I could drone on about what they fixed, etc., but the fact is that in my nearly 25 years here, I seldom get this kind of service. Every person there is great-respectful, honest, and sometimes even funny. They actually communicate with you and tell you usually within a half hour how long something will take to fix. And here's a shocker for Seattle, they'll tell you if they've encountered another problem that may take longer/and or that it wouldn't be worth fixing. The bottom line is, if I could build a large company that fixes devices, I would start with Jet City as the model, and build every store exactly like it. By 10pm I noticed that the phone wouldn't charge anymore, not through wire, not through wireless charging. I am a business owner and I need my phone all the time, so I was pretty freaked out. We looked around and found this guy, iDriveToYouFixIt, apparently open until 11pm. On a FRIDAY NIGHT, at 10.30pm, this guy drove across two neighborhoods to meet me at my house. Grabs my phone and goes to his car, opens and diagnoses it on the spot, comes back and let's me know that just a little contact to the battery had fallen off. Not a broken battery or charging port or anything worse as I feared, but just this little thing. So he goes and fixes that right there, clears out some gunk around the front camera (that had apparently built up from a previous front glass repair at a crappy repair shop), cleans up the charging port while he's at it, and replaces the back plate with a brand new one, all within 45 minutes - and hands me back a fully functioning, in fact improved phone and then charges Uber Reasonably!! Instant fat tip, instant mega appreciation, and 5 star review. I couldn't tip as much as I wanted but trust me, I'll leave 5 star reviews everywhere and drum up his business as much as I can and make all my friends and family use his service, he deserves it. He spent nearly 5 hours on it, repairing the motherboard thst was actually the cause of the damage (the copper pads were ripped). Unfortunately the board was beyond repair but he did his best and I appreciate the time he spent trying to help me save the data on the system. They are friendly, affordable and fast at what they do and highly skilled (Micro needling new pads is not easy).

I went there to fix an issue with my computer's WiFi card and the employee made an unrelated issue…read moremy laptop had with one of its hinges worse, possibly intentionally, and now I'm concerned to even close my laptop again. I came in because the Yelp page says free estimates and I wanted to figure out how much it would cost for them to replace my WiFi card. I had an issue with one of my laptops hinges where part of the plastic is sticking out in the bottom right corner of the monitor because the hinge is partially broken. When the employee and I are talking I say that I'm not here to get the hinge fixed, the employee says it'll get worse, and while we're talking he pulls on the plastic that was sticking out, pulling it out farther than it's ever been for no reason. He also informed me that estimates were not free because I had an internal issue, and that an estimate would cost $99. I left. I couldn't see it well from my angle at the time, but after getting home I see that the hinge problem is much worse and now I have to consider going somewhere else in the hopes that wherever I go next will not damage my laptop to get more money out of me.

He came to our office the next day and fixed the phone in less than a half hour while I continued to work. The phone looks brand new. If I had gone to the Apple Store I would have had to wait in line, wait for them to find an identical refurbished model, wait for them to transfer all of the data from the old phone to the refurbished phone, and then pay almost three times what Shon charged me. Fine at first BUT a week in I started to experience problems: 1. Camera condensation on both lenses-- my phone was not near any water at work and there was fogging in my camera from the inside. Over time internal corrosion as a result and my phone wouldn't turn on. I NEVER had this issue PRIOR to this repair so WHY are you blaming the customer? 2. Flickering screen-- LCD problem. TELL ME why am I having this already after a recent screen replacement? Paid $50 and took it to a repair shop in Auburn after my phone won't turn on and they said whoever fixed your phone did a CHEAP job and they should do customer service recovery because 1. It wasn't sealed properly and a cheap adhesive was used. and 2. Cheap quality LCD used during replacement. While they offered 250 to repair they thought it'd be more cost efficient for me to pursue service recovery with the original shop. Their customer service was LAUGHABLE: only fix the screen for 209! I rather pay more and get it done at a place that was more honest and less shady! Better yet maybe just get a used phone because the cost is almost as much as my repair.The auburn location even offered a better price if I did choose to pursue them too.
