I was blown away by my first visit to Trattoria Servino. Found this location on yelp but was a bit wary since they only had 17 reviews. There's always a lot of fluff reviews when a restaurant first opens. However I decided to give this place a try. Made a reservation on their website which was super easy and got a text confirmation and reminder text. Came a bit early but was still seated and they had our reserved table for us. We devided to order: Fritto Mistro (Calamari): Amazingly fresh--tender without being chewy. The light, crunchy batter was spot-on, and the marinara sauce tasted like it came straight from fresh tomatoes, not a can. Bright, balanced, and not too acidic. Perfect portion size. House-Baked Focaccia: Absolute perfection. Airy but with a golden crust that reminded me of Detroit-style pizza. The sprinkle of salt was just right, but what really set it apart was the olive oil--clean, pure, and honestly the best I've ever tasted. Tagliatelle al Fungi: Generous mushrooms, beautifully earthy, and paired with those same incredible olive oil notes. The noodles tasted freshly made and had just the right bite. Flavorful without being greasy. Piccola Fiorentina (Porterhouse Steak): Large but sliced thin with a perfect sear. It leaned a little closer to medium-well than medium, but still delicious and tender. The sweet roasted onion it came with was such a surprise hit--I don't usually like onions, but this one won me over. Overall: Fantastic service, authentic Italian cooking, and a spotless space in a convenient location. I'll admit, I was cautious about the glowing Yelp reviews since there aren't too many yet--but they are 100% deserved. I wouldn't be surprised if within a year this becomes the go-to Italian spot in Marin. Easily the best Italian I've had in the bay area. Can't wait to come back! Easy 5 stars. Tips: Parking: Tons of free street parking nearby, so you can skip the paid lot. Ambience: Spotless, modern, and welcoming. The space feels new and thoughtfully designed. Service: Outstanding--attentive, warm, and knowledgeable without being overbearing.

We had a wonderful anniversary dinner here! The service was kind and wonderful, and very fast! We loved everything we had, the focaccia, pesto tortelloni, and the bolognese. We also had a wonderful signature cocktail. Everything was wonderfully priced and the restaurant had great ambiance. I would recommend to anyone in the area!

Disappointed owing to the glowing reviews. Food is not bad, but average compared to my daily meal. Way expensive for the taste and portion. Service is barely there. Long waits for the food and service. They should put some padding on the flat wood booth seats (so that the seats are not torturous). No bread included, but you can order $10 of rosemary focaccia.

Went to Tiburon and walked past by this little cute restaurant last month. Finally got a reservation today to try it and it did not disappoint. Couple of highlights: stuffed zucchini blossom was battered and fried to perfection. Light, crispy, fragrant, with melt-in-your-mouth smoked cheese filling, yum! We loved it so much we ordered another one. I wish our saffron arancini would be more crispy but otherwise flavor was spot on. Crab ravioli was full of umami and cooked to perfect al dente with reach and creamy sauce highlighted by salty pancetta. Solid 4.8 for me and would def return to try more of their dishes.

While a few of the dishes we had heard about were gone from the menu (Mina specialties) they had a solid listing of staples and I understand they're working on formally relaunching the restaurant with a bunch of new dishes. The vibe is great (5Star) - good seating with each table having something fun to look at, be it the bar or the ocean, and the music was groovy for lack of a better word. Food was 4 stars but the steak, tipped me back into 5 star category. We had the spicy tuna roll which appeased our sushi desire, the Caesar salad for some greens, and the Delmonico Ribeye with carrots. The steak was phenomenal and I paired it with a Vesper Martini which was mixed expertly. Looking forward to coming back and seeing what the new owners do on the relaunch.

We had a productive conversation about what service should be and can be. And once they get the team more settled, I'll come back and see how the experience changes. A solo diner I sat at a table by the door. It was fine. The view is beautiful. And I was excited to have a menu with more than a salad as the gluten free option. I ordered from the $50 2 course prix fix menu. After I was sat, the waiter missed my glass pouring the water and poured it on the table. He was adjusting a chair for my handbag which I appreciated, but failed to see or clean the puddle on my table where my plate was to go. After ordering coffee, the waitress brought it out in a cup cracked from rim to base. And set it down with no mind or notice. I had to tell her it was broken and requested a cup that wasn't broken. My parfait arrived, it looked beautiful. Hurriedly setting it down, turning his back to me and quickly assisting another table the waiter failed to notice I didn't have a spoon to eat my food with. Expecting steak as my next course I'm not eating a parfait with a fork and knife. Looking around I saw a cluster of three servers talking in a corner. My first server no where in sight. So I got up and walked inside to request a spoon so I could begin eating. The manager came out and spoke with me, and said he would address the service. Unfortunately the damage has been done. This is my first time visiting Tiburon, and I passed on recommendations to go to Sam's and Malibu Farm to come here. Deeply regretting that decision. As a solo diner I find we can be treated as after thoughts to a server. What they should consider is we have a voice, spending power, and in my case a love of dining out.

The location is awsome, right on the water in Tiburon, and the vibe is cozy without feeling cramped. Seating is a little tight, but honestly it kinda adds to the charm. There's one huge unisex bathroom tucked right behind the bar, which was surprisingly clean and easy to find. The back patio is probly the highlight. On a clear day you get amazing views of Angel Island and SF, hard to beat while having lunch or a drink. Food was solid. Kitchen does a decent job, although they seem to miss order details every now and then. I ordered a medium rare burger and it came out well done. Before I even had a chance to make a big deal about it, our server noticed and brought a replacement burger out pretty quick. That was super thoughtful and showed they actually care about the customer experiance. Not perfect, but good food, great views, and staff that are willing to make things right. I'd definitly come back.

When we entered the restaurant we were warmly greeted. We studies the menu you on the wall before ordering. You order at the counter and then they give you a number to put on your table. When your food is ready, hey deliver it to your table. Both my husband and I ordered the 1/2 rotisserie chicken plate. You have a choice of a salsa verde or romanesco sauce to go with your chicken or pay an extra $1 for both sauces. I chose the both sauces and my husband chose the salsa verde. We also ordered a cup of the cream of asparagus soup, a side of cabbage and kale slaw and a straus creamery chocolate milkshake. The inside is spacious and has a lot of communal seating as well as smaller tables. They have seating on the deck by the water as well. We picked a table and enjoyed our view of the ocean while we waited for our food. Our food arrived hot and fresh. Everything looked so good. The cream of asparagus soup was my favorite of the whole meal. It tasted so good. Next time I'll opt for the bowl instead of the cup. The rotisserie chicken was hot and juicy. I'm guessing they give you the sauce because the chicken doesn't have much seasoning on it. I tried both sauces and didn't care for either one. The salsa verde did not taste good at all. It definitely didn't taste like any salsa verde I've had before. The romanesco sauce had no flavor. It was thick and pasty but tasted like nothing. I should have just added salt to my chicken. I ate the chicken regardless and it was good. It just needed some seasoning on it. Each chicken plate came with salad on the side, which was very good and roasted potatoes. The potatoes were amazing. My husband liked the cabbage and kale slaw and loved his chocolate milkshake. Service was very good here. They bussed our table for us when we were finished. I'd definitely come back again but I would try one of their many sandwich offerings.
