at this shop. Always wanted to try actual deep dish Chicago pizza in Chicago and this place came pretty highly recommended online so it was at the top of my list. It looked like any pizzeria seen in the background of a John Hughes film. We were seated rather rapidly as the waiter went through the whole spiel in a rapid fire Chicago accent. The garlic cheese sticks were really unique, I loved them but my dining companion hated them, so I guess they're kind of polarizing. But you could definitely taste all the different cheese flavors in there. My dining companion loved his lasagna, which was absolutely smothered in cheese and was a massive serving that took up the whole plate. My traditional Chicago style deep dish was pepperoni, peppers, and onions, and while it was very good and the stereotypical extra cheesy deep dish with a thick bready crust I've heard so much about (still pretty good as breakfast the next day for that matter) my only gripe was that the peppers and onions should have been par-cooked before being put under the cheese, since it kind of steamed the vegetables under the cheese and created a small puddle of water under the pizza. However, snce this is my first time eating deep dish, I'm not sure if this is just the way it's done. Overall definitely worth the trip and worth the wait. read more

We ordered a couple pizzas for a work event, so we decided to try their new tavern style pizza. We got a sausage, pepperoni, and veggie option. They were all great! I love how the crust is very crispy yet the toppings gave it a lot of flavor with the seasoning. I would definitely get it again. I'm really loyal to the Morton Grove location, right on Dempster, but this is a very nice location too. Having lived and worked in Rosemont, I do like this area for eating and shopping. As for Giordano's, it is definitely in the top 3, depending on your mood. The deep dish pizza cheese pulls are unmatched!! Check out my video. And I also love their thin crust pizzas (non- tavern style), not as crisp and has plenty of ingredients and cheese. Perfect for the next day, BTW. The tiramisu was very good as well, satisfying and those lady fingers were very well soaked. If you're flying out of Ohare - stop here before flying out. If you're driving through on I-294, stop here for a break from the long drive and taste a bit of Chicago. Come here before or after shopping at Rosemont Outlet Mall, you won't be disappointed. read more

I was craving pizza and walked here from my hotel. Easy walk from many of the O'Hare airport hotels. I sat in the bar and enjoyed a local IPA with my pizza. When in Chicago, you gotta get some Giordano's. It was also 3/14 so PIE Day. We made reservations for 10 people at 715. We are on a work trip so our party ended up being 16 not 10. We get to the restaurant and they can seat the original party of 10, but say that the other 6 will have to wait. After speaking to Jean the manager, she offered us the outside patio. I know what your thinking outside patio in March. It was really warm and they have the fireplace outside. It was absolutely perfect! Thankfully we made a reservation, it was packed. We got ceasar salad (it was good, but a little overdressed), but the pizzas were fabulous. We got a regular thin pep, and a stuffed special. Both were excellent. The stuffed pizza reminded me of the famous Zachary's pizza in Berkeley. I've had other stuffed pizza in Chicago, and I think I like this the best. Since I was in Chicago, I had to try Deep Dish, and while I know there are probably other specialty places, Giordano's is the hallmark so I had to try it. I got there pretty late, around 10pm was seated quickly, and ordered a personal deep dish with pesto chicken. Something I didn't know was that deep dish, any deep dish takes about 45 minutes to prepare so it is a bit of a wait to get it. Not a big deal though, I was in no rush. Anyways, when they brought it out piping hot and it's pretty close to the perfect serving size for one person. Everything was good and layered well. The tomato sauce and the cheese were solid and the serving of pesto chicken they gave was pretty generous. The thick crust was crispy, unlike thin sliced pizza but has its own charm to it. Overall, quite an enjoyable pie, that's unique and has its own thing going on for it. I don't think it's necessarily a better style of pizza but definitely worth trying if you're in Chicago! read more
