Good breakfast sandwiches, good lunch sandwiches, some basic groceries, coffee / tea / hot chocolate drinks, pastries, and a variety of souvenirs and cards for tourists. The food to-go is all made to order, and that's a good thing. I had several breakfasts and a few lunches. For a small New Hampshire town, the sandwiches were surprisingly good. There are a few things I would improve upon, but I'll be going back, either to get sandwiches for a hike or paddle, or breakfast on the way to an outing. For drinks I got Natalie's orange juice, hot chocolate, while my sister tended towards coffee or latté, all of which were good. For breakfast while I tried the BLT breakfast panini (it was good), I kept going back for the Breakfast sandwich with egg & sausage on a bagel (surprisingly, link sausage), adding tomato. Delicious. For lunch fare, I wish I'd tried the Cubano, but my favorites were the roast beef with horse radish, and the roast beef with boursin - they did roast beef well. The turkey club was alright, but not quite what I expected (not a double-decker sandwich, not hunks of fresh-sliced turkey (more like turkey from a slicer or deli-pack). If I could improve anything, it would be to use whole leaf lettuce (rather than ribbons of cut lettuce) in the sandwiches. As for the cards, decals, and souvenirs, I managed to pick up a few, more for sentimental reasons than as a tourist (I've been going to the area for decades, don't really need all the knick-knacks - but a card or two to send to friends and family, sure).

We stopped in for sandwiches and left with SO much more! This place is the cutest and has it all- wine, cheese, crackers; baked goods and coffees; novelty tees and gifts. The staff was super friendly. I wish I got the name Of the girl who took our sandwich order and then checked us out- she had the best personality!! So kind and knowledgeable. When I couldn't decide my coffee flavor, she said "want me to surprise you?!" How personable?! Everything was delicious- we will be back!

This place has the best to go meals! We just had their gluten-free meatloaf with mashed potatoes last night and they were delicious! The best I've ever had!

Great sandwiches, baked goods, ice cream and just a neat general store! Fun stop for after a hike on Rattlesnake trail.

Gusto Caffe in Meredith is the closest I've come to being back there. From the moment you walk in, you're welcomed like family. The warmth isn't just service -- it's genuine. The baker is from Sicily, and you can taste that authenticity in every bite. Everything is fresh, simple, and absolutely heavenly. Raul makes the best cappuccino, and Elena greets you with the most beautiful smile. It's not just a café -- it's an experience that brings you straight back to Italy.

Excellent! so when we had an appointment in Laconia I was looking forward to the rich full bodied Americano decaf we always get. I added a bit of half n half and tasted. Found them to be luke warm, and also weak as dish water. I think the cool temp of the brewing water prevented the coffee beans from giving up their flavor. I brought back to the counter where the barista warmed them w the frother. btw, no apology. I thought I could drink it but it was awful. So I asked for a splash of regular coffee to be added thinking that might fix the weak flavor. She told me she'd have to charge me for a small coffee. Really? Didn't I already spend almost $5 on this bad coffee? So, that was it, I declined the additional cost and left it on the table. My husband brought his home where he promptly threw it away.

The waitress was attentive and friendly. We ordered an appetizer (buffalo chicken fingers) and soup (broccoli and cheese and chowder) and it was all delicious! When we arrived, there was a large bus with tourists that had just arrived so we opted to eat in the bar area versus eating outdoors. Our waitress (Trisha) was one of two bar tenders covering a bar that sat about 12 patrons plus about 6 other tables, She took our orders and then was tied up trying to assist others. We only saw her again when she asked if we desired dessert. My Pasta Fattoria had chicken, spinach, bacon , sun-dried tomatoes, garlic and was very enjoyable. My wife had the steak tips. I could not finish mine so I have lunch for another day. Overall, a nice meal and given the circumstances, Covered Bridge covered most needs.

We were seated right by the window with an absolutely breathtaking view of the lake. No matter what the food tasted like, this was going to be a great experience. We had been working all day, and after 12 days working the Laconia Bike Week, we were tired and just wanted someplace to relax. This was a great choice. We started with a Beet Salad for me and New England Clam Chowder for my dining partner. He seems to be on a roll to find the best clam chowder, as he's ordered it just about everywhere. He said this was good, and my salad was excellent as well. I got the Seafood Paella and he ordered the Crispy Duck. He said the duck was very good, and it came on the saffron rice that was served with my paella dish. The paella was jam packed with seafood. I'd say it's an Americanized version of paella, but was still very good. They do make saffron rice using real saffron as opposed to saffron powder. The shellfish was plentiful and had scallops, shrimp, mussels, and clams. There was edamame instead of peas, which is a bit unusual, but still good. All the seafood was cooked nicely. There was a little too much andouille sausage for my liking, which I removed. With all the food, there was no room for dessert. This was an outstanding way to end a very long week.
