This company should be shut down.

This was the worst experience I have ever had at any school in my life. They also play favoritism and are so unorganized. The staff and teachers are so disrespectful and talk badly about students amongst other students and staff members. It's extremly unprofessional. They only care about money. My fasfa was tampered with after dealing with the financial aid portion and warnings were sent to me about someone else trying to log into it from a location at the school. They also tried to enroll me into another semester after I graduated. The older receptionist with the brown hair is extremely rude, goes out of her way to make certain student feel uncomfortable and seems to not really know what she is doing almost every interaction I have ever had. To much gossip with too many bored people. Don't go here. From laundering money, sex scandals, fraud, fake enrollments, fasfa fraud, sexual harassment, robbery, slandering, name calling, isolating, retaliation and causing metal health issues. Please go elsewhere. Everything about this school is bad. Be very careful. They also tried holding my transcripts which is illegal. Look up what this school has beed sued for and you will run away. They should be shut down. Sexual harassment and discrimination is also a red flag. They break these rules as well. Derogatory names referring to sexuality or sexual identity is often used amongst them about other students. Not in a good way.Watch out for that as well. I am so shocked that such disgusting behavior is accepted from these individuals and can still be employed. Hopefully you read this in time and decide to run the other way. Private school with accepted illegal behavior should be taken seriously and shut down.

So, I've read quite the reviews. My main question is, do they really hold you from taking the NCLEX until you pay off your balance in full? I've never heard of such a thing so I'm concerned if I should go here.

During the course, there were multiple last-minute changes, including in-person skills days being rescheduled the night before, which made it difficult to plan and take the program seriously. After completing the program, I submitted my LVN license on April 27 and requested that my certification be sent and posted to the Department of Consumer Affairs (Breeze) as required for employment. I received no response. I followed up again the next day and still received no reply. Because of this delay, I have already been denied multiple job opportunities since employers require the certification to be visible on Breeze. Only after multiple follow-ups did I finally receive my certificate, but it still has not been posted on the DCA website, which continues to impact my ability to secure a job. The lack of communication and delayed processing is unacceptable, especially when students are relying on timely certification for employment. This experience has cost me real job opportunities. I would strongly advise future students to consider other programs that are more organized and responsive. Also, I have an email stating that this was a three day course, I asked for the days off, and I already referred many people and paid, during the first day of class I was told this was a 4 day course and had to call out of work. I was also charged two times for this course and asked for a refund and received no reply, I had to open up a dispute with my bank. This school is very unorganized and they overbooked our class.

I am an Alumn from BSNRS cohort 7 but a majority of the experience of my time at Stanbridge was in…read moreBSNLA cohort 6. I finished the BSN program in July of 2025. I received my ATT (approval to test) within one week from my last day. I had the option to test immediately but I had applied to test with accommodations so with limited centers for accommodations I tested 1 month out in August and passed the first time. I worked closely with our Careers Center and the director Dr. Willinger to create an amazing resume right after receiving my license, began applying to jobs immediately and received an invitation to interview within one week for DaVita. Two weeks later I received an invitation to interview for an ER position close to home which was my first choice to build a strong foundation as a new nurse. I know there are a lot of negative comments about this school on here. I have heard and watched a lot of sad and crazy experiences that my friends and other peers endure with staff and faculty throughout my 3.5 years there. I have experienced questionable professors and staff who are obviously there for the paycheck. On the other end, I have met 2x as many INCREDIBLE staff and faculty throughout my time at Stanbridge. People need to understand that this is still a relatively new program and it's still working through a lot of adjustments both within the programs itself, how they handle students, and how they handle staff. But with being new comes an advantage to incoming students because with the help of the right people and resources, there is flexibility and grace that comes with a class or a term that possibly end in a fluke (I.e. bad professors, missing classes due to extreme circumstances, etc.). I understand this is not everyone's experience, but I HAVE seen multiple times where the school does work with students to properly evaluate their knowledge of a subject a second time if there is overwhelming evidence showing it was not properly done the first time. It also is dependent on how an issue is communicated as well. Any nursing program out there is hard and rigorous. Stanbridge is not unique to this. I can confidently say that I went in to the NCLEX feeling so prepared because of how this school preps you. If you follow testing strategies and work closely with the coaches at the end of the program YOU. WILL. PASS. From Term 1 Stanbridge works with students not just on building testing stamina but building testing stamina while sleep deprived. It's not officially an actual thing. They always told us to be well rested and to eat before but, the reality of any nursing program is adequate sleep is simply not possible. You just have to get through each term and pass. Keep moving even if you have a set back, do your best to not stop. I have no idea how many times I thought to myself that I will more than likely not remember anything after the program and I questioned if I really actually learned anything. I have been an ER nurse for almost 7 months now. Every moment of feeling competent, confident, and proud to be a nurse I owe to Stanbridge. While most of my peers in my new grad program have forgotten a lot of basics and high priorities, I am one of the few who still remembers and I am so thankful. I had zero medical background coming into the program. My science gpa at a 3.5 was not competitive enough for CCs, UCs, or CSUs to see me as a priority candidate for their RN program. Stanbridge was the first school to take a chance on me and invest in me. Before Stanbridge I was never the student who was picked for scholarships, awards, or special internships. The last 2 years at Stanbridge I received scholarships every term, was selected for Student Hospital Fellowship, received the Presidential Service Award, and ended the program with the Thomas Fuentes Service Award. This was all because ONE staff member encouraged me to apply each time an opportunity was sent out. The Stanbridge experience is truly what YOU choose to make it. I have met some amazing people with incredible hearts at this school. I loved that I don't need to hike or walk a mile to get to class. I loved that I only needed to be on the ground once or twice a week. Nursing school was THE hardest thing I have ever done. I gave up my entire life for 3 years just to eat, live, breathe, and sleep nursing. You can ensure your success in this program if you want this more than anything else. There will be times where you have to pick school over your family and it sucks. But being on the other side now, it is SO worth it and now I have the rest of my life. My husband is currently in the program now and is in term 4 at the OC campus. He hasn't been in school full time in over 10 years and he is doing amazing. I'm proud to be a nurse and I'm proud to be a Stanbridge Alum. The cost for tuition is pretty steep. If you have a good tribe behind you and can afford to not work during the program, I highly recommend it!

