Highly Recommend 1-800-Water Damage…read more After trying two other companies, I realized 1-800-Water Damage should have been my first call. I had tenants move out without informing me about a water leak in the guest bathroom, which led to water damage that could have been prevented. To make matters worse, despite my lease stating no smoking whatsoever, the property had a lingering smoke odor--and even an extracurricular smoke odor--that I couldn't eliminate no matter how many times I treated the house myself. The team at 1-800-Water Damage was professional, thorough, and efficient. They not only addressed the water damage but also tackled the odors that had been impossible to remove. Their advanced cleaning techniques worked wonders, leaving the house fresh, clean, and ready for new tenants. I appreciate their attention to detail and dedication to getting the job done right. If you're dealing with water damage or stubborn odors, don't waste time trying other solutions--just call 1-800-Water Damage first. They saved me a lot of stress and made the property feel like home again.

It's not easy to do that, so I respect him for it. Dan asked if I'd still be willing to consider an itemized quote from him for the work, and he sent a detailed one when I agreed. Then there was a long delay on my part, but when I finally accepted and signed the quote, he was on-site within a week and finished all the restoration work in 1 day.

This review is for the first one, a bedroom ceiling/roof leak that needed mold mitigation, asbestos testing and renovation. March 2025: Leak originally started as a moisture spot on the ceiling in October 2024 but my HOA ignored it. By March 2025, the ceiling had become so compromised that water streamed in like a waterfall during a massive storm. My original contact was Noah - he gave me an estimate (along with two other companies). I really appreciated how Noah was communicative, informative and thorough. And! he didn't badger me w/ phone calls & emails, like the other two companies did. He understood that I said I would take care of the situation when I could b/c I was in the middle of Massage Therapy school. I understood the "risks" of having mold & just shut the bedroom off. Fast forward to August 2025 & now we're ready to take care of the situation. Noah followed protocol of getting an asbestos test first. Luckily, it was negative. Then Spencer, their Mitigation Specialist? built a special containment room, inside the guest bedroom that sealed off the contaminated area. Heavy duty fans stayed on for about 72 hours? so the area could be thoroughly dried after being treated w/ some kind of mold treatment. Noah was available via text when I had questions - that was surprising & super helpful! Once Mitigation was completed, Noah connected me w/ Jacob at their Restoration Department. He sent over a stellar crew led by David & they proceeded to rebuild about a quarter of the bedroom - meant to mention that they had to rip out dry wall, scaffolding, etc. This crew rebuilt and then refinished the area, including re-installing wainscotting and painting the ceiling + walls. The results? This bedroom looks gorgeous! We were thrilled with how thorough/smooth ATH was w/ this process & how the renovation turned out. Highly recommend this company for their professionalism, flexibility and high standards. Thanks to the ATH Team!

What an industry! I was up north with my family for the weekend and came home to standing water…read morethroughout the first floor of my house. My first call was to a plumber for help. Before the plumber even arrived, three different restoration companies showed up at my door. The strange part? I never called any of them and nobody told me anyone was coming out. I did overhear one of the technicians I allowed in for a "free evaluation" on speakerphone with the plumber asking if a $2,000 finder's fee sounded reasonable. I kept my mouth shut but it definitely raised some red flags. I listened to all three companies separately and then decided to do some serious research online. While some companies have plenty of glowing Google reviews, once you start looking at other sources like Yelp, the Arizona ROC, and the BBB, the picture can look very different. Consider this a friendly warning to homeowners: do your homework. After digging deeper, I was fortunate to find ASAP Restoration. One thing that immediately stood out is that they do not work referral deals with plumbers, do not pay kickbacks, and do not play games with deductibles. They simply focus on doing the job correctly. The team was extremely professional. The mitigation/demo crew handled the water damage quickly and thoroughly, and the reconstruction team has been excellent. We're now about 90% finished with the rebuild and everything is coming together great. I just felt the need to share my experience before heading out for spring break. If you ever find yourself in a similar situation, take a breath, do your research, and call a company that focuses on integrity and quality work. For me, that company was ASAP Restoration.

Your efforts saved us more than 50% compared to other companies' estimates for the exact same scope of work something we're still amazed by. The third-party consulting firm was equally impressed with the quality and professionalism demonstrated by your crew. We truly value your commitment to excellence and integrity, and we look forward to working with you again in the future. Overall the best prices I could find for full house restoration service.

We can only speak to the process of bidding out a job through our homeowners insurance, as we…read moredecided we were not comfortable using this company. Everyone we dealt with was very pleasant, and they may do excellent quality work. However: 1. We were told our estimate had been approved by insurance and sent a contract to sign. We were pressured a couple of times to sign the contract. When I checked with our insurance, the estimate had, in fact, not been approved. 2. The contract contained a clause that said we agreed to purchase Builders Risk insurance, which indemnifies the company against any loss of building materials or tools while working on a job. This is a huge conflict of interest and our lawyer advised us against it. This contract line is opening a door to potential contractor fraud on the customer's dime. We would never have signed a contract without this clause removed. 3. Another clause stated that we would be responsible for a larger deposit if the estimate were above a certain total, or any overages above the estimate amount. While this seems reasonable, I wanted to have a copy of the estimate in-hand before agreeing to this clause. When I asked for a copy of the estimate, I was told, "we are not allowed to give you a copy without insurance permission." Odd, since the other company we got a bid from (who works with our insurance so frequently that they were auto-approved) gave us their bid directly before sending it to insurance. When I said we definitely would not sign any contract until we had a copy of the estimate, then the "portal to download it was down." Some concerning business tactics seemed to be going on here. We did not feel comfortable moving forward with this company, and felt a duty to let others know as they're making decisions.

AZ Fire and Water Restoration, I know your company is busy with a lot of jobs, and you wished you were finally going to be done at my place, but...then I experienced TWO flooding incidents, seriously less than 30 days apart. From the beginning: there were several subcontractors in my house those first few days. Vincent/Victor..from the environmental company, sorry I can't remember your name, I was so sick with the flu, but you explained everything that was going to happen, who everyone was...it started to make sense and wasn't nerve wracking. Alex was professional, courteous, and very knowledgeable about what needed to be done to dry out my house. I appreciate that he took the time to explain what needed to be done. I had SO Many questions. Brad had to work with me on the asbestos in the walls mortar and drywall paint in the two rooms. What a nightmare that was!! All this time living here, not knowing I was living along a pollutant. Brad was cool, he helped to cushion the expense that goes along with that environmental abatement, he was so patient while I got frustrated with...everything!!! Just dealing with living at a hotel... Out of a suitcase while the house was being renovated. Bob Miller! Another One of the good guys, I found him to be fair and kind. Bob should have been on the project from day one, but he is on the repair side, not the removal side, so when he took charge of the project, it got extra attention, while I was home sick with the flu. The teams worked hard, and I never heard a thing...they worked long hours and full days to put my house back together. And when the house frickin flooded the 2nd time, because of an unknown broken pipe, BOB stepped in to help me with my homeowner's insurance company so I didn't have to file another claim. I kind of feel like BOB had my best interests in making things right! Thanks to Hector and Richard, the two rooms look amazing. The walls are smooth and seamless. You can't tell there was ever even a repair. And the paint job is fantastic. Mark with Zippity Split Plumbing, thanks for fixing the drain issues. I hope there isn't a next time, but I appreciate all the work that was completed professionally in putting my house back together.
