Seriously, he is the greatest joy. He's kind of hyper for a 3 year old Golden, but he mellows out. He is such a goober, OBSESSED with frisbees and balls, and is just so happy to be alive. As a puppy when we got him he was super cute and sweet also, although he did have a lot of ticks on him. But other than that he was healthy and super sweet with no health problems. I just wanted to update our review to know that these dogs are not just cute as puppies, but such a joy as they get older too. I will be definitely reaching out to these guys again in the future when we are ready for another Golden. I know they don't live forever, so when our oldest one passes and we're ready for another dog, I know we will reach out to these guys. read more

To be fair the owner seems very polite and knowledgeable and the price for a pure breed golden retriever is fair as well. My issue is that when I went to pick up my puppy she was covered in mud. That may seem like a weird complaint but my wife and I were the last people to pick up their pup, so there was time for her to be bathed and cleaned. This isn't the worst part though, once I got the puppy home and bathed her I found the first tick on the puppy. This was Thursday 8/25/2022. I found more and more ticks through out Friday and Saturday now today Sunday 8/28/2022 I have found at least 25 babies ticks. I messaged the owner about what was going on and no response. Don't make the same mistake I did if you buy from this breeder make sure your pup is clean and flea and tick free, because if you have any issues or questions after the transaction is done the breeder will leave you high and dry without any answers. This guy is the definition of a irresponsible backyard breeder. Doesn't care for the dogs he just wants the money. There's screenshots of him telling people he doesn't give a f*** because he already got his money. He doesn't do any health clearances on his dogs, he has them super dirty with flees and ticks. I called him to get some information on a golden and he was very rude. Also found a post about him on Facebook where he was mad that a lady went with another breeder instead of him and he told the lady that he hoped her dog would get parvo and died. The owner told me he had one dog available and promised it to me and my kids if I put down a deposit which I did and we even went to meet her that same day! we agreed we would pick her up in 3 days, this am he text me saying he sold it to someone else!! I've always wanted a golden retriever and luckily I found this video on YouTube that helped me get my golden retriever who I named Molly! Looking for a golden retriever is really intimidating because you have to find there right person for the right reasons.