A huge shoutout to our program director, Dr. Vu, who went above and beyond to make sure we were prepared for the NBCOT. You can tell she genuinely cares about her students' success and puts in the effort to guide and support everyone throughout the program. All of my professors also played a big role in my journey. Professor Estoque had this really warm, motherly/older sister kind of energy that made you feel supported and comfortable, especially during stressful times. Professor Hintay had a calm and steady presence that made the class feel grounded. She explained things clearly and helped break down more complex topics in a way that felt manageable. Dr. Lim was kind but pushed us to really understand the material on a deeper level, which made a big difference in our learning. Professor Oh was newer to the program, but you could really see the effort he put into improving and growing as an instructor. Professor Son was fun and funny but she also challenged us in a good way. She held us to a high standard, but it ultimately helped us become more confident and prepared. She took on both roles as our instructor and fieldwork coordinator, and she handled both incredibly well. She was organized, supportive, and played a big role in helping us transition into our clinical experiences. All the professors were knowledgeable, supportive, and always willing to help when things got tough. You can really feel that they want you to succeed, not just pass. One of the best parts of my experience was the friendships I made and the extra activities we got to be a part of. Whether it was volunteering or just participating in school events, those moments made everything more fun and created memories I'll always carry with me. Overall, I'm grateful for my experience at ACC. Going back to school was one of the best decisions I made, and I feel confident stepping into my career as a COTA because of the foundation I built here.

There were not enough chairs or even tables to sit at. The class instructor Jayne does a good job at breaking everything down and making it simple to understand the basic concept of different IV fluids, indications, complications, etc. I would say this class is better for LVNs or new grads. My constructive criticism is regarding her terrible attitude towards some of her students. She even mocked a student in front of the class asking a question that was completely valid. She repeated the question back to him and just started laughing in front of everyone. Then, when it was my turn to insert an IV, I got blood return and successfully inserted the IV despite being incorrectly told that I wasn't in the vein. Luckily I didn't listen, and proceeded to float the catheter into the vein. At this point, turn around to hear Jayne from across the room yelling at me "NO, NO, NO, NO!!!".... to which I replied, "um, what?" She then proceeded to yell at me for placing pressure above the insertion site while reaching for the connection tubing, so that blood wouldn't squirt out. I had no problem with telling her that I would appreciate legitimate feedback, not her yelling "no" multiple times at me from across the room. I also could have done without the lengthy tangents she went on, which I felt took away from the content of the class. She ranted about her kids and their IQ (of all things) for a solid 10 minutes, at which point I looked around and noticed that half of the class was on their phones or nodding off from boredom. Do yourself a favor and go spend your $205 at a facility with updated equipment, enough seats, and an instructor who respects their students and isn't burned out yawning throughout the entire class. I genuinely don't understand how this page has so many good reviews about her, unless she has really gone down hill in the last few months, or just had a really terrible night's sleep. Regardless, I will not be returning.
