    Shrimp parmigiana

First time visit. Open air restaurant. Great service . Bartender was very attentive. Order the shrimp parmigiana. Could easily be shared. Thought they made a mistake and brought chicken. It's that big. Excellent blend of cheese and sauce

We came bc a friend recommended it and it was only mediocre. We asked for it crispy and it came out with a floppy crust. We sent it back + it came back burn and still floppy. The description of the pizza also didn't say it didn't have red sauce so we were disappointed about that too. So we ordered a side of sauce. The sauce was garlicky but thick (which we like) Overall, underwhelmed and will not be returning anytime soon. Service was fine.

Great wood fire restaurant! We came here on a Sunday night and were seated right away outside. Thankfully they had patio heaters to keep us warm on an usually chilly night. I ordered the Chicken Parmesan Pizza and it was delicious! It came out very quickly because the oven is kept at 700 degrees. The chicken was breaded crispy, with a tender meat. It's vodka sauce with bacon was the best part, creating a creamy and sweet tomato flavor. I didn't taste the bacon too much but saw a few diced pieces. On top was, shredded mozzarella, fresh basil, and parmesan for a cheesy bite. It was even better with red pepper flakes sprinkled. There are 6 slices cut into the pizza, so it was very filling and I had leftovers for lunch the next day. Recommend checking this restaurant out, menu is full of plenty of options!

Ate here recently. Pizza, salad etc. Good waiter Anthony. Purple hair. Ring of Sauron. Quick. Good. Smart. Busy place. Lots of seating. Indoors and out. Manager Dennis. Also smart. Quick. Busy keeping an eye on all. Lots of staff. Happy hour discounts as well. Get here.

Stopped here with some friends that have dinner and overall it was pretty good. The muscles and clams were actually delicious. Tried the pizza and it was good, I thought the crust was a little soft but overall not bad. Service was decent, guys serving the food were a little confused but nice. Large outdoor seating area, so it's a nice weather we took advantage of that.

I had the scallops risotto and it was amazing.. just wanted to chew it slowly so it would last longer. Risotto was a bit salty for my taste but lately I've been super sensitive to salt. Either way still a fantastic meal. We had the Arancini appetizer and again, totally out of this world delicious.... Can't wait for leftovers tonight for dinner. Shawn was the best waiter... took care with us answered all our questions. Never wanted for anything. Really appreciate his patience and attention without being in your face. He's a good man.

Great food and service. Sophia was excellent as our server. We were there for happy hour (a nice surprise half off drinks and discounted pizza and apps). Hubby had the eggplant roll up app and did a pizza (I adore wood fired pizza) We left very happy

Went with my friends to try a new spot and liked the food. We decided to share everything and order a couple of our favorite items. Portions are great and food is very good. Our server was very nice and helped us decide most of our food as we were new to the restaurant. Please order the red sangria pitcher! Absolutely amazing

I had lunch here with my mom and brother, I didn't have super high expectations because I feel that they quality of food across restaurants has gone down in general, but I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the short rib ravioli, it was delicious! The short rib was by far the highlight (only because I'm not a big cheese ravioli fan). The short rib was very flavorful, tender, falling apart, and a little charred - so good. My brother devoured his mushroom risotto and my mom liked her chicken marsala. Our server was Jacob. He was very kind, attentive, and gave great recommendations.

Some of the meat was a little dry, however with their guacamole and sauces that they offer I ended up finishing the whole thing! The place itself is really nice with the doors open and good atmosphere and their staff was super friendly and was always checking in on this. We were sat at a table near the bar which was great as it was inside and had a nice breeze with the fans and AC. Damien was our server and was wonderful at explaining the menu and the concept of their scratch kitchen. For our drinks we tried the classic and guava-habanero margaritas. We ended up liking the classic more just because the fresh ingredients were reminiscent of those we had in Mexico. It was a little too warm out to be doubling down on spice in our drinks too. We ordered a brisket quesadilla and for our tacos: carnitas, chorizo, and crispy fish. For our second round (not pictured), my husband tried the spicy chicken. He was warned the spicy chicken is exceptionally spicy but he didn't think that warning was warranted so maybe don't be afraid to try it if you're not big on spice. We had tap water that they left a large bottle on the table for. Even though we didn't drink too much of it, they still replaced it with a fresh bottle after a while since it probably got warm. One staff member even came to wipe up the water that had sweat off our drinks. Overall, El Camino exceeded our expectations. All of the staff was kind and courteous and the food was off the chart. And those happy hour prices are hard to beat! We definitely will be back!

They offer all of the typical Italian dishes, but what really gets me is their happy hour. They offer an entire personal pizza for $6! It was more than enough for two people to share. It was served fresh out of the oven and was absolutely amazing. Unfortunately, I was in so excited to eat it that I forgot to take a photo!!!! You will have to take my word that it was perfect. I also ordered a margarita, which didn't have the best tequila but did the job. It was very bitter, but I was just happy they offered cocktails since many places only serve wine. Overall, after coming here with a group of about 15, I loved it. The servers were super friendly and asked if we wanted to split the bill prior to serving, were accommodating with seating, and had excellent food. I had to ask for water 3 times before receiving it. I asked for extra napkins that never arrived. I had to get up and retrieve them myself from the bar. Our pizza came but we were never given the red pepper, cheese, and oregano - and since our waitress (who was also subbing as the hostess) was MIA - I had to go up to the food prep area and ask for those items myself. After being a 'regular' and showing up weekly for their Bingo event for the past 5 months, we were pushed out of the Bar after someone reserved 9 seats (which is almost the entire bar area). This was the 1st time we have ever seen 'reserved' signs. When I questioned this their only response was: well, you can make a reservation too. I would have thought that some loyalty would have applied. I'm hoping that corporate is aware that even if your food is good - if you're rude to the customers - word does get out. I made my reservation for next week - so we will see how that goes!

The espresso martini was good as was the Point Break, with tequila and guava juice, very nice, very tropical. Avalon Beach House used to be Avalon Steak & Seafood House. The first time I went in 2022, I remember it being more of a traditional steakhouse. The Ave has grown significantly around it over the years, but it's still one of the staple restaurants in a central location. Overall, it was great meal with good service and nice atmosphere. It's sill one of the gems. We started with the wedge salad and cheesy bread. We wanted to get the Filet Mignon and the Prime Cut Ribeye to share them, but they were out of the Filet which was a bit surprising. Instead, we got the Crispy Chicken Piccata. They were both excellent. The fingerlings and asparagus were good and loved the red wine sauce. The crispy chicken was not too heavy, with lemon and an ample arugula salad. I don't remember the name of desert, but it was a combo of a browny with an Oreo cookie layer (which the kid in me couldn't refuse) with a scoop vanilla ice cream. It was great.
