The class instructors, Oscar and Linda, offered very thorough lectures and prepared my class well for the state exam.

Not sure how these great views are coming out in the recent months when there is no one assisting with customer service!

I can say that I was abled to get the best educational experience because of my instructor Cabantug Noli. Mr. Noli guided me to come out my comfort zone and become the leader I am today. Mr. Noli set example for my peers and I, where we were encouraged to work with one another and elaborate on each other's skills. He created a safe space which allowed us to be ourselves and receive great knowledge on what it takes to be a CNA. I can truly say Mr. Noli is a distinctive instructor that brings not only his respect for students but his kind heart. Originally, I came here intending to leave an extremely negative review regarding my 18-month…read moreexperience at this school. However, instead of writing purely out of frustration, I want to highlight the areas that truly need improvement because the experience has been devastating, disappointing, and frustrating for many students. One of the biggest issues with this school is the lack of an open-door policy when it comes to student concerns, guidance, and resolution. Unfortunately, it often feels like it is "the school's way or the highway." Students frequently feel unheard, dismissed, and undermined, even when bringing forward serious and valid concerns. Another major issue is the constant policy and program changes. Cohort contracts are changed unexpectedly, resulting in students attending longer than originally anticipated. In addition, students are sometimes required to retest under circumstances that feel unjustified and poorly managed. For example, my cohort took our exit exam on May 8th, and many of us passed. Days later, we were informed that the exam had been invalidated due to vendor-related errors. Imagine the emotional distress and disappointment that caused after students had already worked tirelessly to succeed. Situations like this should be prevented through better oversight, communication, and coordination with testing vendors before exams are administered. The school also lacks empathy and flexibility when students face real-life challenges. Many of us have families, jobs, financial responsibilities, and personal hardships, yet accommodations are often discussed and later retracted. As a nursing school that teaches compassion and patient-centered care, it is disappointing to experience such little empathy and support toward students. To future students considering this program: understand that your concerns may not always be acknowledged, even when they are valid. Many students feel unsupported not only by the school administration, but also when attempting to escalate concerns externally. I will say there are some positives. The grading scale is fair, the online theory format can be convenient, and there are several excellent clinical instructors who genuinely care about student success. However, management, communication, consistency, and student advocacy need significant improvement. There are only a few theory instructors who truly stand out positively. Additionally, the heavy reliance on ATI and Capstone testing may work for some students, but not everyone learns the same way. Success cannot be measured solely through repetitive testing strategies. Many students succeed because of outside tutoring, independent study groups, determination, and personal discipline. Nursing schools should recognize that different learning styles require different approaches. Overall, my cohort experienced a significant amount of stress, inconsistency, and frustration throughout this process. I sincerely hope the school takes student feedback seriously moving forward, improves communication, and creates a more supportive environment for future students. #forevergroup46

There was a lot of information, paperwork, and requirements that I didn't fully understand. I had several questions and wasn't sure what I needed to do next. Monse was incredibly patient, professional, and helpful throughout the process. She took the time to explain things clearly and helped me understand what was required. Even when I was frustrated and confused, she remained kind and professional. What stood out to me the most was that she treated me with respect and understanding. I know the staff deal with many people and many different situations every day, and that can't be easy. Despite that, she was still able to help me get everything sorted out. I actually asked if I could bring a small gift to thank her, but she told me staff are not allowed to accept gifts. So instead, I wanted to leave this review because I truly appreciate her help. Thank you, Monse, for your patience, professionalism, and kindness. You made a stressful situation much easier to handle, and I am very grateful. By Christine

Rosa or Rosie at the front desk is extremely rude and harsh. She made me cry once in the office, I was feeling so guilty about missing a class. I was deep in addiction and trying to make things right, and she made me feel like the scum of the earth. The young man in the front is very kind and patient and deserves accolades. He was always patient while I sorted through my paperwork. I always made it my job to get all my emails from my AA classes and highlight the dates and times to make it easier for them to count them up. I spent a lot of money here, and I don't plan on ever having to do it again. I appreciate that they have online classes, but the rules are very strict. Some counselors make the classes more freeform than others. I definitely loved counselor Mario. He made the time fly by. We would discuss philosophy, and he was very introspective and helped us open up and see how there are other factors besides addiction that have led us to where we are, including unhealed trauma. Mario's classes many times felt more like an open format AA meeting, and it was especially helpful when others participated and contributed to the discussion. Sometimes we'd really get deep into one person's story, other times we would laugh, sometimes we would cry. Often we told cautionary tales. Lessons were learned and I'm better for it, even though I never want to do it again. Going in person is slightly more relaxed than online. I only went a few times but I'd always see people scrolling on their phones in person, meanwhile we'd get called out online immediately. Follow the rules and you'll get through it. DON'T MISS CLASS OR IT'S $30!! And if you go more than 21 days without a class, you have to go back to court. That's not ABC's fault, it's the law. Be careful if your class falls on a major holiday. Set alarms so you don't forget to go. And you can't be in a moving car or outside during class, this seemed to be the rule that people misunderstood the most. You can do AA online, or Recovery Road is right around the corner. Just be sure to get your card signed or email confirmation. Whatever you do, don't miss an appointment here, they don't make it easy for you.
