It was a great experience dropping our big dogs to Mutts & Pups. First, the guy picked up the phone on a Sunday and was able to accommodate us on the morning of. It took just about 1.5 hours for both our girls' groomings. When we picked them up they looked and felt great. We are happy with the full service ear cleaning and nail trims as well! It's quite reasonably priced, especially for large size dogs.

Was urgently looking for a doggy grooming place and Gabriel was able to take my fur baby in the same day! He has exceptional service, is respectful, & treats my dog as if she is his own. My dog came out smelling good with the cutest cut! The place is a bit hidden but worth a try! (Bandana was not included, that is mine).

He always did my dogs last minute. She's a cockapoo and he did her with a teddy bear, hair and shirt on her body for the summer. He was very nice and he let me enter the place where they put them in the cages and I see he takes very well care other dogs. He is a very good guy and he gives very good prices. I recommend him 100% here in Fontana California.

They were God sent they did such a good job and have great prices. I started grooming my dog on my own because I couldn't afford it anymore, and honestly I'm so glad I found Gabriel and his shop. Definitely am coming back, Chris greeted me and was very friendly, met Gabriel at pick up and he as well was so friendly great customer service over all so happy! 10/10

I just moved to the US recently, so I didn't know any local groomers. The owner was very prompt and accommodating. We took our three dogs, all different sizes: a big American Akita, English Cocker Spaniel and a Pomeranian. We were very happy to see how the dogs turned out. The prices are a lot better compared to Petsmart or Petco and you don't have to wait three hours to pick up your dog. We will definitely come back!

I absolutely love this place. They don't discriminate against my pitbull. They always take her and handle her with care.. My dog has horrible irritation and redness in his penis after bringing him here. I thought picking him up bald after 30 minutes of dropping him off was the worst part, it turns out that it is not. I'm afraid he might have an infection. It seems to me that this guy is careless about these animals. I got a call 30 minutes after dropping him off which was insane to me how you can bathe, cut hair, cut nails and clean ears all in 30 minutes! I don't know if my dog was hurt with the tools but I do know that this was caused by the grooming. My dog has been knotted before and this is the first time this has happened. read more

Horrible experience! If I can give it a zero I would My dog's nails were unevenly cut, and his fur was left with patches everywhere. When we first walked in, we saw a beautiful German Shepherd being brushed so poorly -- the girl grooming him looked like she didn't even want to be there. The man who handled our dog was even worse: he had a terrible attitude, showed no affection towards the dogs, and grabbed my dog aggressively. Now I understand why it's so cheap -- you truly get what you pay for. If you genuinely love your dog like we do, please do not bring them here. They treat the dogs with no care or compassion. I'm sure it will be shutting down soon I won't be the only one complaining once people realize how there dogs are being treated. read more

I usually don't leave reviews but was pretty upset with my most recent experience at this shop. I usually message through here to book and never had a problem before but i didn't get a response for a few days so i decided to call the number they had on here instead. The lady greeted me with the company name and I asked if there was any bookings for this Saturday and she said they were booked for the morning but 3pm-8pm was fully open. I asked for 3pm and she said great but asked if i could text the number i called with the date and time we had agreed on because she was driving, so I did that. Then comes saturday and I walk into the shop a few minutes before my appointment time and the groomer who was there asked what I was there for, he had completed my pets services before and I never had a problem with the experience by the way, but I told him I had an appointment and he said with who and I told him I wasn't sure I didn't ask her name and he just told in a passive aggressive way that I'd have to contact the groomer I talked to her (Cassie, he asked if that was her name so I assume he knew who) that he has no idea where she is and she's always showing up late so I should try calling her. Very unprofessional on both of their behalf because I texted the number she had me sent the date and time to and she never answered, i waited with my pet in the parking lot for 10 minutes and she never showed. Unprofessional on his end because at the end of the day he works for the business not me so why should i be the one contacting your coworker if you don't know where she is then why would I know? Also not once did he apologize on her behalf which I know he isn't required to but if someone I work with was making my business look unprofessional and unorganized than I would be embarrassed and immediately apologize for the sake of how the company would look. Don't plan on booking here anymore. read more

We've been going to that other "smart" store for over five years to have our dog's nails trimmed…read more Ever since, they've told us that we can just walk in and they will do the trim. The most we've ever had to wait is about 15 to 20 minutes. Today, was no different, walked in at 10:15a, let them know that we needed a nail trim, the associate said that the earliest they can get us in was not till 12 PM without an appointment. An appointment? I explained to them that in the five years we've been going to them for nail grinds (which is pretty frequent) we've never had to make an appointment. That's when she said that making appointment has always been in place. So, I walked out, came over to The Good Dog. The General Manager greeted us, even while working with another customer. Listening how he handled the other two customers in front of us (who appeared to be regulars) set the tone that this is a friendly place that we want to be a part of. You know, it's like "Cheers," you wanna go where everyone knows your name! Well, they were able to get us in right away. They advised we typically do not need to make an appointment for nail grind, but to simply call up to make sure they are not busy at the moment, otherwise can get in quickly. I think that's reasonable, fair enough AND smart! "Thanks, Good Dog!"

