The motor is fine but what happened was the internal springs that can't be seen snapped so with his coaching, he explained my options and he had the parts available. My issue was fixed same day and in my opinion a decent reasonable price. Great service, fast accurate, same day repair. I also appreciate gator garage door sending me emails and photos of the repairs being done so I was kept in real time updates. I really appreciate when a business takes the time to use technology because I know I could've paired myself with another garage door firm that would price quote me fix to repairs and not send me an itemized list of items that were repaired and that they would take the time so I do feel that Gator garage door is superior than most.

I had used Alliance Overhead Door in the past and they were the first call I made. The owner, Chris, took my call on a Sunday around 11am and asked me a few questions to diagnose the issue. It was likely an internal spring that had likely broken and needed replacement. I was afraid there would be an extra charge for a Sunday repair, but Chris so nope. So, I decided to move forward with getting the issue handled. Chris needed to address a current customer and then could be at my place around 1pm. As he was on his way, he texted me with an ETA, which was nice. Once at my place, he confirmed the issue and recommended at Torsion Spring Conversion. He confirmed the price, which was very reasonable, and he got right to work. Within an hour the old broken spring shaft was replaced with the new torsion spring rated for 25,000 cycles. Not only did he fix the issue, he also took the time to inspect the door and lubed the wheels and hinges before leaving. Now I am back in business with a working garage door. Of the 4 bids I requested, Wire Genie came in the middle in price but Eric was heads and above in his consideration and scoping of the task whereas many other installers seemed to be guestimating effort. Eric had a number of helpful suggestions both from camera positioning to running lines for future use and he did a phenomenal job on running a POE Doorbell camera behind brickwork and only needing one access cut that, at his suggestion, we put a 2-outlet blank faceplate over for future access/maintenance if needed. All cables were carefully labeled and terminated into my server rack patch panel. Awesome work!

I now have rock solid WiFi both inside and outside my house ~600Mbps for an extended distance and constant speeds over Ethernet even faster than that.
