What a gem, the caviar, personable service and side dishes that deserve to be Michelin star rated (so much better than Crenn). I will come everytime I am in town. Everything is homemade: blinis, potato chips, brioche bread and rice crackers, the photo shows crab with crab tortellini and seared duck.

I cannot believe we have been so close to such an incredible restaurant and have not gone until now. It is unbelievably wonderful, everything was perfection. When they first opened a year ago, I was confused that maybe they were just a caviar bar, so we didn't go. But they do a full dinner of small plates, and it is exquisite. It's similar to Madcap, which up until now was our favorite restaurant. Both the chef and the server/hostess used to work there, I believe she said, so it makes sense. I never knew I liked caviar until now! We got the royal white sturgeon, it comes with all these little accoutrements, and was so flavorful! It's so intimate, only seats 6 at the bar and a two top inside. I'm torn between wanting people to know about this place so it does well, but also love that this hidden gem has not been fully discovered.

Please patronize this establishment. We went in on a Saturday night at 5:00 and we were the only people in there. We had a great time. We had the Siberian Caviar. It was so good we tried the Queen's Reserve White Sturgeon, also good. The blinis were the best I've ever had and the non vintage Donain Rolet was an execellent Champagne by the glass. We are going to try the tasting menu next time. You must have a reservation for the tasting menu.

What a little gem: I was craving caviar and ended up finding this gem. They didn't have room for us to have the tasting menu that we need to absolutely go back to but we did try the traditional Caviar tasting which was AMAZING!!! service was really great as well and the place itself feels like a cute special bar, can't wait to go back!

Incredible place with friendly, knowledgeable and absolutely delightful staff and a superstar for a chef. I won't even rave about the caviar - it's clear it's the star of the show but the product can only get you so far and the ambience, experience and people make the equation and that's exactly what we enjoyed. I just wish we were closer and could frequent more often because we'd be regulars. Thank you guys for making our anniversary caviar bite stop into an entire memory and truly cannot wait to be back! Oh and before I wrap - fantastic, notable wine list as well, huge thumbs up to everything you're doing!

We came back IMMEDIATELY for the tasting menu! Exceptional service, food, and atmosphere. A very special place -- visit and have an amazing time. Thank you for hosting us and for being spectacularly talented, both of you.

Came on Sunday afternoon at 4:30pm for a quick appetizer before our main dinner. Beautiful restaurant in a beautiful town. Group of 4, we were immediately greeted and seated at the bar area. Ordered the Maine Scallop Crudo and the Domestic Caviar Flight. Everything was beautifully prepared and presented. Staff were very knowledgeable and we loved that they gave us the backstory on every item. I'll keep this short. Scallop crudo was good and topped with fermented sauce that we were familiar with in other cuisines. The flight consisted of three different caviar varieties which are accompanied by an egg mixture, crème fraiche, shallots, herbs, and the most amazing butter toasted brioche. Basically, come here and get your mind blown by a great experience and great food.

Thank you fellow Yelpers for recommending Bump! Had such a great experience here! Classy, intimate, cozy, and delicious. This eight seat Chefs' counter is quite the experience. Personable Chefs and associates puts you at ease, and ensure that you're enjoying every moment of your tasting. To start, I'd recommend starting w some bubbles (one or FEW bottles of champagne) of course. Try as much on the menu as possible! We did! Creative dishes with and of Caviar created by these amazingly talented Chefs. Cheers! We started off w complimentary Heirloom tomato gazpacho. Refreshing deep flavor! Followed by Caviar Flights: 1) Domestic 2) CCC Each 'Flight' consists of three different types of Caviar accompanied by egg, crème fraiche, shallots, fine herbs, and toasted brioche (buttery yummy goodness by the way ). Plates (we ordered all of it!): -Smoked egg custard w citrus yolk jam, maple, and bacon trout roe. -steak tartare w daikon, shiso, and Hackleback. -Mt Lassen trout crudo w brown butter vinaigrette and sake trout roe. -Mt Lassen trout w summer squash and salmon roe. -Semmifreddo (dessert) brown sugar, sake, royal white sturgeon. Every dish was delicious! However two plates that really stood out were the smoked egg custard, and trout crudo. So much so we ordered additional plates. The custard was a party in your mouth experience, w various flavors and textures, smoky/creamy/sweet/salty/savory/smooth/popping of the roe. The trout crudo so aromatic/fresh/sweet/salty/vinegary/popping of roe infused w sake. Oh my... and wow! Needless to say, I highly recommend Bump. Thank you Chefs and the entire team at Bump for a memorable experience! Keep up the amazing work!

What a fabulous way to end the year with the luxury of luxuries at a caviar bar. Deborah Keane and her staff have created a unique experience that you might say you'll only experience once, but you'll find yourself going back to especially if you love caviar. The intimate 12 seater bar fits in nicely on Bridgeway parallel to the Caledonia street shops and only takes reservations and a deposit online or via phone. The staff is led by Dani, who was the perfect hostess for the evening, and she was supported by Fernando and Nate who helped provide descriptions and instructions for our caviar and roe based meal. To say it is a theme meal is to put it lightly. The ambiance actually is accentuated by the people eating or celebrating around you. Whether it is a group moms talking their new G-Wagons they got for Christmas or a family introducing their 10 year old daughter to caviar, the place is great for Marin people watching. In fact their New Year's Eve $195 celebration sounds perfect. In fact I think the place would be ripe for a small holiday party, closing dinner, or restaurant takeover. If it is your first time I highly recommend the tasting Prix Fixe menu and then maybe come back for a la carte style. Our menu started with croquets which had our first and only meat of the evening. They were a good starter and we had no idea about what was yet to come! Then came the sturgeon we were waiting for. It did not disappoint. Then the fluke crudo followed by my surprise dish of the evening, the trout! This was followed by a crispy skinned sea bass and finally the lobster with lobster salad. As I was driving, I only had a glass of Champagne while my companion had a flight of champagne to go with her meal which she clearly enjoyed. I laugh because the meal never seemed to end as I finished with a Four Seasons pot of tea from Song Tea, my companion had another glass of champagne. Can't wait for my 2020 visit here.

