First off, even after looking at the phone and telling me that's Samsung, I would not warranty. The phone because of the so-called devastating damage to the phone. There was no a the remedy offered as far to look at the phone and tell me what's wrong with it. And how much it would cost? To get it fixed. There was no other options offered to me. It seemed as if the guy was more worried to get me out of the store so he could get back to doing whatever he was doing in the back. Pretty lame customer service, if you ask me. Whenever the guy finally came up front i explained to him that I was sent here by Samsung to have them. Look at my glitching phone front screen am I two months old, samsung Z Fold 6. He asked me to take my phone, protect her. Off the phone so he can inspect the phone. The guy literally looks at my phone and within 30 seconds. He says, oh man, your phone is severely damaged. Which clearly is simply cosmetic on this shaft of the phone. He made it as if the phone was completely destroyed and it can no longer be under warranty. But when you look at the pictures, you can clearly see that is cosmetic scratches on the phone. No damage to the front screen, no damage to the main screen and no major dents in the phone. It seemed as if the guy wanted me to hurry up and exit the building as if I was interrupting whatever he was doing, that was causing him not to be at the front desk.When I first arrived into the building. Needless to say, this is not over. I'm gonna take this to Samsung. And they're gonna look at the situation and get this taken care of but I would not send anyone to this business.. And on top of that, when I was leaving, I guess he calls himself being i'm sarcastic by telling me to have a great remaining the rest of my day. I kept my cool and my composure, and I just left without saying anything, .

John Cloud diagnosed a failed memory stick (oh no! they cost so much now!). I supplied an "extra" memory stick from one of the other computers at our church and John continued the repair diagnosing and fixing some particularly nasty software errors that had resulted from the initial hardware failure. All of our installed software now works reliably again! Great job! The machine was back in service on March 5 for a very reasonable repair cost! (Yelp removed this review - so I'm reposting.) IT'S TERRIBLE. THEY WILL SOLD YOUR PHONE TO 3RD PARTY if they have a chance to do it!!!! Don't go to this place. There's a chance that you'll use your phone. I requested software repair on my galaxy s8 on "24th October" and Cory (guy works at the shop) told me he would contact me soon. He didn't contact me as he promised, so I contacted Phil (tech guy) on "4th November", and he told me their software guy backed up my phone so he would check the date when I can pick up. I went to the store on "5th November" and talked to Cory, but he figured out my phone was still not repaired. He told me he would send me an email on "7th November." I realized it might take a long time so I was just waiting for them to contact me. However, they never contacted me for over a month. I called them on "13th December" - as I was super busy with my life and they promised me to contact me - But Phil told me he doesn't know if there's still my phone, and they might sold it for $ to cover repair fee. He said he sent me an email multiple times, BUT I NEVER RECEIVED ANY. So I asked him to send me proof that they send me any emails about my phone. Phil told me he will and he will contact me in the afternoon, but it never happened. He hasn't contacted me until now, 17th December, and I know they won't. So please, find a better place other than this one if you don't want to lose your phone. They will sell your phone by not contact you for over a month if they can't repair it. Phil, if you might read this, you know that's not the right way to do the business. I tried to understand the situation and gave you multiple chances, but you lied and never contacted me. I am very disappointed with your small business and unprofessional attitude. read more

My HTC Vivid phone had problems with the charge port and battery. Went to the ATT store and they informed me that my mobile insurance would cover the cost but that I would have to pay $199 deductible. I laughed and asked if they thought that it could be repaired. The ATT guys recommended that I take my phone over to Austin Cell. Before I went, they called the store to make sure they would be open. They were closing but offered to stay until I could cross Pflugerville and get to the store. The owner and repair guy both stayed until I arrived. He was able to change out the charge port, and put in a new battery. The cost was less than $100.00 which was a whole lot better that $199 that ATT wanted. If you need your phone fixed - head to Austin Cell and Tablet Repair - you won't be disappointed. Great small business. BTW - I cancelled my mobile insurance policy after I figured out that I have wasted $1600 on two mobile phones. read more

