A superhero needs to come and save these sandwiches. K-Town Hero is one of the newest stalls to open next to H Mart inside the 2nd largest mall in America. With so many food options my sister wanted to try this place. The sandwiches are created by a Michelin Korean chef, Hooni Kim. All I can say is that both my sister and I were very disappointed. My sister got their popular bulgogi and I opted for their mushroom. Our assessment of the sandwiches is a 4/10. We didn't care for the slightly spicy orange dressing on the sandwiches. There were two types of mushrooms in mine. I was surprised that they used huge button mushrooms. Sure it's meaty but button mushrooms usually lack flavor. Come on, Chef Kim, I expected shiitake instead. My sister let me have some of her kimchi fries. I tried one and didn't want anymore. And this is coming from a huge French fry kind of gal. Don't understand the rave reviews.

But, the brisket sandwich is pitiful. It's what my uncle would call "a wish sandwich." You wish it had more meat. You wish for it to taste better than it does. You wish...! And, they have the nerve to charge thirteen bucks for that thing. It was around 1:15pm and the place was empty. That should've been my first clue. But it wasn't a total bust!!! As mentioned above, the curly fries were good and the Resting Peach Face drink tasted like a liquified, spirited, peach gummi ring. I loved it! Gotta give a shout out to Shea (or maybe he spells it Shay?) He was awesooooome! Would I go back. For drinks, maybe. Not for the food cos truth be told, I've purchased frozen curly fries from the supermarket that taste just as good if not better ('specially if made in the air fryer). My daughter is very expressive when she likes something. She said nothing about her BBQ chicken. Nothing. But she did love her drink. She also had a Resting Peach Face. If I were to return, it'd definitely be for the drinks.

I got the drunken cocktail, but it sounded better than it tasted. I should have asked that the sweet tea be omitted, it didn't pair well with everything else in the drink. My daughter's friend got empanadas, which she didn't like at all. My daughter got loaded nachos with brisket. She said the brisket was dry, but everything else was good. I really enjoyed my BBQ wings. I was on the fence with the brisket chili. It tasted...odd. Not terrible, but not really good either. My husband's pork belly (I think that's what it was) was very good. Overall, it was ok, just not good enough to return if we are ever in the area again.

THE GOOD ----------------…read more+ Plenty of Asian food vendors to choose from! 10ish from my count, including Tous de Jous and Gong Cha at the entrance. ++++ Food vendors include BBQ Chicken, Don Don Curry, Sang's Tofu and K-BBQ, Jeong's Noodle, Wok Bar, Gold Miss and many more. + All of the food from the vendors are reasonably priced at $10-$25, with the more expensive entrees being EASILY shareable amongst 2-3 people. Some have Grab and Go sections too. + They have a big retail area to the side that sells stationary, accessories and lifestyle products - beware of letting your young kids into it because you might leave a few bucks light in your wallet! + PLENTY of tables and seats inside, even when crowded. + Right across from the hugeee H Mart food market. RANDOM OBSERVATIONS -------------------------------------- = Recently dined in on a Friday evening from 6-7:30 PM and it was prettty busy inside, but still had a lot of open tables. The mall DOES get crazy crowded on Saturday evenings, so can imagine the same happening in the H Mart Food Hall as well during peak lunch and dinner dining times.

I will warn that the batter is a bit thick so I heavily advise you eat over the container so it doesn't drop off the stick and onto the floor. The hotdog or sausage they used tasted better than the cheese too (in my opinion). And I love that right outside there is a plethora of sauces you can drizzle on top! Ordering was done via a self service kiosk too and then you took a little buzzer that went off when your order was ready which was cute.

We have been meaning to try Marcus Live for some time and got the chance today. We arrived early, so seating was ample. It is a comfortable place to be, with good music, rock and roll memorabilia, and a warm ambiance. Service was kind, attentive, prompt, and efficient. Entire space was spotlessly clean and well-kept. My other half and I each opted for the double smash burger and truffle fries. Fries were excellent: crispy, well-seasoned, not greasy, and flavorful. The burgers were juicy, flavorful, and bacon and onions were cooked perfectly. I wished I had a second one. Is it the best burger I've had? Honestly, no. But it's up there for sure. I enjoyed it enough for it to make me go back, which says a lot. Overall, a very nice experience. Will definitely return.

This place had plenty of empty seats so we were able to get seated quickly. They asked if we wanted the tables combined and we said sure, and they combined it into... an L shape...?? How strange haha there was definitely enough room to keep them straight. We were there to celebrate someone's birthday so we made the birthday girl sit in the crook of the L so she could swivel and talk to everyone lol. I ordered the B&G prime burger and I think the waitress was confused because she said it was a smash burger and would come with crispy onions... the patties were definitely not smashed and there were no onions at all. I think she was thinking of the double smash burger. The patties were also not seasoned properly, so it tasted bland to me and there wasn't that nice crust the seasoning would have formed (iykyk). We also got the cornbread as an app, which was good, especially with the honey butter and the jam it came with, but it was really small and not worth the $12 at all. They were also out of several items like the deviled eggs, NY strip, and grilled branzino. I don't know how common it is for restaurants to run out of menu items so early in the day (it was like 2pm) but just something to note. Although our server was nice and I'm glad we were able to get seated right away, I probably won't come back here. The food is just average and portions are too small for the price. Also just fyi, the large group gratuity they included on our bill was 20%. I feel like I usually see 18% at other places.
