Erin is amazing! I have had several treatments and have enjoyed each of them. The hydrofacials leave my skin feeling wonderful.

However, I have spent almost a year trying to get her billing statement to me corrected on her part, to no avail - only to see on my last statement that past due bills will be turned over to collections! I have had SEVERAL telephone conversations with her and then 2 or 3 months I get another bill. No one answers the phone when u call - only an answering machine, and no one will return the call. I have health insurance with United Healthcare (UHC) thru my employer (I am 70 and still working). I also have Medicare, secondary to UHC. UHC processed my claim with Dr. Hillman, leaving a balance due of $50 as my co-pay for a specialist. Dr. Hillman's office submitted the balance of the claim to Medicare. Medicare processed the claim and provided an EOB that denied any payment to Dr. Hillman, and reflecting that I could NOT be billed for the balance. I provided that EOB to Dr. Hillman and talked to her - and she continued to bill me. Next, I called Medicare and was told that I could not be billed for that amount, an if the doctor needed it explained to them, the doctor had the contact person to call with Medicare. "Balance Billing" was explained to me by Medicare,: "Balance billing is a practice in which doctors or other health care providers bill you for charges that exceed the amount that will be reimbursed by Medicare for a particular service. ... If your doctor is a participating provider with Original Medicare, balance billing is forbidden." I didn't hear anything from her for a couple months, and thought the matter was resolved. HOWEVER - I received another bill yesterday!!! I intend to file a complaint against her with Medicare and, rest assured I will not be returning to her office for any reason! This is LUDICROUS! WHAT DOES SHE NOT UNDERSTAND??!! Her office hasn't been the same since Nicole left a couple years ago!

I replied that I was sure I did not for dermatology. She argued and said she couldn't take me and then not get paid. I gave all my info when I made the appointment so she had plenty of time to verify. I'm in my car right now and it took me 5 minutes to verify that no prior auth is needed. I guess she does not need my business. So unapologetic. And uncaring. I don't trust her now to give me an good exam (I've already had two skin cancers removed) so now I have to find another dermatologist.

There is a great deal of intellectual value in feeling good about yourself. Especially when it is…read moreachieved through non-invasive ways. Thus, I decided to explore what cosmetic dermatology has to offer for me.     I consider myself a smart shopper -- I do my homework before committing to purchase. I don't have unlimited funds either.  I got a few recommendations from various sources and set up my consultations. I met aesthetic specialists with extensive and impressive portfolios and formed an idea of what I wanted to have done. In the process I got offered hard to beat deals and went for it. Only to learn that any cosmetic enhancement is not just a purchase of a product, it's an investment in your provider's clinical artistry, skill and expertise... I did not like large dermatology practices. It felt like in their attempts to carry every injectable product under the sun and offer every cosmetic procedure known to man, they somehow compromised their chance to stand out and stand for something they believe in.  I was not comfortable in a rushed, conveyer-belt type of an environment, neither was I satisfied with their standard text-book recommendations. A couple of my friends invited me to attend an event at Juno Dermatology in Palm Beach Gardens, where I met Brittany Zimmerman, a physician assistant specializing in medical and cosmetic dermatology. Brittany conducted a live cosmetic procedure demonstration at the event. Her performance was art, her approach - science. That evening changed the way I perceived cosmetic procedures, and everything I had learned about them up to date.    I was immediately drawn to the boutique style of the whole practice, the contemporary elegance of the office and its welcoming staff.  I scheduled a private consultation with Brittany for the following week.          Brittany listened carefully to learn what it was that brought me to them in the first place. And then we talked about the main components of beauty - shape, color, texture, and size--and their hierarchy. We singled out what concerned me the most and worked out a treatment plan to correct it. I was bothered by some facial volume loss and skin laxity that took away from the ethnic uniqueness I was always proud of. I also had concerns about the overall look of my skin, uneven texture and pigment. Brittany explained to me that shape is the most important "aspect of beauty" - it makes a dramatic difference in the projected age and attractiveness of the face. Aesthetic providers who simply opt to increase the size of lips or cheeks without taking into consideration creating a shape produce undesirable results. Changes of even a few millimeters in the face can be quite remarkable. We also talked about things seemingly unrelated to my cosmetic consultation - clothes, travel, music, books. Brittany gave me a chance to get to know her, and she learned about me and my style. She told me it helped her to understand what outcome I was looking for and why, and she came up with an individualized treatment plan to produce the results that not only fitted my face, but my personality as well.   I had filler treatments to restore and add the volume and re-contour the definition I was starting to lose. It revived my features, made me look and feel myself again.   I am also planning to start a series of microneedling with PRP treatments to work towards improving the texture of my skin and maintaining its youth.   I must conclude that Brittany proved to me that non-surgical cosmetic enhancements can pack a big punch without being obvious when done by a skillful, passionate and talented provider.

I've had good experiences with the doctors and practitioners in person and during appointments, but…read morethe office is very disorganized. Their disorganization has regularly put me through phone tag hell and left me stranded without my medication. Departments do not communicate between each other adequately and they have failed to refill my prescription after prescription refill appointments not once but twice in the last two years, resulting in painful weeks waiting for my medication. I've currently been calling and leaving messages every day this week begging for the refill I paid to have done two months ago with no response from any practitioner. I will be seeking a new doctor to monitor my autoimmune disease and administer my refills.

That being said, I had a CO2 laser resurfacing done in early/mid march. It was a lot to go through, I had to hibernate for over two weeks and my faces looked very scary. It was VERY swollen and deformed. I did know what I was getting into, and I still wanted to do it. Anyway it really worked well on my under eye and cheeks. However, I did not see much change in my under nose and chin area, which is what I was mainly concerned about. So I'm very disappointed. Since the co2 laser resurfacing, I've also had to do sculptra, form ( which are both fillers) and Botox. It still doesn't look how I would like. I need more filler to disguise the wrinkles. Any way after 4k for the resurfacing, and another 1,200 for sculptra and Botox which was after the co2 resurfacing, I'm still not seeing results. So, maybe my wrinkles were too deep. I don't know why but so far nothing is really working. Yes I see a small difference, but for $5,200, I expected better results. I suppose I need a facelift. Should have saved my money. Also I did ask dr. Schroeder if she could just do that area again with the 1/2 strength c02 laxer, but she told me it would be another $1,500. I was really hoping she would do it for free, but no! Like I said she's very sweet, great bedside manner, beautiful place. I'm just not happy with my results.

I talked myself into his injections being effective because he and his assistant immediately tell you it looks so much better but when you ask if it seems strange that there are bags there that weren't before, he says it takes a few weeks to see results. So which is it; you and your assistant see it better right away or we have to wait? When I went back because I wasn't happy I was charged more for additional product that was supposed to help the issue. I do not recommend. Go to Genesis Dermatology.

Not only that his assistance accused me of this as the second time happening to me, clearly mistaken me for another Pt. This so called caring Dr. Capeldi did not even want to see me and showed absolutely no compassion. If this is the man you want treating you and taking all your hard earned money go for it. I hope he does not make a mistake on anyone else and rob them of their smile, money, and self esteem. It's a shame because I went to him when he was in a smaller facility maybe he got greedy and to big for his britches. His reviews are so high because he begs Pt. When they are done with services to fill out a review.
