No matter where we travel to…read more... Somehow, some way, if there just so happens to be a Target there, my wife will miraculously find a reason to convince me that we need to stop in. Yeah, even while on vacation where I know for a fact that we 100% packed everything we could possibly need for our trip before leaving home... (Trust me, after filling her suitcase, she still uses the other half of my suitcase so I can carry her toiletry bag, her extra pairs of shoes, and like 12 canisters of sunscreen in every SPF who can think of) And just like that, now MY suitcase is nearly full. But just so you know, I purposely was keeping the other half of my suitcase empty for all of the souvenirs and gifts I was gonna get for people back home... Sorry Gigi, guess you're just gonna get another fridge magnet this year cause that's all I can fit. ;) Anyways... So there we were, once again on the beautiful Island of Kauai... And suddenly my wife remembered she needed something and said "let's go to Target in Lihue, I just want to pick up a couple of things." I of course, knew exactly what that meant... "Just a couple of things" would ultimately turn into a "cart full of stuff." Of course, you can bank on it that every single Target trip will either start or end at their in-store Starbucks. So there we were, walking around the Target in Lihue, Kauai approximately 2,600 miles from home... She picked up the things she originally came in for, grabbed a few snacks for the kids, and decided to get some ingredients to make a few meals back at our condo. But then as we continued walking down the aisles, something caught her eye. We were in the back to school section and she was like... "aww look how cute these lunch bags are for the girls lunches when they start school! Oh and they have matching containers for their school snacks too, we need these!" Mind you... It was the middle of summer. We were on an island. On Vacation. In Paradise. But there we were, shopping for lunch bags. At Target. So I said to my wife... "Lunch Bags?" "Shouldn't we just get these at our Target back home?" "Plus, we don't have room in the suitcases" My wife, "I think you have some space in yours" Needless to say, our girls are rocking their new lunch bags thanks to Dad ;) Ok, I'm being a little dramatic, but hopefully you can relate and enjoyed my little tale. But know that those memes you've seen about going to Target for a few things, but land up with a cart full of stuff are Real! Hey, I'm not gonna lie, some of the stuff in the cart is mine too! So what makes this Target stand out? Well for one... The parking lot has chickens and roosters just chillen out front. Of course, this target has all things Hawaiian and you can definitely find some great local merchandise and gifts that you can't get at your local Target location. The store is well stocked, clean and there are plenty of staff to assist. So.... The next time you travel to Kauai... Fella's, I recommend leaving a little space in your suitcase for that "spontaneous" Target run; your wife will appreciate you! Mahalo from the Mainland!

I had scheduled an appointment to pick up an iphone that I ordered on the Verizon website. I signed…read morein at the prescribed time and received a message on my phone that the wait would be 7 minutes. I walked out an hour and 15 minutes later without my new phone and without having contact with any of the four employees. I was never greeted, spoken to, or acknowledged. Oh, and I did shave and shower, applied deodorant and dressed appropriately before the appointment. When I left, there were still 3 people ahead of me. The employees were more interested in upselling rather than taking care of all the customers in the store. I cancelled my order on line and ordered the same iphone from Apple and will just wait the 10 days for home delivery.

When she told them that it was the store's error that resulted in ruining the first one, they called the police on her. If you're spending the day walking around, having nowhere to go can be incredibly inconvenient. I honestly don't think people talk about this enough. This place was a lifesaver when I needed a restroom, and because of that, I'll definitely remember it for future visits. It also made me understand why certain parts of the city sometimes have the smell that they do, when there aren't enough accessible public restrooms, people are left with very few options. So thank you, Best Buy, for having public bathroom access to your customers. On another note, I was able to purchase an AirTag today finally and I was able to check out Geek Squad. I asked them how much it would be to fix my iPhone screen and it was $300 with my T-Mobile Insurance. I'm glad I got the insight so I know the price but I'll definitely try out another option and price compare.
