Amy's Clean Team - This was just random items scattered around the room but Amy's team organized it with a cute touch.

    Amy's Clean Team

    (100 reviews)

DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT HIRE AMY'S CLEAN TEAM!…read more After the initial walkthrough of my home, Amy quoted me $400 for a deep clean ($500 if they removed my son's knickknacks from dresser/shelves) & $175 for a basic clean every 2-3 weeks. I communicated that I wanted a deep clean to start & would then decide whether I wanted to continue with services. I left my home in a relatively tidy condition so the cleaners could focus their time on actually deep cleaning. I did mention to them that the bathroom was the dirtiest room in the house. Unfortunately, it felt as though they looked at my home & decided it was "good enough" rather than putting in the effort & attention expected of a professional deep clean. The bathroom was NOT cleaned at all. The shower walls & floors were still dirty, soap scum on the glass doors & water stains on shower trim, dirty around the toilet bowl, toiletries that had not been wiped down or cleaned, dirty sink, hair on the walls & floor, dust underneath the sink cabinet, floors & baseboards that had not been wiped down. See pics for reference, I had close to 50 pics of all areas left uncleaned but could only upload 20. Unfortunately, entire areas throughout my home were also left untouched, including the baseboards, fans, bookshelves, back of lamps, underneath the bed & the kitchen, dining room & living room floors not mopped. The entire house was left feeling almost exactly as I had left it, tidy, NOT deep cleaned. When I expressed my disappointment, Amy's initial response was "Really?" The following day, the focus shifted to the fact that 3 cleaners had supposedly worked "hard" for 3.5 hours, when they had actually had been there for only 3 hours. I understand they spent several hours in my home, but time spent does not equal quality of work. I thought I was going to pay for a thorough, professional deep clean & expected the level of quality that comes with that service. Unfortunately, I received neither the quality nor the results. Amy offered to resolve the situation by asking whether I was looking for a "discount." To be clear, I was not asking for any "discount" at all & to think that I wanted to "pay less" for half butt work. Given the condition my home was left in & the quality of the work performed by the general manager, Kerstyn & the two other cleaners, I believe this cleaning should have been offered completely FREE. Instead, Amy stood by her negligent cleaning crew & "apologized that they didn't meet my standards." Wow. Despite this, I voluntarily agreed to pay $175, the amount originally quoted for a basic cleaning, even though the service provided was far from what I would consider a basic cleaning. I did this in good faith rather than refusing payment altogether. Unfortunately, once Amy received payment, she ended communication. There was no meaningful follow up, accountability or genuine effort to address my concerns, even after texting her 2 days after everything saying "Hey Amy, please give me a call. I was actually expecting a call from you yesterday so we could talk. I've come across so much more uncleaned areas in my home that you need to be aware of. Please do the right thing & call me back." After being quoted $400 for a deep clean & having what felt like the bare minimum actually done, how could I not feel taken advantage of? I thought I was going to pay for a professional deep cleaning, yet significant areas of my home were left untouched. Whether intentional or not, the experience left me feeling like I had paid for a service I simply did not receive... & ultimately, I feel scammed. DO BETTER AMY!!

Her team did a great job and went beyond by taking extra time cleaning things I didn't know could be so clean. I work a lot so having a deep clean service like this occasionally is very helpful. SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY…read more I honestly hate to leave bad reviews especially for a small business but I have to, to help anyone else avoid a similar situation. There's better cleaning and more professional services out there- if you love your home, don't settle for this or you'll be disappointed like I was. I've used this service one time before today and this second time I've confirmed, never again. Standards of cleaning are OK to be honest. There is generally no care or attention to detail- which is something you really want when getting your home cleaned. But because they keep dropping business cards on my door, I caved in to try them one more time. This morning they showed up and after greeting everyone, all I asked was for no shoes in my white carpeted bedroom. They can keep their shoes on everywhere else. I even suggested they cover their shoes if they don't want to take their shoes off completely. They agreed and proceeded to begin cleaning while I went to get changed for work. 2 minutes later, I hear a knock on my bedroom door and when I came to the door, two of the ladies had already left my apartment and Rita just said "because you have an issue with our shoes, we won't be doing the cleaning and we are leaving." No discussion. Super shocked at this level of y professionalism and service. If the issue was taking off the shoes, why couldn't they at least clean the kitchen, living room or bathrooms? Why didn't they have shoes covers or put some on to be able to clean the bedroom? Leaving without any discussion or offer to find a middle ground was extremely unprofessional. Will gladly never try this business again. Ps- please make sure you have workers compensation insurance to make sure your employees are protected on the job, rather than just leave and message "due to liability issues...we don't take shoes off on carpets"...? Makes no sense. I hope this business actually improves from this feedback, but I'm not that hopeful because I see similar complaints from years ago online.

On top of that, one of our fast fur babies got to a couple of screens while the windows were open, and put her nails right through them. The other 24+ year-old screens were worn with age. We asked Justin to replace all of them, 5 with pet screens and the others with regular screens. He communicated quickly through Yelp messaging. We had a few questions; Justin patiently and thoroughly answered each one. Scheduling the appointment was easy. Justin showed up on time. He explained what he was going to do beforehand. Even though some of our windows are bigger and he needed more material, he did not charge extra. Our windows are so clean that it looks like there isn't even glass on them! The screens look great too. After he left, we did notice that one of the pet screens was bowed a little, causing a gap between the screen and window frame. We text Justin and he came back the next day to fix it. We offered to pay him for the return trip, but he said it was his oversight and would not take any extra payment. The cost of the work is more than fair, his pricing is lower than some of the other companies we contacted. We will definitely have Justin come back regularly for window cleaning - not waiting years to do it again.