Austin Cell and Phil Rock! Dropped and fully immersed in water now TWICE in less then a month, I took my IPhone 3GS for a second time to a competitor and they said they couldn't fix it this time. I'm not eligible for upgrade until June so the guy at ATT said to go get my phone and take it to Austin Cell. Immediately called them and Phil convinced me to bring him the phone. Hoping for a miracle based on Phil's said experience, I took it to him and I got my miracle about two hours later! Phil is not only experienced but very friendly! So if you need repair on a cell phone and want to use local company with tons of experience, GO TO AUSTIN CELL! read more

Was quoted $80 for a screen replacement and an unlock. I called a couple days later to see when it would be ready for pick up and they told me in 2 or 3 more days and it would be $150 instead of the quoted $80. I complained and they said the best they could do was $120. It took a total 6 days to get my phone back and they STILL charged me $150 at pick up... That's nearly double what I was quoted. Instead of making a scene; I paid and will now warn everyone to stay away from this place. I tried to support a local, independent store and end up getting shafted in the end. read more

The staff here has been incredibly patient with me! Over this past year I've had a problematic iPhone 5, and have gone through 3 batteries and a charge port. Finally got fed up with the phone so upgraded, and when I came to do a backup it was quite the process! I didn't realize so much went into that. Not to mention I have 3 children... whom are rambunctious and was in and out of this store with me several time. Needless to say, the staff, and owner were ever so patient! I highly recommend Austin Cell and Tablet Repair. I accidentally broke my student's iphone screen and was in a bind. I brought it in and the phone wouldn't turn on, but luckily a new screen fixed that issue. Shout out to Corey for helping me out! The price was super reasonable - no need to shop around. It's only been a couple days but they have a 30 day guarantee on their work. Thanks again! (Tip: You can make an appointment online if you're in a time crunch, which I did. I dropped my kindle fire 2 days ago, it would turn on but the touchscreen wouldn't work :( I was lost without it. As a nurse, my Ipad and cell phone are my lifeline unfortunately. I have been there for repairs now 4 times for 4 different items. EVERY repair has been done immediate and inexpensive. Nina was able to open my phone and diagnose a problem in no time while I waited. I will forever return for any and all repairs. I highly recommend this shop for any and all electronic malfunctions. Wonderful experience! Outstanding local business that brings great service provided directly by the owner! Phil fixed my iPhone 4S within 10 minutes while I was there. He did everything right in front of my eyes. He explained me how the phone works, how to take care of it and of course provided me with a warranty. I'm glad I found him. This is a great place to go to have your ipod, iphone, ipad or tablet fixed. I took my sons iPod in and the repair was VERY reasonably priced, i used the Yelp* coupon, the store overcharged me by accident and then called to let me know about the error. The whole repair was less than $30 out the door. I have 5 iphones and several tablets in the family, I'll be back. Very fast turnaround as well. Honest, dependable, fast, reasonably priced. My daughter practically shattered her phone, front and back. Phil fixed it in like 15 minutes, while I stood there. I didn't have to wait and come back later to pick it up, and it was like half of what everyone else wanted just to replace the screen. They are super friendly! No one in a cell phone store has ever been that nice to me! With the abuse my daughter's phone takes, I'm sure I'll be a regular customer, because I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else. read more

I had a cracked screen on my iPhone 5 and Phil here changed it out in like 20 minutes. The folks here are friendly, and we had a nice chat while he worked on my phone. I would highly recommend this place if you need speedy, quality service. They even made me a cup of coffee (with cream and sugar) to drink while we waited and chatted. My niece came into town, and her phone screen broke along the way. I spoke to the nicest two people, and they even waited for us, even though it was 5 minutes to closing. Phil was quick, did a great job, and the price was decent. I'd recommend them for any repair. It's their honesty that was refreshing. Very good service. My 3 yo dropped my brand new galaxy s4 and he had it done in 3-4 business days. I was given a loaner phone for free while they fixed it. It was expensive but only because they had to replace both the LCD and glass because of the way the phone is made. He can do I-phone repairs right in the store. Fast, honest and I only paid what was quoted and no issues so far. read more

I walked in with a tablet that wouldn't charge. Something with the charger port wasn't working correctly. The technician immediately stopped what she was doing and worked on it for about 5 minutes and then handed it back to me in working order. And didn't charge me a thing!
