Good dinner. Our server was very attentive, and we enjoyed eating outside on the patio. The food was good but nothing life changing.

Cool spot to meet up with friends and hang. Clean with friendly bartenders. Their catered food was yummy too; Mexican style.

since it was bought out. It's a good brunch spot for sure. They have pretty good drink specials and the Benedict and scones are great. The pizza was super mid and not worth the money hence my 3 star review. It tasted like frozen. Of course the beer is fire and makes it all worth it. I'm very had the chilaquiles and it was great with a side of the chilli Colorado.

We sat outside at Squatters and ordered an espresso martini and a seasonal beer. The patio was really nice, and our server was great--he even brought out a custom-branded water bowl for Luna without us asking, which was such a thoughtful touch. He also brought water for us at the same time. Since Squatters is classified as a restaurant under state law, we had to order a food item in order to get drinks. We went with a $6 side of fries, though we didn't end up eating them since we had just had dinner. The food being served to other tables looked delicious, though, and the overall vibe made it a very enjoyable and dog-friendly stop.

Squatters is an SLC classic! The service is top tier and the food is so good! I've been for dinner and brunch and each time it is delicious! It is a good spot for beer, drinks and good food! A must go!

We sat at the bar and the bartender was very nice to give some info about their local spirits to help us decide what to get. Gotta love when places source locally. Got the pretzel since food is required to drink(silly Utah Laws) we enjoyed it and liked the variety of dippers. Drinks were great

    Corn Riblets excellent!

Had to return as their food is extremely good and very innovative as well. Staff is very friendly and you can tell they enjoy working there. Restaurant is a typical brew pub but also so much more. Do yourself a favor and stop by if you are in the area.

Easily made a reservation for a party of 15. They had great food and good selection of beer. My friends and I had a great time here. I highly recommend trying out their seasonal dishes. They were all so good and fun to try. There is paid parking right next to the brewery, which is always a plus one visiting the city.

    Interior is attractive.

It's a sports bar, of sorts, but really it's a restaurant that serves beer and allows kids to enter. That's a win in SLC. It calls itself a "pub brewery" which I guess is all true. Overall, the food was good. I highly recommend the burgers. I went with the classic cheeseburger and added bacon and it was delicious. The tots were great, of course, but the very strangely-shaped fries were outstanding. The server recommended the tots but the fries were much better. We also shared the cheese curds as an appetizer. They are impossible to dislike, here, there, or anywhere, in a box, with a fox, you get the idea. Unfortunately, the beer was pretty average. I think I've been spoiled by high ABV craft beers which generally have more flavor. You can get a flight of four beers here, which is nice. It would be even nicer, of course, if the beers had more flavor. You can get a higher ABV by ordering the beers offered in cans. Our server was friendly, attentive, and gave good recommendations (except for the tots over the fries). It's an attractive, family-friendly restaurant that has TVs, good burgers, and average beer. We had a good time.

We were ending out 5 day vacation in Salt Lake and we wanted something chill but good. I'm glad my husband found Squatters! We walked in and luckily enough for us, there was seating outside on the patio. It was such a nice little patio with plenty of shade! Our server was Luke and he was great. He had many tables but he gave each table a great amount of attention. We started with drinks and an appetizer. My husband had one of their IPA's and I have the Park City Sangria Punch. For appetizer we had the Ahi Spring Rolls. They were so good and cooked perfectly. The dipping sauces were also very good. My husband ordered the Great American Bison and I had the Ahi Street Tacos! They were both very good. We both enjoyed our time at Squatters and would recommend it to anyone traveling in the Salt Lake area.

We sat at the bar and had a very attentive bartender. Drinks were tasty and the food was good. Pricing was very reasonable as well. We would recommend this place when in SLC.

We had a great time on a snowy day and were greeted with a friendly smile when approaching the host podium. Our party of four was seated immediately and our server was attentive and checked in on our table multiple times. We ordered the jambalaya, Squatters club sandwich and burger. Fries and onions rings are cooked well. Ambiance was fun and festive. Good food and great service.

Whenever I am in town here in Salt Lake City, I always get the American bison burger! I'd say it's the best thing on the menu if you're a meat eater! And they have a really good selection of local craft beer!

Yes, they do; in fact, reservations are recommended during peak hours. Go to their website and there's a link right at the top for making reservations.

What time do they serve beer on Sunday?

The state law is 11:30 am, I'm assuming they would start at that time

Are we allowed to bring our dog to sit outside while we eat?

Can't imagine they'd oppose of a pup outside

Is this place lds kid friendly?

For brunch sure! In the evenings probably not so much.

After getting my last beer and finding a seat in the back, the shy bartender somehow found his courage to engage and serve other folks, so I naturally took it personally. The ambiance was nice in that it felt like an authentic brewery, not a restaurant that serves beer like some establishments closer to downtown. On a Tuesday, tacosdaddyfoodtruckslc was on the scene serving a brilliant smothered burrito, albeit a bit heavy on rice but still amazing. When I asked a bartender to compare and contrasts two beers, they did so lifelessly and unconvincingly without asking me first what I preferred. It reinforced my perception that the establishment is either low on customer service or selective in the welcoming of guests. I was the oldest person in the brewery at the time and I hope that had nothing to do with it. I was also concerned with their lack of descriptions on their brews, only presenting a name on a wall. A serious and reputable brewer will attempt to communicate their beer to aficionados and this lack of information made me question their commitment to the craft. These are all management issues and given that these deficiencies were outwardly obvious, it makes me wonder what other issues I would find with a little more time here. That said, I was here once and that's enough. Edit: I read the rest of the reviews and I am so happy to learn that their bad customer service, including ignoring customers, is legendary. I got suckered in by the high rating, while failing to read the one- and two-star reviews. I went to another brewery in the area yesterday and am off to have another there (cutting my time here short). I wish this place were better.

Ordering was kind of confusing because you had to wait in line instead of just walking up to the bar. One of the bartenders quickly explained it to us so we got in line. The line moved very quickly. Once we ordered our first beers, we sat at the bar and our bartender then took the rest of our orders while seated there. It seemed like once you ordered and established your seats, you could get waited on at your table but you had to order through the line first. There were 3 or 4 bartenders covering the bar and all the various seating areas. Our bartender was very attentive and we never had empty glasses before she was asking if we wanted another round. There was one time where she got side tracked and there was a very slight delay in bringing the next round for my wife and she profusely apologized and comped that round, but we didn't even notice the delay, to be honest. All the beers were great and the handmade pretzel from a place down the street was delicious. The tasting notes on their menu were spot on for the 5 or 6 beers we tried. They have a lot of seating in the main area and large patio in the back that were both pretty crowded, which is why we sat at the bar. We later found out about their "barrel room" that is in the back behind all the brewing equipment. One of the bar backs said it was a more laidback and quiet area. We peaked back there before we left and had we known about it, we would have sat back there because it's exactly like how it was described. The only issue I have unfortunately at this visit was I was trying to grab a glass to take home with me. However, there was a huge line for people to get carded so the front desk guy wanted to card them in first. That was understandable as that created a huge line and backed up the front door. However, someone came behind me with cans so he let them pay first and by the time they finish paying, more people were coming in to get carded. He decided to card them instead of letting me purchase a glass . So at that time I had just left instead of waiting for the continuous cycle of getting carded I'm having to further wait.
