It still gives that warm and cozy family feel while also bringing in a classic bar, variety of seating, and large windows to bring in a lot of natural light. Their menu is amazing. They offer all of the typical Italian dishes, but what really gets me is their happy hour. They offer an entire personal pizza for $6! It was more than enough for two people to share. It was served fresh out of the oven and was absolutely amazing. Unfortunately, I was in so excited to eat it that I forgot to take a photo!!!! You will have to take my word that it was perfect. I also ordered a margarita, which didn't have the best tequila but did the job. It was very bitter, but I was just happy they offered cocktails since many places only serve wine. Overall, after coming here with a group of about 15, I loved it. The servers were super friendly and asked if we wanted to split the bill prior to serving, were accommodating with seating, and had excellent food. I'll start off with, I'll give them another chance soon. Seeing as this was my first visit, it had hiccups. The drinks were served the fastest, and then the salad (which was delicious). But everything there after went down hill. We waited 30-40 mins on the pizza, and when we did receive it, the pepperoni was burned, and the dough was quite hard. Service could have been way more attentive seeing as it wasn't busy. With that being said, I did enjoy the tvs and March Madness on all of them, and did find it impressive that they offer free pizza making classes for kids (my son will attend soon). This place I really hadn't noticed, but it's in a great location, right off Atlantic in the mall with Publix, Chick Fil-a, Carvel, etc. It's a large place, a great corner spot. Never heard of it, but it is part of an expanding small chain that's based in Connecticut, with a few locations. The owner happened to be in the house, so was interesting to talk to. He has the right idea, interested in providing a great experience for the guest, would like to make this into a large national chain. Pretty ambitious... so we'll see. Upon arriving at the Delray Beach Amtrak Station, to visit a dear friend of mine for the weekend, my friend took me to Square Peg Pizzeria. We were greeted with smiles. The place was bright and lively with a DJ offering dance tunes. My friend & I opted to sit at the bar. The bartender was very attentive & friendly. We ordered specialty cocktails- Negroni & The Burbs Martini. Both were refreshing and tasty. We shared a Small Truffle Boscaiola Pizza which was presented with just the right amount of toppings and included six slices. The bartender also supplied garlic powder & parmesan cheese. My friend & I each ordered a glass of wine afterwards. The bathrooms are clean and there is plenty of parking in the open lot. Came here for dinner with friends. Did not eat inside due to a loud Bingo game going on So we sat outside. Service was ok. Ordered Ceaser salad which was decent. Boneless chicken wings were actually fried chicken tenders. They were ok. The Detroit Pizza for $29 was really bad and I rate a lot of restaurants. Came here for a kids pizza making event and of course mama had to eat too!!! Cool thing is, they have a happy hour everyday, so I waited until 2 and ordered my food which included a side Caesar, mozzarella sticks and a one topper pizza. Pizza is wood fired so it's very good. Mozzarella sticks were pretty good as well and so was the Caesar. Service was a bit slow because despite there being 4-5 ppl here, there was only 1 woman serving tables. My daughter's free pizza came out piping hot where as mine felt like they let it sit for a few minutes before being delivered.Overall, it was a good experience and I would come back for the happy hour. I like Square Peg Pizza. The crust is puffed and doughy, they slightly over cheese, and they use a tangy tomato sauce. Each slice had very little flop but big on flavor. I especially like their cupped pepperoni. Once cooked, they are a little greasy in a good way and crispy. I had their hot-honey chicken wings. I'd skip them next go around. Square Peg has a pretty decent happy hour that ends at 7. A side salad, 2 small 12" pizzas, 2 Chianti's and a dessert ran us about $60 including tip. I hope Square Peg makes it. It's a large place, with not enough customers. The shopping center where it is located is on the corner of Military and Atlantic. There's terrible signage and very little visibility from the street. Came here with our church youth (a group of about 25 people) on a Thursday evening and we were greeted with the kindest hostess. We are a big group so we always expect it to be chaotic when we go anywhere. We were immediately seated and given water and plates. We ordered a variety of pizzas and wings for the whole table. The wings were 10/10- they were absolutely phenomenal. Extra crispy with the right amount of sauce!! The pizza was also amazingggg!! I had a slice of the prosciutto and arugula and was obsessed. The rest of the table also enjoyed the buffalo chicken and pepperoni. I will definitely be back here again (and maybe our whole group again lol)!! The crust doesn't even taste like pizza dough, the cheese is bland and tasteless and the pizza sauce what little there was of it, was hardly edible. How could this place get a four star rating? I just had a pizza delivered just plain cheese. It was terrible. It was half cooked just about raw after the first bite so I put it in the oven for 400° for about 1520 minutes. Still was terrible Caesar salad. Some of our friends had been to Square Peg Pizzeria's Happy Hour and recommended it to us so we decided to give it a try today. When we arrived at the time HH started which was 2PM, we were greeted by their very welcoming waitress, Jasmine who told us that we could choose any table we wanted. The restaurant is large and they have tables for 4 or more, some were high tops and they also have a bar where you can also sit. The tables around the perimeter also had padded bench seats... my fav! They also have a few xl TV screens around the restaurant. We told Jasmine that our friends recommended their Happy Hour so she gave us that menu. We asked Jasmine for her recommendations based on our tastes. Her input was so awesome!! Our wings were seasoned with Square Peg seasoning and now I am highly recommending it! We got both the blue cheese and the ranch dip. YUM!! The 2 mozzarella sticks were the size of eggrolls! No kidding! And then the pizza came out. Hot, cheesy, crispy and just right. Definitely New Haven style and an excellent version of that! Before we finished, Matt, the manager of Square Peg, came over to our table and introduced himself and wanted to know how we liked the food and restaurant. We both told him we were ultra impressed with everything... the restaurant, the food, Jasmine, the service. Matt told us about all the nighttime activities they have - Karaoke, Bingo, ... the parties they've made, the parties that people have made there! And what's coming!! Oh boy!! We came here to watch the Super Bowl and we're told that the sound would be on and all we are hearing is CNC music factory and watching the game on a couple of TVs . Yelpers please ease up on the 4-5 stars. Maybe you have only eaten little Caesar's your whole life. This place is ok, they are definitely trying to grow into what they really want to be. The comparison to New Haven pizza is way off. The pizza is ok nothing great, I would suggest that if they want to stay open to quickly elevate the quality of the pizza and ingredients. I'm not a fan of precooked boxed sausage crumbles on my pizza. A $30 pizza requires the best quality ingredients. Also New Haven pizza doesn't flop this pizza is very is very floppy. I ordered a Cheese Detroit Style pizza which was $27 for the smallest and most unappetizing pizza i've had in town and i've lived here for 18 years. You're better off getting a frozen Digorno pizza at Publix. I was so disappointed by the size and quality of the pizza I immediately went to the Mcdonald's drive thru down the road. It was Wednesday and we Went here for happy hour and trivia with a party of 5.. ordered most of happy hour menu.. mozzarella bread, which was yummy , pork meatballs and fried mozzarella were very good.. also had a house and Caesar salad which was ok.. my friends said pizza was good..my only bad critique.. were the metal chairs with bars that press you in your butt hips... they are cool looking but, I couldn't sit in them.. they were the most uncomfortable chairs I've ever sat in.. thank god for the cushioned slide in booth.. Trivia was fun it started at 7:00 lasted until After 8:00.. overall food was good and it was a fun place, but I won't be back because of those metal chairs with the bars... sorry, comfort is the key! read more

