Went to Gerber with nsurance claim for some bodywork to be fixed as result of vandalism. Worst…read morebodywork I have ever received. Brought it back for them to fix and they made excuses and tried to fix it but they could not. The molding is popped up. There are scratches, swirl marks, and other paint defects that I brought to their attention, and more excuses. I do not believe they actually used the paint booth because there is an astounding amount of dirt nips. My vehicle is a 2018 so it's not an "old" vehicle. My thought is they thought it was a leased vehicle on my insurance policy and I wouldn't care, however I had actually bought out my lease entirely and paid off the vehicle in cash. They have frustrated someone that would have been a good advocate for their work and recommended them to employees and friends. Now every time I see my vehicle, I shake my head in disgust. I am in the process of hiring a new company to do the work out of pocket because of their laziness and willingness to cut corners. Below are pictures of the swirl marks and poor workmanship. The dirt nips are not pictured as they are had to capture on camera, but believe me I have found now around 13 nips, previously, I had zero.

Now this is a little out of their lane but Mike has the expertise and made the repair in the same day for us. Mike also found another problem the axle U bolts and advised replacing them. What a lifesaver since we were on a little bit of a time crunch and the trailer was worse than I realized. The trailer had some creaks and occasional pops. Wow, I'm surprised we didn't lose an axle on the highway. It now actually tracks and rides smoother and quieter. Thank you Mike for your expertise and professionalism.

I was referred here after taking my car to the mechanic, he felt Spankys would be better able to…read moreassist me as he didn't feel comfortable tearing my front bumper open to get my turn signals installed. I called Spankys right away and they were able to squeeze me in for an estimate (free by the way) that same day. I walked in and was greeted by a friendly smile from the receptionist. I explained my dilemma and Chris the shop owner came out to take a look at it. After a quick inspection he was able to get the blue prints for the parts I needed printed out and an estimate drawn up. He explained the service throughly and made sure I was on the same page. Also let me know of possible delays and how long it would take. My car was serviced the next week. I dropped it off Monday night after hours and received a call the next afternoon about a the slight delay (which I was notified in advance, so I greatly appreciate that) and by Wednesday morning it was good to go. Chris was very helpful, transparent, and because of the previous work that has been done on the car (not at Spankys!) he was creative. As the original bumper was not on the car but was still able to get the job done! He knew all I wanted was to be street legal and not interested in the aesthetics of the car but I'm sure if that's what I was interested he'd be able to assist me in that too! Overall I would highly recommend this family owned shop as they are honest, affordable, and very helpful. I appreciated the great communication and transparency. *knocking on wood* I hope I don't need to stop by for auto body work anytime soon but I know where I will be taking my cars if I need to get the job done! I Took the time to get someone to take me to drop my car off (also transporting a little one) for them to have my car all day and the detail work is something I could have done from home in 30 mins. Being so strict about a 9am drop-off while keeping a car all day and delivering subpar results is . The inconvenience of arranging rides and losing my vehicle for an entire day was not worth it at all. To add as I'm seeing more of my car they had taken things off my car that were stuck on. When I pulled off the lot after purchasing the car, the check engine light turned on. Texted my salesman and he said to turn around and they would get it looked at. I couldn't because I was in need to drive it home that evening. Week later there was the tire pressure monitor system on, check engine light, all tail lights went out and needed to be replaced and I was putting air in a tire almost every other day. Txted my sales guy again and he said it was unfortunate that this happens sometimes after getting the vehicle off the lot. After he apologized that it should have been taken care of before I had possession of the car; asked for it to be brought back and they would get the items we talked about fixed. They determined that it would be on them and taken care of and they did a good job with the entire process. Overall happy with my good used vehicle and appreciate the help Andrew gave me. He knew I financially couldn't take on the price of the repairs needed so he told me everything was on them. I will tell others of my experience here for sure. If you look into getting a car from them just test drive a vehicle more than once before actually looking into purchasing....
