I requested a quote from another store initially and chose the option on Yelp of sending the same request to similar stores. Cooper was the very first one who replied & provided the least expensive cost for my broken charging port. I dropped my phone many times and it created some sort of black round shadow on the screen and it didn't bother me at all and my main concern was my charging port. I showed at 4pm today and met Cooper - a very friendly and professional guy. We discussed the issue and provided me a pager. He paged me right away because he saw the damage on the screen and offered me options. What he quoted me was a little bit less expensive compared to Apple Repair (which was $150) and the kiosk store in Alderwood Mall (quoted me $300). He said if I do the repair on the screen now along with the damaged charging port, he will give me a discount of $20. He seemed legit, so I said yes. I didnt ask how long the wait time was-- I waited for his page for 2 hours and I decided to walk back to his store before 6pm --- and he said he was paging me but I was 3 blocks away and just learned the pager works only from a few feet away! So maybe, this information needs to be mentioned. Overall, I am satisfied with the result! My bill was $195.98. There's a warranty coverage, too! Was pretty disappointed; I was looking forward to having a small well rated business take a look at my iphone as it has a 'numb spot.' Requested an appointment through the website and was confirmed in a automatic follow-up email. It was set for 10am on a Sunday. Showed up and there was no-one there, the phone was off, and the messages were full. The hours indicated on Yelp indicated that it should be open, as well as Google, but not Google Maps... no hours physically posted on the store-front. Bad Service and NOT honest people - Stay away I would never recommend this place to anybody. I took my iPad to get the screen fix on April 2020, it took them about 2 months to get it done, comes to find out when I got home that it can not be charged nor being recognized by my computer. I took it back and Cooper whom claims to be an expert assured me that he will get it fixed and it should be under warranty. a couple of month passed by didn't hear back from him, after multiple phone calls and several trips to their store in Roosevelt, I got lucky to see the store open, Cooper started tell me a wacky story of a break-in and the my IPAD was stolen. well, I sympathized with his bogus story and we agreed that he will be replacing it. or refund me for the value of the unit. well this conversation took place sometime in June of 2020. after multiple attempts of calling and emailing I received no response. I have filed a complaint with BBB and they also couldn't get an answer from that business either. This is not a good business and decent people to deal with. they are a bunch of unprofessional thieves takes people products and their money. I went to Emerald a while back to get several iPhone screens replaced as it seemed like a good deal compared to what you'd pay Apple. They did a good job with the replacement and didn't take too long. Several weeks after the replacement, I dropped one of the phones while getting out of the car. It was only 2 feet at the most but cracked the screen. The gorilla glass Apple uses in their screens do.not crack from such a small drop. Emerald is using really low-quality inferior replacement screens. So the money you think you're saving probably isn't worth it unless you have some heavy-duty case to protect it. read more

I CANNOT RECOMMEND THEM ENOUGH!! I have had to replace my screen twice, and both times I have come here. On top of being $70+ cheaper than Apple, they are so quick and efficient. My first screen break was a drop when I took my iPhone out of the case to clean it a year or two back. They wound up replacing it the next day in about 30 minutes. And then this week, I damaged the LCD as well as the glass. The repair was the lowest price I have found ($129 on an iPhone 7plus), and they also installed a tempered glass screen protector for a small fee. I had left my wallet at home and wound up being late because I had to swing by an ATM. No problem here, I called in and was treated with respect and compassion by the company. I wound up being $2 short of my total with the screen protector. Instead of shaming me or increasing tension, I was met with compassion again as my repairman discounted my price. I am so grateful for the help I received, the INCREDIBLE SPEED (less than an hour both times), and the clean and friendly environment. If you need an iphone repaired, this is where you should go. Fixed my screen in under 30min, looks and works great.

I tried to schedule an iPhone screen repair using the scheduling portal on the Emerald City website, but the portal was thoroughly messed up. I tried selecting Saturday, Feb 2 (on more than one browser even), but the calendar was under the impression that Feb 2 was a Tuesday and showed me that no times were available that Tuesday. Understanding that technical glitches happen, I then tried called the phone number they provided on the scheduling portal. I called twice in fact on subsequent days and both times received a recorded message inviting me to leave a message after which I would receive a return phone call "during business hours." I left a message 24 hours ago now but have yet to receive a response so I found another place more than eager to actually serve customers and will be taking my phone there instead. read more

I dropped off my sons Apple watch for screen repairing sept 2020. The watch worked but corner of screen was cracked. I picked it up a month later. He never called and I could never get through, so I stopped in.I paid 275. I ended up getting it uncharged, so when I got home I had to charge it. The touch screen didn't work. I returned it , He said leave it and he would fix it. I waited a month, no word and couldn't get through to him. So every other week I would stop in. He said not ready he would get a hold of me when it was done. After back and forth for over four months, so this is 5 1/2 months since initial drop off, I tell him I just want my watch back and a refund. He refused to refund me.My only option is to keep waiting for him to fix. I said no. He said come next day to pick up watch. When I came next day during his open hours, door was locked and he was still not answering calls. Then 10 minutes after waiting at door I get a text to come in two days to get my watch. Doors never opened and a new client at the door was calling to drop off a phone. He left and we left. He must have had a camera. My son finally got his broken watch back and no refund. He and I talked over the phone and set up an appointment for that same night that my original appointment was scheduled for and he asked what my phone model was so he could make sure to have all the necessary tools out before I arrived.
