Fratelli's is a very casual neighborhood spot in a strip mall with Marshall's and TJ Maxx, which makes it convenient if you live nearby. We sat at a high-top table and there was decent music playing, giving it a relaxed vibe. We ordered a pizza that basically had everything on it, chicken renée with spaghetti, and a caprese salad. Someone in our group also ordered the chicken wings. Overall, I thought the food was decent--nothing fancy, but perfectly fine for a casual night out. It's the kind of place you go when you want something easy and nearby. Not a destination restaurant, but it did the job. So far, this is my favorite take out pizza place in Boca. Their slices are thin, the crust is crispy, and there's good flavor in the spices used. We have gotten the cheese pizza and there's sausage pizza and both have been great! Their prices are pretty fair compared to others as well. They were very busy, especially with take out orders, but our server/bartender, Andy was attentive and quick to offer help with refills and orders, always checking in to see if we had everything we wanted. We have been maybe 5 or 6 times since my last review and I am sticking to my rating of 5. Had veal piccata which was very good and my wife had eggplant parm which she also liked. They were lunch portions -- a bit smaller and cheaper--but still big enough that we both had another meal at home with the leftovers. The waitress was very sweet. I chanced upon Fratellis one day for lunch. They only serve whole pizza, not single slices, so I decided to try their Veal Parm hero. The hero came with fries. Had dinner here with friends. Pasta fagoli soup, salads, veal Parmesan and pasta is what we ordered. Everything was very good including the garlic rolls. The service was friendly and attentive. My only complaint is that there were small flies buzzing around inside the restaurant. I'm taking one star off for that. They need to take care of that issue. read more

The service is always good but the last time we were there we had a waitress named Lyndsey who was well above good, she was great! I have ordered delivery from Fratelli's several times in the last year and I can say that the restaurant is inconsistent. The pizza has improved but the dinners have gone down in quality, big time. A Chicken Parm featured what seemed like formerly frozen chicken and it was dry and tough. Rigaton with Pesto had pesto that was not fresh and chicken that was even worse quality than in the Chicken Parm. Between the food and the low level of customer service I received I tried calling after I left to speak to someone in charge like the owner. I figured they would want to hear about this situation and girl that answered the phone said we definitely want you to come back they will call you later which they never did. That automatically takes them off my list because they don't care about the customer and that is important to me. The sandwich wasn't inexpensive by any means so what did I get for my money? A soggy bun and very minimal meat inside (wound up, throwing the bun away) if Anna would've asked how my food was, I would have told her and had her send it back, but she never did. She was very aloof didn't seem like someone I would ever have out on my dining room floor if I had a restaurant! So proceed with caution according to reviews I just read someone spotted a mouse and flying insects before. and obviously having an owner who does not care about taking care of the flying bugs or their customer this is not someone that I want to give my money to! read more

I was in the Delray Beach area visiting family that were down for the winter and wanted to take them to an Italian restaurant. Found this one on Yelp and thought I'd give it a try. I was not disappointed! When. I walked in. I thought I was in one of the god father movies. It even had the little room in the back! They have a super menu with all the goodies that you would expect in an Italian restaurant. I had the chicken cacciatore which was excellent! Along with the garlic knots, I felt I was in the old country. My guest all had other dishes and like we normally do, we tried a little of each! All cooked to perfection. They have a full bar and my favorite drink, unsweetened tea. From what I was told by my guest, the wine was splendid! Me being a large person, I couldn't eat it all and had to have a to go box. Oh my gosh all the pizza restaurants were bursting with tourists and we wanted pizza. Decided to stop by our neighborhood Fratellis. Parking was great and available after hours at the nearby shops. The place was full as well with tourists and locals. This time we sat outside and ordered our fav pint, an enormous delicious Greek salad fit for two to split and a pizza. The pizza was not large but after the huge salad with olives and feta and yummy dressing the pizza was perfect for two. Only next time we will take one home. It was one of the best crust pizzas we have had in a long time. The sauce was not too sweet or sour. All was absolutely delectably perfect and the evening was a blast. I gave up soda a long time ago so I appreciated they didn't upcharge for a bottle of water. Last week we shared a chicken parm hero, a meatball hero and a chicken parm roll. This was enough food for two days. Both of the subs were very good, but very light on the chicken parm & meatballs. The star of the show was the chicken parm roll. We shared the small & it was huge! Im trying so hard to love this little restaurant. I need a local "go to" Italian restaurant serving up delicious Italian food, good service, a comfortable atmosphere and fair prices. Although I've been here several times I'm still not convinced it's my "go to" place. The restaurant has been in business for over 20 years which means a lot to me but I have not had a great experience yet. The service is one reason. It has not been friendly or welcoming. We have always been seated immediately and a server appears right away, however they are either rushed or disinterested. We are asked about drinks and served fresh garlic rolls.. This last visit my boyfriend and I shared the antipasto salad and it was very nice. Our meal arrived on time and was exactly what we ordered . I usually order the chicken piccata $17.99 or a pasta dish average $15.99 . The prices seem high maybe because I still live in a world where a dish of ziti was $7.99. The atmosphere is ok. You walk into a bar section with a few tables separate from a main dining area with booths and tables as well as a back room dining area. Each section seems a little small and if they were at full capacity it would feel very crowded. Parking is in the shopping center lot with no problems. I just wish there was something about the food or the restaurant in general that stood out and gave me a reason to make this a favorite. I will keep trying for now. read more

i come here all the time. love the people that work here. however. i'm a server and bartender, a child should never be allowed to sit at a bar. ever. i'm in this establishment today and there is a woman with a child coming to the bar ordering pizza. that's fine if it was to go however she's sitting here eating AT THE BAR, WITH A MINOR. i feel so uncomfortable sitting next to a child under the age of 10 years old at a bar where they serve alcohol. i ask the bartender if that's something they always allow, she said to me "she's just ordering pizza" okay but she's eating at a bar with alcohol being served. very unprofessional. not sure if ill come back here again. edit: as im leaving the bartender (not sure her name works mornings weekdays) had the audacity to ask if i was writing a review? yes i am. you're letting a child sit at a bar then being rude to me about it? no way. i will be contacting an owner when available. Great food, really this is a hidden gem in Delray Beach. They have the best a la vodka sauce and balsamic vinaigrette. The restaurant is clean and they have nice staff. They also have a separate area for take out. Their tables are tall though, I'm 5"3 and I feel like I need a booster seat haha read more
