Love this location and ambiance! I was sat outside on the front patio and it took 10 minutes for a server to come to my table, I was just about to go back to hostess and ask. I ordered everything right away and service was then really quick. The half salad came out super fast before my drink even. The salad was good and perfect portion. I got the August special pizza which was peach. It was very tasty, thinly cut peaches, bacon, goat cheese, and pistachios. It is wood fired so the middle is floppy/soft.

Ordered the elk burger and the canyon pizza! The burger tasted great, I loved how it was not greasy. Lots of good flavor. I always enjoy the canyon pizza and I always recommend it to people trying this place for the first time!

Tried this place on a whim the other night, Ruth's Diner next door was closed, and i was so glad I did! This was a cool brewery with amazing views! A little more on the expensive side, but worth it! Options to sit outside or inside, the mountains and weather this time of year are amazing, so we chose outside. It is very cute inside and out, string lights, music, all around great place to relax. I tried the seasonal cider, some sort of apricot and thyme pairing, and loved it so much I ended up drinking 2! My girlfriends and I split the Amalfi pizza, it came with mushrooms, sundried tomato, pesto, all my favorites. I loved the pizza, light and thin style. Our server, Sydney, was so friendly and helpful. We had a great time laughing with her & enjoying the night! I will definitely be back, great vibes & food up the canyon, perfect Utah spot!

Not your typical brewery... elevated and a little more upscale. Beautiful scenery, great outdoor ambiance with the river running along the front of the restaurant. Definitely recommend making a reservation, we had almost an hour wait and walk-ins were not really welcomed (busy Saturday night). Service was great! We loved the drinks and pull apart bread. Sauce on the baby back ribs was a nice Asian sauce which was different and really good.

We were excited to try this place but our whole experience was a letdown. We won't be back or recommend. We looked up the menu before we went and everything we wanted to order the waitress told us wasn't good -- and while we appreciated her honesty, we were disappointed. We ended up ordering three of the things she did recommend and they were good, but not great. The special was a NY strip and that was the best item ordered by anyone at the table (we had a group of 12). Several people ended up ordering pizza. The service was just ok. Kinda slow and our waitress didn't seem to like her job. Getting the bill took a while. It was so loud inside and made it difficult to have a conversation at our own table.

We had a tough week and were not planning on going out for Christmas Eve but decided at the last minute that maybe we deserved some happiness and Christmas cheer after all. I grabbed an available 6 PM reservation on a whim and having never been here before, just tacitly hoped for the best. This experience could not have been more perfect. The atmosphere was upscale mountain contemporary, which was warm and inviting. Relaxing, instrumental-only Christmas music played in the background while a fire roared in the lobby. Our server, Ben, had a much better attitude about working on Christmas Eve than I ever could. He was friendly, knowledgeable and just the right level of attentive without making us feel the slightest bit rushed. We started off with cocktails, the Emigration old fashioned and King's Crown were both excellent. Ben then helped us select a red wine to pair with our pizza and we were on our way. The food was fantastic. Everything was delicious and well thought out. We sampled the poblano soup special with crab, the beet salad and canyon pizza, which had pistachios and dried cherries, which was so unique and enjoyable. We finished out an unexpectedly perfect evening with their outstanding pistachio cheesecake and a couple of aperitifs. The pistachio cheesecake was truly exceptional and well worth the $16.00 price tag and probably 1500 calories that this cost. Thank you to everyone at Emigration Brewing for making our Christmas Eve.

Excellent brunch, extra attentive and friendly service, in a great environment. We were able to celebrate Grandma's 95th here, with 20 people for brunch. The staff was excellent (even put her cake in the cooler for us) while we enjoyed our brunch. Drinks all came out extremely fast, and were all delicious. The food took about 15-20 minutes but was worth the wait. Highly recommend their lattes, Chicken & Biscuit, and burgers. Also the millionaire bacon is fantastic. We really appreciate the excellent service and great food, and will definitely be back.

I forget how much I love Emigration Brewing until I'm sitting on their outdoor patio, sipping on a cider, and munching on their ceviche. The atmosphere is picturesque, the staff always acts cool but collected, and the food is delicious. I really like their seasonal rotating menu -- there's always something new to enjoy.

Emigration Brewing is one of my favorite restaurants in the area. This is the perfect place to celebrate a special occasion or to bring a friend after picking them up from the airport. The food is incredible and the location is unforgettable. I love hearing the sounds of nature while enjoying a delicious meal. Their cheesy garlic bread is something I dream about and seasonally they have an apple turnover that is OUT OF THIS WORLD. Their bread pudding is pretty amazing too.

Really enjoy this place. Great location with the mountains in the background. Great outdoor patio area. We ordered some of their cheese bread, a couple of pizzas and ribs. All was very good. Sadly, I didn't think of taking pictures until the desserts came. Would definitely recommend coming, drinking, ordering a few things and sharing.

We came here for brunch. The portion sizes were big. The food looked very nice on the plate. My favorite were the potatoes and the dipping sauces were really good. Sadly, they didn't have a kids menu.

We visited at least two, during our four days in SLC. This one was the first: a cathedral-style brewpub with a sports bar aesthetic, with decent food, decent drinks, decent service, and decent prices. Everything was decent. You're not likely to be disappointed by anything you order, but you're not likely to be blown away by anything, either (another thing Squatters has in common with McMenamins, I'd say). During our second visit (to another location, but I'm sure the same rule applies), our party was only interested in ordering drinks (one per person, mind you), but we were informed that we *had* to order some sort of food to accompany them (I'm sure this is more of a Utah thing, rather than a Squatter's thing, but still annoying), so bear that in mind if you're looking for a place to just chill with a beverage and watch a game. Still, the vibe here is lively and friendly; assuming your server is as well, which was a coin flip, in our experience. For a fast, casual chain of brewpubs, Squatters has a lot going for it, and I can see why they are popular, as clearly as I can see ways in which they can improve. A little more focus, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence, and Squatters could absolutely dominate in SLC, and beyond.

At Whiskey Street, I had two issues: I ordered a salad and it never arrived. My wagyu steak came out and I was irritated that the salad hadn't come first. But then the salad didn't come at all. Bummer. And the steak was questions all around. First they didn't know what cut of steak it was. "It's Wagyu" they said, as if all that mattered was where it came from. And just to make sure I wasn't an idiot, I looked up to make sure that Wagyu, like other beef, had various cuts. And the meal was rather salty. And the steak was far closer to rare than medium. And it was served au poivre style, which I would have like to have known. Service was excellent. The Scottish Old-Fashioned excellent. The libation selection is unparalleled. What makes a good Benedict is the sauce and this one didn't disappoint. Usually I ask that the sauce be on the side but this time I forgot and trust me, that was ok. One of the best I've had that even made a great compliment to the very tasty potatoes. Don't worry, the potatoes were great on their own! Nice touch of flavor, soft inside and crisp outside. However, someone came behind me with cans so he let them pay first and by the time they finish paying, more people were coming in to get carded. He decided to card them instead of letting me purchase a glass . So at that time I had just left instead of waiting for the continuous cycle of getting carded I'm having to further wait. Hopefully when things are busy, they will have someone to help out carting people in. Otherwise fantastic brewery.
