I thought it was the opener and something getting out of sync but after some troubleshooting, it was something more serious. I had used Alliance Overhead Door in the past and they were the first call I made. The owner, Chris, took my call on a Sunday around 11am and asked me a few questions to diagnose the issue. It was likely an internal spring that had likely broken and needed replacement. I was afraid there would be an extra charge for a Sunday repair, but Chris so nope. So, I decided to move forward with getting the issue handled. Chris needed to address a current customer and then could be at my place around 1pm. The Installation was Perfect - smooth open/close mechanism, the garage and driveway area were clean of debris, the finish and installation of these 2 new doors with insulated doors and trim was true perfection! There were Wooden Panel style garage doors originally put on when the house was built in 1985. One of the wooden doors was rotting on the bottom wood panel and the panel inserts were starting to peel. There was no way these doors could be replaced or repaired.
