UPDATE: I posted my review prior to receiving a full refund for their services. He asked me to remove the review because the refund, but yelp is a place to express truth . I will not hid the truth yet alone let someone involve my children over a yelp review. The booking process was great and smooth. Drew groomed my doodle in the evening, but had his wife come back the next day to clean up around her face as he wasn't able to get a good clean cut due to the type of hair my doodle has. This morning the second groomer came (Jessica). I asked her to round out and even the face as well as trim the ears, which was done in maybe less than 10 minutes. Shortly after I noticed blood in my hands and on my dog. She trimmed the ears so much that she actually cut off the tips of BOTH my dogs ears.. how did she not notice? I'm pretty positive you could have seen or felt my dog flinch or even yelp. UNACCEPTABLE. read more

I have used the mobile service of this groomer in the past and had no problems, but the mobile was booked up too far in advance so I took them to the shop instead. Jessica was the groomer in shop. We have never seen a worse haircut on our dog. You can see shave marks all over her body and various bald spots. I can't help but think it hurt her as close and rough as the shave was. I don't know what kind of shampoo they use, but she was covered with dandruff. I originally made the reservations with Cris (who did the mobile grooming), so I texted her these pics and told her this is the worst shave she has ever had. She apologized and said she would show them to Jessica. That was a week ago and I never heard back. The least they could have done is offer to fix her up but I heard nothing back. I just had to review VIP Puppy again, they Are so great with all of my dogs! They offered a drop off service with appts available immediately, or a mobile service but appts were not available for a few weeks. I didn't want to make my babies wait a few weeks to get groomed but was super hesitant to do the drop off service only because with the companies I have gone to before they are usually crammed two at a time into a super small cage and stuck there ALL day. I called around to literally every other mobile Grooming service in the area but everywhere was sooooo expensive- average about $75 per dog and I'm getting four dogs groomed. I decided to book with VIP's drop off service and I'm so glad I did! The cages they were kept in were HUGE, and brand new. There was a freshly cleaned bowl of water on each cage as well, and the area they were being groomed in was air conditioned and incredibly clean. Jessica was great with my dogs as usual, and the best part? They were there for just over three and a half hours before they were ready for pick up. My babies look and smell amazing, and I will never consider taking my dog anywhere else! read more

If your appointment is after 2pm, find another groomer. Our appointment was scheduled for 5pm. Mind you, this is for 2 SAMOYEDS. If you don't know, they're similar to huskies but 10x fluffier. I wanted the basic groom with de-shed shampoo and sanitary clip. First off, when he arrived at 6pm I asked if there was enough time to do both dogs. All the previous groomers took at least 2-3 hrs per dog. He assured me that he could do both. Well... I think you can tell where this is going. He finished my first dog and her tail and rear was still wet. Wasn't happy about it, but not a big deal. Then he finishes my second dog. I pay him with a 20% tip and bring my dog inside only to realize that HALF HIS BODY WAS STILL WET! He did the "shake" and i could see the water coming off of him. So there I am sitting in my yard at 9:30pm freezing my a** off drying my dog with the leaf blower in the dark. Oh not to mention the 2 hours of brushing afterwards. Listen, when he told me 5pm was his earliest available appointment I shouldn't have known better. For my own stupidity I give 2 stars. read more

Just took my dogs to this spot today and I can't tell you how happy I was to receive the call that my dogs were done. They usually stay at the groomers for the majority of the day because my maltipoo needs to be secured that he is okay before getting cut. He is older and blind so patience is key with him. I honestly though Jessica was calling to tell me she gave up but I was pleasantly surprised to hear her say they were ready and she completed the cuts. They washed/cleaned 3 of our dogs two Maltese and a German Shepard. The Maltese were quick and easy but my German Shepard is a big baby so he was being difficult. They are very professional yet also very personal. They were prompt with arriving and had great communication with me over text which was my preferred method. Trimming and conditioning: His hair already is naturally long and VERY thick. They trimmed his arm and leg fur, under belly, butt and neck perfectly! Newfies are hard bc they are supposed to have big coats but it can get knotted easily if not kept up. He also smelt amazing and they put a super cute bandana on him. I really like how they included drop off times for me to come to their house (which isn't far from me) and drop my dog off. I don't see Drew around as much ( probably because he's the one driving the van around) , but the few times I do see him he always has a smile on his face and is very friendly. Thank goodness for Drew and the rest of the Very Important Puppy crew during these weird times. Drew really came through with giving our German Shepherd an amazing bath. We usually use PetSmart for grooming, but due to the coronavirus pandemic, their grooming salon was closed. Louie came out of Drew's van smelling wonderful and her fur was really soft. She can be quite hard to groom as she hates when anyone touches her paws, but Drew did a great job at keeping her calm. Communication overall was great. I took my 3 dogs and 2 got cut. One got cut and walked out bleeding all over the front office and the 2nd one got a nasty infection on the cut on his shoulder that took him weeks to heal from. I haven't had my dogs cut before with their previous groomer. Jessica, the groomer acted like it was not a big deal saying "oh she moved when she saw you. Just put powder on it." She never mention the 2nd dog's cut although his fur was shaved down on that part as if she took the trimmer too far, which she, obviously, did. I am not happy.