Square Peg wasn't good with below average food at prices that do not reflect its location or the cafeteria like dismal and basic dining room. The seats are hard, much like a fast food outlet and are designed to be uncomfortable and discourage a relaxing dinner and that is not a good look for a restaurant. Also the napkins are paper and who wants that? There are a few random vintage video games adding to the mediocrity of the dining room design. We tried three pizzas and none were even average. A basic cheese pizza was forgettable and the best compliment I can offer is that I've had worse but it's really the Sicilian/square pies that are strange. They seem to be mostly bread and it's like the pizza maker forgot to fill up the pie with ingredients and it's not like they are using high quality ingredients to begin with. Did they run out of sauce and cheese or are they just thrifty. The Sicilian/Detroit pies are priced at $30 and more and the price is fine if it offered more than bread, you know like a pizza. A Chicken Parm which seemed reasonably priced at $28 was a large portion until I realized it was mainly pasta. There was one chicken cutlet and it was okay but would have been better if it were a fair portion. All is not bad at Square Peg as service is excellent with a nice waiter and caring manager and I know this is a small chain and there is nothing the local management can do to elevate the restaurant. Happy Hour seems okay though but I wouldn't go out of my way for this place. read more

As you can see by the picture below, we were given an invitation for 1000 free pizza giveaway. The QR code states scan here to reserve your free pizza so I did so it started at 5 PM at 6 PM. We showed up at the restaurant, and when we were ready to check in, we were informed that they no longer had any free pizzas that they had already given all 1000 of them away in an hour time Even though we registered and reserved our pizza. We have been here several times. The food is OK. The status is friendly, but I don't think we will be returning here anytime soon read more

Pizza was the best $7 pizza I've had (also happy hour price). Food is probably 4 stars but bumped it up to 5 stars because of the service from Keileigh (spelling might be off). As a recent transplant to the area, I've been exploring local restaurants and bars, and this pizzeria quickly became one of my favorites. Great happy hour deals, pizza is amazing !I've visited multiple times and have consistently had great experiences,especially thanks to bartenders Sam and Lexi. They're personable, attentive, and create a genuinely welcoming environment. However, during a visit this past Sunday, I encountered a very different atmosphere. The bartender working at the time, was unfortunately not pleasant. Her demeanor came across as aggressive and unapproachable, which made for an uncomfortable experience. It was disappointing, especially after such positive prior visits. While I still think highly of the establishment overall, I'll likely plan future visits around days when Lexi or Sam are working. Had gotten a gift card and decided to use it for late lunch. 1:30'arrival found only one other couple in the place. We were told to sit anywhere. The server came and brought menus and asked for ant beverages. Just wanted water to start. We got two glasses of room temperature water from a pitcher with no ice. We ended up ordering an order of fried calamari to share and a chicken parm sandwich for each of us. The calamari was brought first and although tasty enough it seemed overpriced for the portion, which was smaller than most Italian restaurants. The sandwich came and although tasty, was not up to the standards of most other comparable places. The chicken seemed to be coated similar to fried chicken fingers and did not fill the whole roll. The ends were just bread. Average amount of cheese and sauce. The "toasted roll" as mentioned on the menu was NOT toasted and was soft unlike what an Italian bread sandwich should be. It was also served with a bag of potato chips for some reason. Unfortunately for the server, a few more people came in and she was the only one, plus she was covering the bar as well. The check with just one diet soda added came to over $50 which is on the high side.
