We are members here so we get a quarterly wine shipment and complementary tastings when we come in to the store. We love it! You do not have to be a member to enjoy, but it is definitely a great membership deal. Kelly and Gisele who work there are so friendly and helpful selecting the wines you like best. They have wonderful outdoor and indoor seating. Both areas are dog friendly! Whatever we are in Tiburon, we always stop by for a glass of wine and love to bring friends and family when they're visiting.

What a great find! We had to go to SF for something and decided to stop in at Squalo on the way home. It was such a cute spot with awesome wine choices and excellent service provided by Giselle. We opted for a bottle of the Crocker and Star Cab Frac. It was a lovely choice with our cheese board. Giselle was a peach and really knew the product they carried. We will go back!

Great music , yummy wine, snacks and vibe. Cool hang. What a great stumble upon!!! This is a wine and beer bar. They have a short snack list that is perfect for before dinner meet up!! Really. The cheese plate is terrific. The warmed potatoe chip snack plate is perfect for any beer or wine. I'm having the Black Kite Santa Lucia Highlands Pinot Noir 2017. 2017 was a good year, especially for Pinot. Hubby is having a Scrimshaw. He's happy. We will make this our hang out when we visit Tibetan. Enjoy friends!

Tiburon - so beautiful. Squalo Vino is a gem of a wine bar. So cozy and cute. Please definitely pay a visit if you find yourself in the area. I appreciated the quick and kind service. Though it was a bit cold we chose to sit outside and snuggle up next to the heater. I ordered a flight of red, white and rośe to taste. My boyfriend enjoyed a beer. Glad we came here. Will be back again.

... Squalo Vino is a gem in down town Tiburon. They have extensive wine menu. Great snacks provided to accompany wine selection perfectly. Bar tenders are knowledgeable about their wines, very attentive and super nice. Bar counter, behind the bar and out side sitting was clean and well kept. This place is dog friendly. This is a higher class wine bar.

What a cute wine bar! The service was amazing and as well as the music selection! We enjoyed a sparkling flight of 3 champagnes all from the champagne region in France. What's really nice about this spot is it's located in the heart of downtown tiburon, has great hours and perfect to stop by before dinner for a glass. They have a wide selection of wines for every person and for those who don't like wine they even offer some beer. They aren't affiliated with any winery so they carry different varietals from different wineries. You also get a 15% purchase on bottle purchase when doing a tasting. And they have some cool merchandise too like a champagne stopper which I haven't come across at very many wine bars....Beautiful spot to checkout and highly recommend the sparkling flight!

Had a wonderful experience stopping in today to find local real estate celebrity (& wine enthusiast) Jaen Carlo behind the bar! Highly recommend the cheese platter which features a selection of local Cowgirl Creamery cheeses. They also have a brilliantly curated wine selection.. I will have to come back with friends to try.. especially the russian river valley pinot! Location is perfect for stopping in while strolling around downtown Tiburon. Amazing!

Our waiter was attentive - when asked he gave his favorites - and they did not disappoint. He was "Spot On"! We started our food journey with the Crab Empanadas - followed with one of the best Sea Bass entrées we've ever had. (The fish melts in your mouth w/ a sweet Asian fusion taste). The Chocolate cake was the perfect way to end our night. A must try when you go to Tiburon! P.s. after our meal we took a stroll and enjoyed the bay views. You may want to plan that in :)

Pastas are always on point, seafood tastes super fresh, and the specials never miss. It's the kind of place where you order something new and still walk away impressed every time. It also has that "living room of Tiburon" vibe and comfortable, welcoming, and the kind of place you keep coming back to whether it's a casual dinner or something a little more special. We had the escargot, steak tartare, sole, clams, skirt steak, and hanger steak--purely for research purposes, of course--and every dish was excellent, each clearly doing its own thing. The steak tartare was confident and restrained, seasoned with intention and balance, letting the quality of the beef speak for itself. The sole was delicate, the clams briny and assured, and the steaks were distinct enough that you could actually taste why both cuts belong on the menu. Mike, our server, was the best part of a great night. A connoisseur without the snootiness, he offered nuanced, genuinely helpful descriptions of every option we asked about, all delivered with obvious enthusiasm. Attentive, personable, and truly good at what he does, he made us feel like today's special. Great food, great drinks, great people. We were seated outside where it was windy but there was a heater above the seat thank goodness. The prices on their posted menu have not been updated, and food prices have gone up since. Fries - came with three sauces, the dijonnaise was ok but the bearnaise was just ok. The portion was really tiny for $7, which was a little unexpected. The fries tasted like they had been fried again before serving. Not sure I'd order this off the happy hour menu again Mussels with Pernod garlic butter - this was good! We ordered two servings. The bread was alright, it's a little disappointing since SF has such good bread everywhere. The mussels were fresh and the delicious sauce was not too buttery. The drinks were ok - they can do any cocktail with their well alcohol for $8 which is a good deal. Service was all over the place. The server was very nice but everything was extremely slow. When we arrived they weren't busy at all so it was very puzzling why everything took so long. They also forgot an order of the french dip sliders we placed when we ordered another round of mussels. When they started to get busy for dinner, we gave up and just walked in to ask for our check. I think it was a pretty good deal overall, but with the ups and downs with service, I may not go back.

After reading some reviews here I knew it was a small place, so I was pleasantly surprised I could get a reservation during our trip to Sausalito. My husband and I had recently enjoyed some caviar for the first time but we are no experts, and I was a little worried that he might not get enough to eat. Turns out we both left perfectly satisfied. The place is tiny but so elegant. The bar is right in front of the kitchen that is sparkling clean and the chef prepares everything right there. There is a little high top table too and there was a couple there when we arrived, but afterward it was just us and we felt like royalty treated to our private dinner. We aren't caviar experts by any means but Yo did a great job explaining the different caviar flights including where it comes from - turns out the white sturgeon is farmed in the Sacramento Delta. We chose the Menage a Trois white sturgeon flight and it was so elegant. Three kinds of caviar plus all these homemade breads and crackers to enjoy it with. Every bite was amazing and I think we only left a couple of chives. Afterward we picked a couple of other dishes - the Chawanamushi and the Dungeness crab ravioli. Both were exquisite- in flavor and presentation. For dessert we had the sweet potato - Yo described it as a ganache - which I couldn't really picture but it was a very accurate description. It came with asian pear and was just the perfect finish to our meal. I had a couple glasses of French bubbly with my meal - normally I can't do more than one glass of champagne but it was crisp and yummy and paired well with everything we ate. When we were finished we got our check in a cute sturgeon pulp science fiction book. It was the final thoughtful detail to a wonderful evening. Chef Lance is a real artist and he really thinks through the ingredients and the flavors. Everything was so delicious and creative. I hope we get to come back again someday.
