    Sonya M.

After 18 years, I was finally ready to trade in my 2005 Corolla. I'd been looking for a new 2023 Corolla SE for about a year when I stumbled upon one in the color I wanted on the (main) Toyota website. I called Ackerman to inquire about the car and was transferred to a salesman named Ryan O'Leary. During the past year, I spoke with nearly a dozen car salesmen in both Illinois and Indiana. I'd been told by multiple salesmen that Toyota wasn't currently taking custom orders due to the global chip shortage caused by the pandemic. I had my heart set on having the Celestite exterior color with the moonstone interior. Most of the cars I'd seen had the black and red interior, which I didn't find appealing. Many of the salesmen I spoke with told me I'd either have to compromise on the interior/exterior color or possibly pick a different model car entirely. They claimed I'd have to wait at least a year for a car unless I was more flexible. One guy even tried to get me to the dealership to run a credit check just so he could talk me into buying something that they had on the lot. I didn't want to settle, so I was starting to think that I should either pick another car manufacturer altogether or that I should maybe stop looking for a car entirely. I'd waited 18 years up to that point, so what's a few more years? Needless to say, by the time I spoke with Ryan, I was nearly ready to give up. However, Ryan ended up being a breath of fresh air. He was direct, seemingly honest, and affable. I was never married to a particular dealership or salesperson during my search and figured whomever ended up getting a sale from me would simply get lucky. Well, that day happened to be Ryan's lucky day. I liked him and appreciated how he took his time explaining things to me and answering all of my questions. He also never pressured me into anything, which went a long way with me. Ryan told me that the other salespeople who told me they couldn't order a car were lazy. He explained how he could search inventory nationwide and how inventory was allotted to dealerships. He explained that there were 3 cars currently available in the colors I desired. (Initially, I wanted the two-tone roof) There were 9 cars in Celestite (not two-tone), which he said would probably be more attainable. He explained that local dealerships don't control their own websites. The websites are maintained by Toyota corporate, and oftentimes, the inventory on the dealership websites was inaccurate because the cars listed were already sold. He said that cars were sold before they even hit the website. By happenstance, Ryan said Ackerman had just been allotted three Corolla SEs two hours prior to my call. He said one of the cars was in Celestite. He urged me to consider putting a deposit down on the car sooner rather than later if I wanted it because it probably wouldn't be available for long. I thought about it for maybe 30 minutes before calling Ryan back and putting down a $500 non-refundable deposit. Ryan explained the process going forward and how long I'd have to wait until the car was delivered. During the three week waiting period he kept me abreast of all of the pertinent developments and explained that I could finance online prior to the car being delivered thus shaving the time I'd have to spend at the dealership considerably. I drove from Chicago to Ackerman on a Saturday. Ryan greeted me upon arrival and showed me the car. He started the initial paperwork before I eventually met with Ackerman's business manager, Mike. Mike was efficient and thorough... he went over the sales contract and answered all the questions I had. He also explained how the Toyota warranty worked, went over the paint protection package, and some other details. The process was fairly quick and painless. I was surprised that buying a car could actually be such a pleasant experience. I ended up only being at the dealership for about two hours. Before I left, Ryan took the time to explain all the features in the car. It was a lot to take in since I'd been driving something akin to the (Flintstones) Cavemobile! Lol One thing that set Ackerman apart from some of the other Toyota dealerships is the fact that they didn't sell the car for a penny over MSRP. One dealership in Chicago was selling the same car for 5k over MSRP just because they could. (They claimed it was due to the chip shortage and production delays) IMO, taking advantage of potential customers isn't a good look. So Ackerman had that going for them from the start... Ryan, being a gem, sealed the deal. I had a good feeling about him and decided that he would be the one to get the sale from me no matter what. After talking to so many other salesmen, he truly went above and beyond to set himself apart from the others seemingly without even trying. I'd recommend Ackerman Toyota to anyone looking for a Toyota as my experience was top-notch from beginning to end.

I felt judged by multiple staff members, because my ID wouldn't scan. They treated me like I had a fake ID or something which was pretty funny because I provided my insurance as well and they still had to talk their manager into "letting" me take a test drive. Safe to say, I won't be buying a car from this location or company anytime this century.

I came one evening after just making an appointment maybe thirty minutes beforehand, and I was connected with Raphael. There were two cars that I was interested in, and while one of them wasn't available at the time, I was able to look at the other car I was interested in; the other was at another Enterprise location and not on site at the time. I would have liked an offer to test drive the car I saw, but I acknowledge I arrived here about fifteen minutes before the place closed, which is a little late perhaps. Raphael is a great conversationalist, and after the we met he followed up with me and even let me know when the other car I was interested in was available for viewing/test driving. I will say that he's not the best at remembering our conversations since he called me back more than once after I told him I would need a while before I got back to him, but he's overall friendly and professional. At this point though I had already seen another car in the area that was more competitively priced than Enterprise's, but I'll definitely keep Enterprise in mind for future business.

