As we're eating out corn dog, we realized our corn dog was just filled with cheese...and more cheese...endless amount of cheese. My son found this place a while back and we decided to order takeout from here on my visit. The place shares a store with CM Chicken and we also ordered from there as well (separate review). There is a small seating area, but takeout is their primary business model. To explain what this is, I consider it an elevated corn dog. The dog is put on a stick and coated like a corn dog, but the additional possible combinations on top of that is what elevates it. We called ahead and the lady was quite nice on the phone, as well as in person. We ordered the Potato Premium Sausage Hotdog. Simply put, it is a corn dog covered with french fries. It's a meal unto itself! It was quite different from the usual corn dog you may have and there are many options to choose from. Wow! We recently stumbled upon this place (which is now called Bo's Korean Hotdog) while on our way to NYC and this is the kind of place we'll make a significant detour to visit again! We had never tried Korean hotdogs before, so we asked for recommendations from the staff. The young lady and her mother were beyond helpful and took their time explaining the menu and answering all of our questions. Following their recommendations, we ordered a #9 (sausage, cheese, coating, and potatoes), a #2 (mozz cheese), and a small box of chicken. Everything was prepared fairly quickly and was nice and hot when we got it. Again following the recommendations, we sprinkled sugar on the #9, which created an amazing blend of sweet and savory flavors. The chicken had a subtle kick and our little one enjoyed dipping it with ranch, while I enjoyed dipping it with honey mustard. We packed a #9 and some chicken for my father-in-law back at our hotel and he was also impressed and loved the meal! Before we left, the mother went out of her way to make sure we had all the essentials, from utensils to sauces, so my father-in-law could enjoy his meal. Beyond the unbelievably delicious food, we also enjoyed a long chat with the young woman and her mother about the local Korean community and its history. Needless to say, the next time we're even remotely in the area, WE WILL RETURN! It's worth noting that there's not much seating available at the restaurant. The FAR majority of the business they do is takeout, but they did have a couple of stools available for sitting at the front window. When I watch Korean content, I sometimes crave a corn dog and this is where I go. They just look so adorable! Plus, they're nothing like American corn dogs. I like Korean ones better, especially Ssong's because the batter includes rice flour. I've tried a few of the corn dogs here and I like the Potato Mozz Stick and Spicy Sausage Dog the most. The mozzarella on any of the corn dogs melts so well and you get that satisfying cheesy pull with each bite. The Potato Mozz Stick is the most filling one due to the potatoes. The Spicy Sausage Dog (or any of the other ones not covered in potatoes) is where the rice flour batter comes into play. It gives it such a nice chewy bite and the panko makes it crispy to perfection. They have a small table with condiments and toppings. I know some people like to roll their corn dog in sugar. I personally don't prefer that taste. I just make pretty zig-zags with spicy mayo and/or ketchup. Tip #1: Call ahead to place your order for pick up because it can get busy and you don't want to have to wait on an empty belly. Tip #2: If you can't finish your corn dog, you can reheat it with an air fryer and eat it the next day! It tastes just as good! Tip #3: Get some fried chicken wings next door! read more

This place was very good! I've been seeing hotdog shops like this all over LA but it's so exciting to have one in NJ too! The staff was super nice, and quick with our order.
