If I could give this place zero stars I would. This service is crap I went to the website, filled everything out, even got an email with some guys number to call for my broken phone screen. I call and call and call and call well you get the picture and NO ONE PICKED UP, so I was like hey I'll just leave a text message and he can just respond when he wants and it's been 8hrs and still no text message. I need my phone fixed and thought they'd be quick and fast but no! Complete opposite! If there is a system like this is place make sure people actually come through. DON'T BOTHER! They won't show up or respond. Apparently HQ doesn't follow through with requests from their techs to call and reschedule services. I placed a service request for 2:00. 27 minutes after 2 and still no tech. I dug and found the techs number to find out he called and told them he's not even in town. He says he asked them to call me but they never did. If you call the number or any location listed on their site you are instructed to press 1 and all you get is a message to email them. If they can't answer the phone I don't have a lot of hope for a response to an email. It would be a great service if they actually provided it. At first I was very sceptical about using a more expensive ipad repair vendor, but I have to say I'm glad I did. James Simonson did an awesome job!! My ipad required multiple repairs after it was discovered the camera wasn't working after he fixed the screen. He could have said "well that's not my problem. I was hired to fix your screen and I did", but instead he said "let me see how I can make this right". After several attempts and driving all over Austin to meet me he had it fixed. I paid I Cracked to replace my cracked screen on my iPhone 6. I was told there was a lifetime warranty. Within a couple of weeks of the repair, my phone became unreliable. It would not respond to touch--which means it was pretty useless much of the time. I contacted the technician who performed the repair, and I contacted the company. I submitted their "warranty claim form", sent pictures of my phone, and hoped to hear back, all while my phone was unusable much of the time. After several emails, I Cracked claimed that my repair was not covered by warranty and that the technician was not acting on behalf of I Cracked when he serviced my phone. Even though I Cracked had given me his name and contact info, which is why I contacted him. This company does not stand behind their work or their employees. Do not trust them. read more

in yelp you will see several icracked "locations" in the austin area, which is sloppy. it's one company with a bunch of floating contrators. anyway, buyer beware: as a product/service, i think icracked is a sham. apple will replace your cracked screen for much less money. the icracked techs will preach "lifetime warranty" to imply that any future cracks/breaks will be covered at no cost, and that simply is not true. they mislead. you will come out of pocket again, at full price, if your screen breaks. so, say your iphone 6 screen is broken. why would you pay them $160 + tip (i spent $200 total) when you can walk into an apple store and pay them $109 plus tax? there simply is no good reason. read more

Went to their site, and pretty quickly received a reply by text asking if I knew how the system worked. I didn't and "Brian" texted back some info and requested the my model--it's an iPad Pro. After that, I was "ghosted"--I never received a return text--despite trying twice. I went to their corporate site, who responded they don't work on iPad Pro's, only on iPads. I totally understand and respect that they don't work on this equipment, but me having to track someone down to get a response is unprofessional and rude. There's no excuse for bad customer service when "Brian" could have easily sent a reply back saying, "Sorry, I don't work on those." I would have respected that. read more

This review is long overdue. I'm so grateful to Max for not only fixing my Iphone but for fantastic customer service. I dropped my phone a few months back. It wouldn't start, wasn't backed-up, but the alarm would turn on and off randomly, so as you can imagine - it was pretty much a crap situation. I was desperate - I even went to the store to buy a new phone, but thanks to a hiccup on Sprint's part I had to wait 48 hrs for them to process my upgrade. In the meantime, I looked for possible repair services, found Max/iCracked, and needless to say got the job done. What's fantatstic is that they can come to you - so convenient. Max was running late for our appointment, but let me know and kept me updated. I'm adding this to the review because I know I have fellow Yelpers who get annoyed by the littlest things and then immediately post negative reviews. Some things (inlcuding a delayed house call during Austin rush hour) need to be taken in stride.
