New phone, who dis?…read more The American Girl Place has quietly moved to a new home on the other side of the mall, next to Barnes and Noble and it's truly what little girl dreams are made of. That being said, as someone who has experienced their original location which had two floors AND a cafe, the new spot is truly missing some of that je ne sais quoi that made the store a magical world for girls. All dolls and accessories are now placed behind glass display cases (although I did see a small bitty baby section that was playable) and everything seems a little more sterile and transactional now. They still have a doll salon, albeit smaller. My daughter's did not really seem to notice the difference as they were just happy to make their purchases... but as someone who knows what could have been ... this really hits hard!

Even if you don't buy something at Rumi Life, your bound to enjoy something you might not have seen or knew existed before. The place is pretty busy now, but the employees are doing what they can to keep things organized and assist guests to the store. The employees may not smile, but they should be approachable. I don't see much of Kuromi in this store this time. The Hello Kitty merchandise does spring up from time to time. I have started taking a liking to the Kuromi collection, but haven't bought anything yet. It's just a matter of time. There is one big thing you should know. The stuff here is nice to look at, but if you buy something here, THERE ARE NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES. ALL SALES ARE FINAL. Please remember this if you come here to shop.

Target is located right in the middle of the Mosaic District. You can go around to restaurants, shops, and come here for your groceries. This location is a one place stop for all your shopping needs. I usually stay at the hotel down the street. This place has been a great help whenever I am in town. Everyone is super friendly and everything is easy to find. On the first floor there is a gelato shop which always has long lines. On the other side there is an entrance to Rasa. You can grab a quick bowl of Indian food to fill you up. If not, as soon as you go outside there are several restaurants filled with large crowds. This is a fun place to hang out. The Mosaic District is a great place to spend your weekend. I love this place and make sure to come here whenever I can.

Shortly afterward, we overheard them laughing about the fact that we had believed them. This behavior was highly unprofessional and demonstrated a lack of honesty, respect, and customer service. Customers should be able to trust that employees will provide accurate information and assistance when needed. If employees are intentionally misleading customers and then mocking them afterward, it reflects poorly on the store and the Target brand. I hope management investigates this incident and takes appropriate corrective action to ensure customers are treated with professionalism and respect.

No worries, the girls were sweet as can be. They had a lot of fun things to peruse. There were several bare card shelves so I don't know if they were getting rid of them or just changing out stock but no biggie. I was looking for a little gift for a baptism and found a beautiful little angel that was holding a malachite stone for protection - perfect! At the register I saw the much talked about Dubai chocolate bar that I had always wanted to try so I coughed up the $25 & splurged lol. I can say that I'm glad I tried it but sadly I was not blown away or even mildly impressed but super happy for the opportunity to try it!

The guy on the floor helped me find what I needed and explained where some other items were located. Checkout was fantastic. The young man asked fun, holiday themed questions. He was delightful! Downloading is the new method of getting what you want, or listen to it on YouTube. Today, the main reason to visit the store was to use the bathrooms. Normally, Barns&Nobles aren't know for clean bathrooms. Today I was happy to see the men's bathroom were clean. Some toilet paper was on each side of a toilet and one stall had the remnants off processed food in the bowl, but otherwise clean. The ladies bathroom wasn't so nice for my wife. Probably someone didn't bother flushing after their daily deposit. Nevertheless, It has been a while since I was here. I might come back next week to look up some new books to read. Speaking of reading. I remember Barns&Nobles getting rid of the Pornograpy Magazines, but today I saw one name brand that is still standing. PENTHOUSE. Yes, one of the first Porongrapic magazines that got my attention as a teenager. Now that I think about it, I see the hair styles of the 90's that considered cool, but most guys did not care about that. I am rambling here, but it was amusing to see the two different styles of the same brand in the store. Penthouse Letters and Penthouse are the two brands. One probably has more reading if you are into that more than pictures. Last thing. The last magazine I remember getting of Penthouse cost $4.95. These magazines are just below $15.00 before tax. The displays are impressive and pretty, like the new cat with the Santa hat, festive. I was curious to see what Lego sets they had and there's a lot I like, such as HP, animal crossing, flower type ones that look like they'd go in a vase, and exotic cars which is perfect for my bro (he likes those types of Legos). I liked the Lego wall art like the Mona Lisa and Starry Night, debating if I want to come back and grab one! The associates are friendly and knowledgeable, the reason why I subtracted a star is the prices are usually fairly expensive and I don't know/think they ever do sales. Still need to also check out Lego discovery center at the local Springfield mall! We'll be back again for future Christmas shopping.