My wife and I recently had an exceptional car-buying experience as a result of Wade Sandrell, our…read moresalesperson who exemplifies what customer service should be at a top-notch level. It was pleasure of purchasing our new high-end Toyota hybrid from Jay Wolfe Toyota, and we can say without hesitation that this was an exceptional experience from beginning to end. What truly distinguished this purchase was the professionalism, character, attentiveness, and genuine care demonstrated by our salesperson, Wade Sandrell. From the moment my wife and I walked into the dealership, Wade Sandrell consistently gave us his undivided attention, patience, and personal commitment. That level of attentiveness continued throughout the entire process, including the approximately four-month wait while our high-end hybrid Toyota was being manufactured at a Toyota production facility. Of course anyone who has ordered a highly sought-after vehicle understands that waiting several months can create uncertainty and anticipation. Wade remained engaged, communicative, professional, and reassuring throughout that entire period. What impressed us most, however, was that Wade's excellence went far beyond simply selling us a vehicle. His genuine way of being, personal values, integrity, character, and commitment to his customers were evident throughout our entire experience. He wasn't simply focused on completing a transaction. He focused on building a relationship, understanding our expectations, answering our questions, paying attention to the smallest details, and making certain that we felt valued every step of the way; that distinction mattered. In fact, Wade Sandrell made the difference in our decision to spend our money at Jay Wolfe Toyota rather than returning to the Lexus or Mercedes-Benz dealerships we have purchased from in the past. When customers have options and especially when they are considering premium and luxury brands, the experience surrounding the purchase can be just as important as the vehicle itself based on our interactions. Wade, on behalf of the Jay Wolfe Toyota dealership earned our business through trust, professionalism, and genuine customer care. His personable approach, attention to detail, responsiveness, patience, and ability to establish a meaningful customer relationship were truly outstanding. He demonstrated that exceptional salesmanship isn't about applying pressure or simply closing a deal. It is about listening, understanding, communicating, serving, and building trust. From a customer's perspective, Wade Sandrell is a model for what a vehicle salesperson should aspire to be and emulate. He represents the type of employee every dealership should want representing its brand. We would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to the Finance Director at Jay Wolfe Toyota. The finance portion of purchasing a new vehicle was thorough, but it was not complicated or stressful, and the entire process was handled with exceptional professionalism and precision. The financial requirements were seamless, organized, transparent, and efficient, helping ensure that the purchase of our new vehicle proceeded smoothly from beginning to completion. My wife and I also appreciated the information and guidance regarding preventative maintenance and available options designed to help us keep our new vehicle in pristine condition, dependable operation, and long-term operational readiness with a high regards for safety. Such level of follow-through reinforced our confidence that our relationship with the Jay Wolfe Toyota dealership extends well beyond the day we drove our new vehicle off the lot. We are immensely appreciative of the dealership owner, our salesperson, Wade Sandrell, the finance director, and the entire Jay Wolfe Toyota organization for the exceptional new vehicle purchasing experience and leadership demonstrated. If you are considering purchasing a Toyota, we highly recommend giving Jay Wolfe Toyota an opportunity to earn your Our five-star rating is easy to give and thoroughly desIerved.

These folks have no clue what they're doing, especially the service department. What a bunch of clowns! I called the day before to schedule an appointment for an oil change. When the person booked the appointment, they made note of the make, model and year of my car, which is a 2020 Mercedes Benz CLS53 AMG. When I showed up to the appointment, the service manager told me it might be awhile because they didn't have the correct oil and filter on-hand for my car. He made a call to someone and they said they could have the correct products there in short time, so I stayed. Then, I mentioned to the service representative that when I bought the car from Toyota of Cedar Park in Texas, I purchased a "Prepaid Maintenance Plan" (PMP) through "Toyota Auto Care" for $1000 that was supposed to cover oil changes and tire rotations for 36mo/40kmi. but could ONLY be used at Toyota dealerships. She asked me to email her the contract, which I did. At the same time I purchased the PMP through Toyota Auto Care, I paid nearly $6000 for a "Mechanical Breakdown Service Contract" (MBSC) through APEX that covers everything else outside of regular maintenance, like oil changes. Both, the PMP and the MBSC contracts are included in the same PDF file that I emailed to the service rep at Jay Wolfe Toyota. A short time later, here comes the Service Manager to inform me that he "Called Toyota and they said that I only have a Mechanical Breakdown Service Contract and that it does not cover oil changes." Knowing that was incorrect, I asked for my car back and left. I immediately called Toyota of Cedar Park and spoke to a service rep who promptly checked their system and confirmed that it shows TWO SEPARATE CONTRACTS, one was the PMP and the other the MBSC, and that, YES, the PMP does cover oil changes and tire rotations. They have no clue why other Toyota dealers (yes, I have now been to more than one and the 2nd dealership experience was even worse!) aren't getting it. I wouldn't recommend Jay Wolfe Toyota to anyone for anything.
