Yesterday, Sunday, Info Center showed the car was operating at Reduced Acceleration - Drive with Care. Code was reduced oil pressure. Call dealership at open Monday morning, Was told to bring car in right away and the would swap out with a loaner. While checking in at dealer, was told they are 30 days out and they will squeeze in at some point. Kicker was they want to charge me $48 per day for loaner until they can verify there is an issue. Called Weber Chevrolet and Bommarito GMC and was told to bring car, they would get in right away and provide a loaner. Guess where we will be buying future vehicles and having service done. We went there on a Saturday morning and were approached by Andrew. We talked about what we were looking for and he got a vehicle for us to test drive. We weren't fans of the first one. We told Andrew what we did and didn't like. He brought out another vehicle to test. We loved it! When we got back, we started the process of buying it. That process always takes longer than we like, but we don't have to do it very often! We did everything that Andrew needed and then we had to wait for the finance guy. We were paying cash and were not purchasing an extended warranty that day. That didn't matter - we still had to wait and go through the process. Grant was the finance guy. He did go through everything quickly after we told him where stood on the warranty issue. He was pleasant and very efficient. I love my new vehicle! Andrew called four days later to see if everything was okay and to see if I had any questions. I highly recommend this dealership and Andrew and Grant!

A guy named Dave looked up the price based on the make, model, and engine type and said it was coming up as $713 including labor which could change but would be somewhere around that price. I asked which towing coming they recommended and had it towed there. After it got there they did a diagnostic and said that it would be about $1500 including the tow; they had to replace the battery for the diagnostic and the alternator would be a bit more than $1000. I asked why the alternator was so much since I had talked to Dave earlier and he said it would be around $713. The guy on the phone said Dave prolly didn't realize that it was a car with a computer system--but that was a lie since Dave looked it up based on the make, model, and engine type. He then put me on hold and came back and said "the boss" says that Dave told me it would be between $700 and $1600 which was also a blatant lie. In the end they ended up replacing the alternator for a somewhat high but fairly reasonable price but the ease with which they lied about it all was infuriating and they do not seem trustworthy whatsoever

Their prices are excessively high, and they attempted to impose unnecessary charges. They tried to bill me $300 for an oil change after they went to the back to 'fix' it. Additionally, they charged me for 7 quarts of oil when my vehicle only requires 4.2, and they added a $20 fee simply because they felt entitled to do so and another charge for "some sort" of additive that I didn't ask for they probably even didn't do the additive. They claimed it was for shop supplies, yet there was another charge for the actual supplies. I suppose they are billing me for the towels used to clean their dirty hands. Those who leave positive reviews are likely unaware of the scam and simply comply with it; they even impose a 3% fee for card payments as if it's 1999. These are the kind of people who WILL intentionally damage your vehicle just to ensure you return. I had to make two calls to check if my car was ready, as no one in the shop seemed to know its status. It could have remained there overnight if I hadn't called at the last moment. These people are criminals.

I brought my vehicle in for a simple oil change, and when it was returned after being washed, the car's antenna was missing. I discovered this when I got home and immediately called their service department multiple times. Instead of taking responsibility and fixing the problem, they refused to replace it. To make matters worse, the service manager, Shannon, has been blatantly avoiding my calls, even after I left several voicemails explaining the situation. This is unprofessional, disrespectful, and shows a complete lack of accountability and basic customer service. I usually go to Dave Mungenast and have never had issues like this there. Due to scheduling conflicts, I decided to give this place a chance for my last two visits. That was clearly a mistake. I will never return to this service center again, and I would strongly caution others to think twice before trusting them with their vehicle.

It took Niebling a month (and a week past their original completion date) to replace my back passenger window, wiper blade control stick, and some basic steering column parts. The first excuse was their holiday hours, then it became waiting on parts and receiving faulty ones. Stacy told me in the front office that she would stay in contact during the process-I never heard from her unless I reached out. When I finally spoke to her, she never knew what was going on with my car and gave vague answers. Additionally, she was very unprofessional during one phone call, answering with a rude "hello," which made me think I had called the wrong number. She also claimed she called and left a voicemail, but I have no missed call or voicemail from her. Our phones weren't the issue because the week before, her coworker Anthony returned my call and left a voicemail that I could see, and I had no issues receiving it. In his voicemail, he said he thought his coworker had already updated me and apologized for the miscommunication. I spoke to three different people throughout this process, asking each what was wrong with my car and which parts needed to be ordered. None of them gave a clear answer, so I finally contacted my insurance, who was happy to tell me exactly what parts needed ordering and provided a copy of the estimate, which I never received from Niebling until I picked up and paid for my vehicle. Now that I have my car back, the air doesn't push through the vents properly, which was NOT an issue before. I should take my car back to Niebling for this fix, but I don't trust them, and I can't afford another rental car for another month while they fix their mistake. Niebling has only added stress during an already stressful time. I will not return, nor will I recommend anyone use their services. It's a shame because they have great reviews, are local, and have been in STL for a very long time. The only positive comment I have is that they detailed my car inside and out.
