Okay, nothing special. Expensive drinks as is the norm for hotels in NF. Live bands that are pretty good. Efficient service. They open the doors onto the street when the weather permits it. View is onto the casino across the street. Nibbly options. Sports on TVs , if that's your bag. The bar is in the hotel lobby. I doubt that manu people come here who aren't guests of the hotel. read more

Great drinks and good music! My husband and I came here because it looked to be more our scene - 25+. We loved the loved music and enjoyed the drinks. We decided to buy the drinks with more booze to get our money worth! Haha! It was even great people watching the 20+ 19 year olds in short dresses with their boys or "boyfriends" all over them. Great music but horrible service. I have been here numerous times and recieve the same treatment. Last night was by far the worst. Sat at the bar for over half an hour waiting for one of four bartenders behind the bar to stop talking to each other and ask if I'd like a drink. I asked for their Thursday night pint special which was advertised online. They had no idea what I was talking about. When it came to pay, it took another half an hour to get her attention to get a pen. She never came back to check on receipt. I felt embarrassed and like I was a piece of trash. read more

Poor service. In Canada, Servers only deliver drinks or foods to expect good tip . I'm very generous for tipping but I don't feel like tipping at all in Canada. Never been so disappointed in an establishment. Visiting from Chicago and my husband and myself were looking for a nice cocktail lounge and heard nothing but great things about Spyce Lounge since we were staying down the street... We arrived at the bar, and were greeted by a younger girl name Katelyn. She was AMAZING. From the conversation to the drinks she made for us, we were thoroughly enjoying our night and the recommendations for where to go to spend the rest of our time in Niagara Falls. Unfortunately a situation, which should not have been handled in front of us unfolded. Katelyn was approached by a younger female manager, who blatantly disrespected her in-front of not only her co workers, but majority of the guests at that bar and I'm fairly positive it was regarding her uniform. Katelyn was dressed very respectfully, and showed us nothing but hard working service, which actually should have been the managers main concern. This situation clearly upset Katelyn and she ended up excusing herself. The thing that made us the most upset... is we didn't see her for the rest of the time we stayed at Spyce, and that's when we had decided to pay our bill and move to another bar which didn't make us feel so uncomfortable due to management. Katelyn, we sincerely hope your night got better and we would like to thank you for the exception service you gave us being put in the position you were tonight. We decided to give it a try because we are staying at the Hilton. We both ordered draft beers... $10 for the 14oz glass which is extremely expensive for a small glass of beer. We also ordered the nachos which were pricy but very generous and tasty. Live entertainment wasn't bad. Overall it was just ok. I give it only 2 stars because on top of all that, they charged an "improvement" tax. Not even sure that's legal let alone ethical. read more

Good atmosphere to relax after all day meetings, or getting your night started. The first time we came we received awesome service at the bar. The second visit, left a lot of be desired. It was Friday night, place was packed, and they had ONE bartender who was super slow. Took almost 20 min to get a drink. To save time we all just ordered 2 drinks each. I tried the nachos the first visit (dry and bland) and the quesadilla the second (also lacked flavor). The best feature of the bar is the amazing talent. Our server was nice and attentive. The drinks here leave something to be desired. The wine list is down right bad. Nothing but low budget stuff that you might expect in a dive bar. Given how nice this place looked and attached to a major hotel, we expected much better. The mixed cocktails were like something you would receive at an extremely large party. They tasted pre-mixed and without alcohol. I ordered their specialty Manhattan and seriously questioned if there was any alcohol in it. Switched to an Old Fashioned, but had to give it back because it tasted so bad. I will give the server a lot of credit for not charging me for it. Ended up switching to straight scotch and it became clear why the other drinks were so bad. The pour I got was the smallest I've ever seen. Needed to order a double just to get what is a single in most other places. We got their pizza. It came piping hot. Other than that, there was nothing special about it. Again something you would expect from your local dive bar, but not from this seemingly "nicer place". Spyce is suffering from a split personality. Atmosphere and service scream "high end". This is a BEAUTIFUL lounge located in the lobby of the Hilton on Fallsview. We were staying at this hotel for a night, and after walking around and finding nothing worthy of trying, we headed back to the lounge we passed by earlier. It was around 9pm on a Sunday. They had a live band onstage. They did a great job; a blues/jazz type of music mix. The bartenders were very attentive and friendly. The food and drinks were reasonable. I had a large margarita for $9. The atmosphere is was really wins this place a few extra stars. The bar is made of onyx, with light shining through. The chandeliers really add a nice touch and give off a sophisticated, modern vibe. I would come back here, even if I wasn't staying at the Hilton (there is access to the lounge, from right off of the street). read more

We were sort of stuck in Niagara Falls for an extra night because of an ice storm (Not that we were complaining). We didn't really have anything planned to do so after a morning at the arcade we ended up here, trying out a few different cocktails. Before we knew it we had spent all afternoon/evening/night there and were fairly intoxicated! Brett took good care of us in the afternoon and in the evening Jaimelee made sure we were well hydrated. The live music in the evening was a huge plus and is a must see! All in all, we had a wonderful experience and in the future might stay the Hilton again specifically for this lobby bar. read more

Great music twice a day, 6 days a week. The lounge itself is nice, with a massive screen at the front to view games. The drinks are quite pricey and the food menu isn't anything unique from other restaurants in the area. They serve salads, burgers, bruschetta etc, but again, it is pricey. Nice place with a wonderful stage for bands and live music. The service was wonderful and drinks came fast with a smile. When the bill came there was an extra charge on it so I asked what it was, server told me it is a secret tourist fee which is voluntarily applied to your bill you can ask to have it removed.