I first heard about this place during my attendance at Quail A Motorsports Gathering. The Caviar here is by far the best I've had in America. And I will go on to explain why. And why I gave this place 5 stars as well. Moving on. I've posted a picture of the menu here so you can get an idea of what they offer. And what I'll be talking about. Firstly this place is by reservation ONLY. They do not open till 4pm. Upon walking in I was greeted immediately. I was then asked to verify my reservation. Once verified I was able to sit down. The first thing I noticed right away is that the place is smaller. But in a good way. This place would be far to crowded and loud which would diminish the experience here. The decor here is very upscale, clean and new. The atmosphere is very rich and elegant. Whats there to expect? this is a caviar bar lol. Although I ordered the domestic flight. I have tried ALL the caviar they do offer here. I will list some of my favorites. Trout bacon infused ROE ( not so much caviar. It's definitely a roe ) Is a fun and tasteful roe. Yes it's the most basic it gets. But the flavor is there and you cannot go wrong with it. Next my favorite is the hackleback. One nice thing to know is that this one is in house. They use a local farm. With just the right amount of aging into this one it goes a LONG way for smooth flavor. Another to try is the Siberian sturgeon. Just WOW. It is absolutely amazing. Just be aware if you don't like rich flavor this wouldn't be the one for you. They also have small plates with Wagyu beef and Lobster etc. I would highly recommend the Wagyu. It's cooked absolutely perfect. With all that said I will finish it off with this. The display of what you ordered is on POINT. 5 star display! This place will definitely satisfy your caviar crave. And leave you with a smile on your face and a soul filled with happiness. This is truly a great experience and I'm so happy they've opened up a front caviar bar. I will definitely be returning! Decor: New, updated and elegant. The silver wear and plating is amazing. Customer service: Absolutely amazing. Food: FAR above average. Bathrooms: Very clean. Perfect.

Took my girlfriend here for her birthday back in February, and we had a great time. We did a few la carte dishes, domestic caviar flight and traditional Champagne flight for her. Highlight: fresh hot mini pancake (blinis) that kept coming with the caviar. They were very generous with those! Waygu was tender, medium rare with their fanciest caviar and garlic alongside. The small crew working here was super friendly also.

Oh, what a night! I took my fiance to Bump Bar as an early start to our Christmas revelry and I'm so, so glad I did. Every dish was fantastic and the service from Nate, Fernando, and Dani was top notch. Get the tasting and the pairing and prepare for a truly remarkable evening.

There was something indescribable, though, that hinted that they rely on the picturesque views to make up for food that is "good" - but not "great." Let's start on a positive note. You can't beat the view. Our server was well informed about the menu, attentive, and friendly - but unwilling to help too much with the menu selections. "Everything is good" is a bit of a pet peeve of mine but I'm not holding this against the rating of this restaurant as that's pretty server-specific. We started with a half dozen local oysters on the half shell which were actually amazing. Perhaps the most mild tasting oysters I have ever had and served with a champagne mignonette, cocktail sauce, and fresh horseradish - all of which paired nicely. For my main course, I had the petrale sole - a very mild, delicate, Pacific flatfish. While flaky and tender, it did lack flavor and was served with some relatively uninspired accompaniments - a saffron rice and some roasted vegetables which was mostly green beans and celery. One of my friends ordered the paella which he said was "great." Overall very decent experience on par with so many other coastal restaurants that know they can fill the seats with the amazing views alone. I would definitely come back - but would likely order something different... except for the oysters - those were a must to order again!

The service was a little shaky, but overall we greatly enjoyed our evening! Food & Drink: We joined the waitlist when we arrived, and got some drinks while we waited in the bar. We really liked our cocktails, with the Margarita and Aperol Spritz being two highlights. Once seated, we ordered the Shishito Peppers, Pear Pizza, and Olive Pizza. The peppers were nicely cooked and salted, and they paired well with our drinks. The pear pizza was surprisingly delicious with gorgonzola, nuts, and some leaves. The olive pizza was also good with its' greek inspired toppings of feta cheese, olives, and red peppers. For dessert we tried the affogato and Bocce dessert, which were both good. Though my affogato had mostly melted on arrival. Service & Ambiance: The only issue we encountered was the service. Our evening got off to a slightly bumpy start because the waitlist notification was sent to my phone's spam folder, meaning I wasn't notified and we almost missed our opportunity to be seated. For this reason, it would be good if staff could check the bar before removing customers from the waitlist (I told them that we would be waiting in the bar, which is a short distance from the host desk). Another issue was that the pizzas took a long time to come out. Fortunately, management made it up to us by giving us a free salad and free meatballs. This was a classy gesture and definitely helped! (Hopefully this was just a one-off situation). Finally, I was surprised by the amount of kids at this establishment. Considering this is prominently marketed as a bar, there was quite a lot of unruly children running (and climbing) about, which did affect the ambiance somewhat. Management may want to consider whether allowing children is worth it, as they somewhat spoil the lovely waterside ambiance. Overall, we really enjoyed it and would come again!
