You will not be disappointed you chose them to take care of your project/home and we cannot wait for our next chance to get to work with them. Sergio, Jason, and all the guys were great and we are so so happy with how everything turned out. We were in need of some masonry work at our home and had the hardest time finding someone we could trust to do the work. We were ghosted several times, and the other bids we did get were clearly halfhearted and absurdly priced. We called Rock Founded Okc and talked to Sergio the same day. Within a few days his brother came out to measure our house and discuss the project with us - and a few days later they had gotten a detailed bid back to us and gave us flexibility on when we wanted to start. They started the next week and showed up early in the morning. They were very careful around our new windows and made sure to protect the house during demo. They quickly removed our old damaged brick and were ready to lay the new brick the next day. A few days later and we are left with a beautiful home again and they did an amazing job! They were great every day they were here and always communicated any changes/obstacles etc that came up during the job. The work is amazing and speaks for itself but they went the extra mile and spent the time to clean up thoroughly and we did not have to do a single thing to clean up after they had left. For anyone thinking of doing any brick/stone/concrete work on their new build or their existing home like we did - we cannot recommend Sergio/Jason and all the guys enough. I redid the painting and window repair myself and the paint matched and the leaks stopped. I know absolutely nothing about home repair. The leak repairs don't look great but there's no more water coming in. I did for less than $100 what they couldn't do for over $3,000. They told me to pound sand as far as getting any refund.

I'm sure they have great skills that I absolutely do not have. Moral to the story is see if you can fix it yourself first and save yourself some money. Five stars is not really enough to get across how happy we are with his work. Earlier this summer, we found ourselves in a position no one wants to be in: dealing with an unexpected family loss. Compounding this situation was the fact that it occurred in a city that was not our own. Moving forward from this experience was going to be hard enough, but it also came with some pretty substantial home repair/renovation projects that needed to be done ASAP. Doing so in a town that is not our residence, and with contractors with whom we were not familiar, made it even more challenging. Through Yelp, we took a chance on finding a contractor to do a test run with a small but time-sensitive project, and Joshua came through with a really great bid and personal touch. His communication was exceptional, and his personality stood out in both in our online communication and again when we met in person. Most importantly, the care and commitment he brought to even this small project, plus the humanity and empathy he showed us during a really difficult time, made all the difference. We relayed to him the scope of the home repairs needed going forward, and asked if they were within his comfort zone. When he responded positively, we told him he was our go-to guy for every project needed on that house, and that we trusted him implicitly to do the work independently. He didn't let us down. He sent photos of his progress and gave us honest appraisals of what could be done, and what prices would be for labor and materials. He worked on a tight timeline and got the work done on time and on budget. Moreover, the quality of the work that he did approaches the level of artisan, not just contractor, to the point where I'd employ him for our own home projects if it was at all possible (it's not, sadly). I don't know what else I can say to relay our impressions of Joshua. He's the best contractor I've ever worked with, and I wish him nothing but success in the future. If you get a chance to work with him on a home project, consider yourself fortunate.

I recently had my water service line replaced from the meter to my house. During the project, David discovered that the boring contractor hadn't installed the new line deep enough to meet code. It would have been easy to work around it, trench through my landscaping, or simply let it go--but instead, he advocated for me. He stood his ground, insisted the boring company come back and do the job correctly, and ultimately saved me from ending up with a substandard installation. That decision cost him an entire day's work while everyone waited for the boring company to return, but he still put doing the job right ahead of simply getting paid and moving on. To top it off, when the project was finished, his final invoice came in below the high end of the estimate he had originally given me. In a world where it's common to brace yourself for surprise costs, that was a refreshing experience. One of the reasons I selected them is their communication, availability, and reasonable/competitive price. I was also impressed their quote included the exact same items that my "initial selected vendor" provided. A Better Way did not have the adjusters findings, but their quote covered all the adjuster had listed. That was affirmation to me that A Better Way is thorough. I did some research by looking at reviews, checking BBB, and requesting insurance coverage for the companies. Even though A Better Way is fairly new (I think April 2024), that did not scare me off. My thinking is that a new company would be inclined to do a great job to develop a good reputation as they grow. I was impressed with my communication with Hollis who answered my questions and shared his knowledge. We talked about pros and cons of options with a focus on the prevalent and variable weather in OK City. I wanted to have the roof installed prior to the end of the year. We set an appointment for the day after Christmas. The crew showed up and started the work around 7:30 a.m. My tenant said there were A LOT of workers, maybe 7 or 8 people. This made the installation go quickly. I think it was because possible rain was in the forecast. I definitely appreciate they were completed before the light rain started. Overall, I am happy with my interactions with A Better Way and the installation of the roof. I would easily recommend their roofing services.
