Very dishonest. I always have problems here where they will charge more than advertised, or they just won't offer the basic services because they want to upsell. I just went for the last time, after telling the guy several times I wanted the $10 basic wash, he told me he'd only do the $40 wash because my car was "too dirty". I told him I didn't care if it was dirty, I just wanted the $10 basic wash. over and over, but he would only do the $40 wash. So finally I had to actually reverse and back up out of line because this dude refused to do the advertised service I ordered, because it was too cheap for him. Beware of their marketing scams. Months ago they promoted paying an extra $10 for unlimited washes for that month. When you agreed to that for the month, they on their end, sign you up for a membership in which they charge you monthly. There is no notification about it. Very Very Poor Service My friend drove to the Elmont Hempstead location with me. I paid $30.00 which should cover wash, polishing, tires. It took literally 15-20 minutes when they were done the entire top of the SUV was dirty the tires were not cleaned just sprayed to look shiny the inside was not cleaned. When my friend and I complained the worker stated that they do not clean the top of cars if the brush doesn't clean it. $2 or more to clean the tires what a rip off I will never ever go there again and I will advise people not to take there car there. I have gone to this car wash for years, not because the wash was so great but because they are convenient, but today is my last time. The man at the front was trying to convenience me to take the most expensive car wash. I had that done only a few days ago and just needed some flowers and bird poop removed from my hood. He told me it couldn't be done and escorted me to leave. I explained to him that I wanted the basic car wash and then he complied. What a headache at 8:30 in the morning. Pushing for high cost service but this car wash is not worth it. You still have to go home and dry your vehicle properly and almost redo everything. They were convenient but I will not spend my money at a business that is rude to its customers and try to shake them down to spend more money! And on top of that they scratched the top of my hood. On the 7th of march I went to the car wash. I was hesitate at first because I was not happy in the past. I met the new manager which was a pleasant person and I let him know my concerns. He took the time to hear me and suggested that I returned to him if i was not happy with the service. I was extremely satisfied with the service and I went back to the manager to let me know. Also mentioned that the workers were new faces and all were very professional. I was also impressed with the $27 promotion( package) plan which I plan to join next week. Love the fact that I can wash my car as many times that I want for the month. I really like this new Manager and I feel he is doing an excellent job. PLEASE DO NOT COME HERE FOR A CAR WASH. Yesterday, I had came in for my weekly car wash. I have requested a service after 7:00 PM which is supposed to be half the price. The gentleman at the front told me the price was $21 since I didn't have the dollar, I give him $40, expecting a least $19 back. He refused to give me my change and insisted on rolling back the camera. Once I agreed, on rolling back the cameras he started retrieving back on going back on the cameras to check the amount that was given. When I refuse to leave until I get my change, he kept taunting me by banging on my window. even though my car is over 14 years old I went and paid for the graphene diamond wash $34 bucks.and when I went inside the car my windows weren't cleaned and seems like my interior wasn cleaned also. I did see them vac but they only took like 10 minutes you figure $34 car wash would give least 20 minutes of cleaning inside and out. I've been coming here for at least five years with very little issues. But recently they've been problematic. Charging fees and refusing service for stupid reasons. I was charged $10 extra for bird poop on the hood that they had to scrub off with a brush. Then they straight up turned away my Jeep with Thule evo roof racks saying the racks would damage their brushes leading to more frequent replacements. What's next? Gonna charge me extra for snow on the car? Thought this was gonna be my neighborhood car wash cuz they're close and does a decent job for the price. I got the basic exterior car wash on 5/1/2022 and it was fine. No damage to the car from the machines. There were a couple spots on the glass that were missed but I pointed them out and they cleaned it. I went there for a car wash. I get their highest level. It's $23. I give a $40. He gives me the money, but obviously it's a conveyor moving belt, so I go through, not checking the change at that second. I then go to the Home Depot. I come back, realizing they gave me $12 instead of the $17 they owe me. I ask that piece of sh*t idiot manager/owner who is collecting the cash, for my $5. He refuses to give it. FIVE DOLLARS. I normally give places the benefit of the doubt, and my family used to come here years back and an excellent job was done. I should've taken the fact that back in the day they had a whole line to get into the car wash during rush hour and had not a soul now as a sign. If you had fifteen minutes and a gas station vacuum you could probably do a better job than this place and saved yourself some money. There were many visible specks of dirt and stains in my car. It was like they didn't even try and ran the vacuum over really fast. They were done with the interior 5 minutes after my car went through the exterior car wash. Never have I had my car clean from the interior by them but I have for the exterior. I see all the bad reviews but for the $7.95 late night wash I don't really have complaints. Yes it's a drive in car wash and they wipe it down a bit at the end, come spray your tries and wipe a little more if needed. The wash isn't spic and span meaning the best thing around but the employees have been decent to me. It could truly be that they love my classic truck that gives appeal or they are truly just nice. If you need a exterior clean for cheap at night I would say come thru...if you want a spotless immaculate clean go look somewhere else. One plus is they are open 24 hours! There's a reason this car wash only has 2 stars. I've been to this car wash a handful of times with no issues, until today. I was told my car was ready and since I have a white car, it makes stains more noticeable. While inspecting, I noticed the stains were still on my car and that the interior was not wiped down or vacuumed which I paid the highest service to receive. While explaining to the men who were working about the stains and wipe down, one man just walked away. I went inside asking for a manager or supervisor, but the cashier told me they were not available and he/she stepped out and he is unaware of when they'd be returning. He offered to re run the car in the washer. After washing, I purposefully stood and watched my car get wiped down inside and out as well as vacuumed. There were many wet and dirt spots that I had to point out even though they were very visible. When pointing out the stains of bird poop, I was told it can't be taken out and that they tried. Keep in mind, I was standing there and can confirm that they did not try taking the stain out at all. I went back inside to inform the cashier that I wanted a refund or credit in which he proceeded to say they don't provide refunds then called the police. Since it wasn't a criminal matter, I'm not too sure why the police were called - yet again, wasting the departments resources on non criminal matters. I write this to say, when I got home, I got a microfiber cloth and wet it with soap and water and was able to get the stains out with a small amount of pressure. I will NOT be coming back to this car wash and I strongly do not recommend other customers get their cars washed here as well. The level of disrespect shown to a paying customer was uncanny and uncalled for. Don't get me wrong, the customer is not always right, but a car should most definitely be cleaned properly. In the end, the police agreed with me that this was not a criminal matter and understood my frustration and disappointment. I'm sure if the manager was there, a solution would've been brought to me. I've contacted the owners, Gary & Karen Sloan, and hope to hear back. I will take my business elsewhere and hire a mobile car cleaning service - you surely get your moneys worth with them. read more
