We were seated quickly, and the service was attentive. I ordered the agua de sandía (watermelon juice) and the Baja crispy fish taco, while my friend got two tacos. The watermelon juice was refreshing, and fresh, without added sugar. The tacos were flavorful and enjoyable, and I appreciate that they are served on corn tortillas. We were also given complimentary chips and salsa. I've visited several Tacombi locations across NYC, and they are consistently reliable in both quality and experience. The prices are also very reasonable for the quality of food. I would definitely recommend this location, as well as any of their others.

Around 6pm all tables were taken; lots of families dining! We were told 15-25 minutes for a table but I'm not even sure we waited 5 minutes. We definitely waited longer for someone to take our order, which wound up being the hostess. Based on the service we received (barely any throughout our entire meal), it seems this location would be better suited for ordering at a counter, seating yourself and having your number called when food is ready (or brought to you). The taco Tuesday special is BOGO with cheaper tacos taken off bill. I had the Al pastor, crispy fish and barbacoa, which was a special collaboration (and the most expensive at $7.99). They have a good kid's menu. Much improved from when I was here years ago and the food was too spicy for kids. I ordered a michelada; it's $3 more than the price of the beer you choose. I was a little suspicious of what it might taste like when brought to the table. Whatever they use to make the michelada was brown. It wound up tasting pretty good.

I wish i took photos of my food or this location but I ate too fast ! My husband ordered the food at the kiosk and entered his phone number and got a $10 coupon for spending more than $30. Total was $49 which is expensive but food was excellent. We got 2 burgers, 3 fries and 3 drinks. We sat downstairs with our numbers where an employee was using a walkie to talk to the employees upstairs. They brought our food to us and it was fresh. The employee working downstairs today around 5pm was so nice and helpful. Made sure tables were clean and we had all we needed. Excellent service from her. I used the bathroom after which there was a line for but the bathrooms were very clean. They have 2 bathrooms, i went into the smaller one but i was surprised with how clean it was. Def enjoyed this location and will make sure I come back here when in the area!

Its origins trace back to the US, right here in New York, so I had high expectations. Sadly, my experience here was a huge letdown. It wasn't even as good as the locations overseas. Value for money is extremely poor. The beef patty was slightly burnt, and the overall flavour combination felt off. It's surprising that in the birthplace of hamburgers, this iconic brand can only deliver such mediocre quality. I'm quite disappointed and won't be ordering from this chain again while in the US. I'm giving the food 2 out of 5 stars. On a positive note, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming -- far better than the burger itself. I'd give the service a solid 5 stars.

Listen, kid, pull up a chair--no, not that one, that one wobbles like a three-legged greyhound--and…read morelet me tell you something about burgers. I been around, alright? I've seen things. Yonkers, Monticello, a brief and regrettable flirtation with Atlantic City... point is, I know meat. Camel smoke curls--you smell that? That's wisdom. That and a little Cutty Shark sweating through a paper cup. Doctor says cut back. I says, "Doc, you ever tried livin' without flavor?" Conversation over. Now--burgers. Everybody's got a burger. Every schmuck with a flat-top thinks he's curing cancer between two buns. But there are levels, kid. Levels. You got your one-napkin burgers. Dry. Sad. Like chewing on a library book. You eat it, you forget it, you question your life choices. Then--then--you graduate. Two napkins. Now we're talkin'. Juice shows up to the party, maybe says hello, maybe shakes your hand, nothing crazy. But a three-napkin burger? Ooof. I've had a few in my day. A few. And lemme tell you--they were money. Drippin' down the wrist, little collateral damage on the shirt, but you don't care. That's a burger with ambition. That's a burger that says, "Yeah, I might ruin your dry cleaning, but you'll thank me later." Four napkins? Rare air. That's like hittin' a trifecta blindfolded while your bookie's yellin' in your ear. You don't plan for it. It just... happens. You sit there afterward, hands lookin' like you just changed the oil in a Buick, and you think, "I have seen God." But then... then... You hear whispers. Rumors. Guys at the track talkin' low, like it's contraband. "Five Napkins," they say. I'm thinkin', what is this, a joke? Five napkins? What are we, detailin' a car or eatin' lunch? So I go. Of course I go. I'm not dead yet. I sit down, order the burger. Guy brings it out like he's carryin' a newborn. There's a hush. I swear to you, a hush. First bite--first bite--and it's like the Hoover Dam gave up. Juice everywhere. Structural integrity? Forget it. This thing collapses like a bad alibi. I'm laughin', kid. I'm laughin' like a man who just beat the odds. Napkin one--gone. Two--gone. Three--I'm in survival mode now. Four--this is gettin' biblical. By five? By five I'm not even a person anymore. I'm an event. I'm a situation. And here's the thing--they knew. They knew what they were doin'. This ain't sloppy by accident. This is engineering. This is art. This is a burger that looks you in the eye and says, "You don't eat me. You endure me." So yeah. You go ahead, try your little artisanal whatever with the aioli and the personality crisis. That's fine. Live your life. But don't come to me--don't come to me--until you've gone the distance. Until you've stared down five napkins and come out the other side changed. Now pass me that cup. The ice melted, but the message didn't.