None could find anything other than a plugged tear duct. Benny finally got so dehydrated that I brought him to the emergency room at Inland Valley Veterinary Specialists. The doctor there that night, Dr. Jeffrey Patlogar, examined him and immediately suspected a tumor behind the left eye. He recommended an ophthalmologist, who ordered a CT scan, which indeed showed the tumor. Dr. Patlogar knew it was most likely a lymphoma, and started prednisone and L-asparaginase while waiting for an oncologist to see Benny. The oncologist concurred completely with Dr. Patlogar's assessment and treatment. Because of his timely decisions, Benny survived long enough to get radiation therapy. He has been back to his old self since. I am amazed at, and very grateful for, Dr. Patlogar's clinical expertise. He basically saved Benny. Furthermore, everyone at IVVS from the receptionists to the nurses consistently showed compassion and attention to my cat and me. If and when Benny gets sick again, we will be coming back to this ER.

At his age, there was likely more going on than one treatable issue. The veterinarian could have easily recommended a long list of tests. Instead, he gave me real guidance. When I asked what he would do if it were his own dog, he told me he would choose euthanasia at this stage, explaining that "a day or a week too early is better than a day too late" to avoid unnecessary suffering. I had been struggling with this decision for a while, and that honesty helped me feel confident I was doing the right thing. It meant everything. Once I made the decision, the compassion from the staff was incredible. They handled everything with such care, dignity, and kindness. I've also been here before when Baxter was first diagnosed with heart failure, and had the same experience. The veterinarian literally told me it wasn't an emergency and that I could either proceed with treatment there or follow up with my regular vet the next day and save the cost of emergency care. That level of transparency really stuck with me. I'm truly grateful for this team and this office. If you're ever in a difficult situation with your pet, this is a place where you'll receive honest, compassionate care--not pressure to run unnecessary tests or take advantage of a vulnerable moment. Most recently, I brought my cat in for an eye issue and was quoted over $600 for an exam, sedation, tests, and medication. The price immediately felt extremely high, especially for an eye infection, so I decided to call another veterinary clinic to compare. The other clinic examined both of my cat's eyes, and the total cost came out to under $120 including medication. They also determined that sedation was not necessary at all. My cat was calm, friendly, and even purring during the exam, which made me question why sedation was being pushed so strongly at the first clinic. This clinic does not allow pet owners to accompany their animals due to "safety protocols," so it left me wondering how my cat was being handled during the visit. Another frustrating part of the experience is that you don't actually speak directly with the doctor. All communication goes through the technician, who goes back and forth between you and the doctor. As a pet owner, I would much rather speak directly with the veterinarian responsible for my pet's care, instead of receiving information through a middle person. At the other clinic, the doctor was with me during the entire exam, explaining everything step by step, which felt much more transparent and reassuring. What also shocked me was that they mentioned charging a fee for each CPR attempt in case of an emergency. As a worried pet owner, hearing about additional charges like that felt extremely discouraging and overwhelming. Isn't the priority supposed to be protecting the life of the animal under their care? This unfortunately isn't my first bad experience here. During a previous visit, my cat needed a cast. After the procedure, she was still sedated and very sleepy, and the cast fell off immediately after we got home. She had barely moved, so it clearly wasn't my fault or my cat's fault. I called the clinic hoping they would fix it since it appeared to be an issue with how the cast was applied, but they charged me again to redo it. At the time I didn't push for a refund because my cat's wellbeing came first. Looking back now after this second experience, I truly feel I deserve a refund for that cast, since the issue was not caused by anything I did or by my cat. I do want to say that the front desk staff have always been kind and supportive, and I appreciate them. However, overall my experiences with this clinic have been very disappointing. I care deeply about my cat and want a veterinary office that is honest, transparent, and focused on the animal's wellbeing, not adding unnecessary services that dramatically increase the bill. There are other veterinary clinics in the area that provide great care without making pet owners feel this way. I strongly encourage others to seek a second opinion before committing to treatment here.
