the service has always been top notch and the CS is wonderful and pleasant. the detailing service puts them over the top. even the general service is good the works are pleasant and works with a good attitude read more

Great car wash service . I come here often. I would like for them to clean the console a little better when they go in for vacuuming. A wet rag in the cup holder area would be nice ‍ read more

In town from California, visiting my daughter...took her car for a wash to SSS Express. Overall a very poor job. External- they ran the car through the wash and wiped it down. There was still bird droppings that was not taken off. With a little rub I was able to take them off, so it wasn't like the droppings were difficult to take off. Internal: I asked for a interior detail and all they did was shampoo my rugs (which was done well). Outside of that, the rest of the interior was done very poorly. Streak marks were left on the screens. And many areas in corners, dust was still evident/ untouched. I am used to California quality, SSS Express would be buried in California. They wouldn't last more than a year before folks would figure out they are not up to the standard or worth the money they charge. I can't recommend this facility/ business. Find another good quality car wash or grab a beer out of the fridge and do it yourself at home. read more

They claimed to have vacuumed my car but there was still dirt. Outside wash was equally as bad. Looked similar to when I brought it in. Shady operation. read more

They did a good job cleaning inside and out...but really...$60 for a wash, carpet wash, and wipe down back seat?? Way overpriced in my opinion. I went on a Saturday afternoon around 4pm and although they were busy I was in and out in approx 30 mins...And again...$60 for a car wash?? It was 13.99 for express wash, $36.99 for cleaning carpets and $9.99 to clean the backseat ( i have 2 small children and wanted it cleaned. However, I have leather seats so it wasn't like they had to vacuum those) I might go back but just pay for the express wash. read more

The Wheel Express option is my choice here. Outside and inside cleaning (vacuum and wipe down and window cleaning)without the amount of time it takes for detailing and tires dressed. I never have to wait long to get the process started. You pay for the service inside the building after leaving your car at the vacuum station. Lost star as I see the towels for drying the car left on the ground. Not so great for collecting dirt and possibly rocks but they go to laundry next. And I usually have to remind the dryers to wipe the cupholders and cubby holes on the console area down. It is remedied but the pattern is consistent. Tips appreciated (i usually hand in with my receipt)reminder: stamped receipt goes to the person calling you to your car. It isn't a fancy spot as far as waiting area but it's fine for what it is and pricing. read more

Really disappointed. I usually go to another full-service wash but opted to try this place because of how close to home it is... could not be more disappointed. Road dust still in areas that are very obvious, rear view mirror not wiped, cup holders not vacuumed, debris still throughout doors not wiped. And, when I grabbed a towel to wipe my car myself, no one even bothered to come ask if everything was ok. Won't be returning. I will continue to drive further for far better care and service. And likely today because my car is still dirty... read more

I would give them zero stars if i could. If i'm paying for someone to clean my car and it's still dirty, you clean the dirty spots without giving attitude when i question it. Had similar issues as other users, who would've thought that being friendly is part of customer service and that is how you maintain customers and not lose them. read more

I appreciate the hustle but it looked the same way it look when I clean it -_-. So what you're really paying for is the convenience which isn't necessarily the best thing because it may look rushed. The outside of my car was still dirty as hell and I have a white car so I was like what the what lol. read more

I am so very disappointed in the service I received today! I expressed to the attendant at check-in that I had just been on a road trip and there were a lot of bugs on the front of my car. After the car wash most of the bugs still remained and there were new scratches on the hood that were not there before my wash. When brought to the attention of the attendant I was told they don't use anything but a soft cloth... I'm telling you those scratches weren't there before. I got dismissed and they walked away from me, problem not resolved, carpets still have dog hair, rear windows dirty and bug splatter all over the place. I am so incredibly disappointed! read more

I like this place, it's always great to have someone else wash and vacuum your car. The exterior of my car was super clean and shiny, but because I have a dog and they missed a couple spots of hair in the interior but they didn't keep me waiting long and their customer service was awesome. I will definitely come back read more

I do not like this place, even tho I been there a couple of times for cleaning emergencies ( because it's by my house) every time I'm not happy, you really only pay for the car to go thru the machine wash and get it dry. They do "vacuum" inside the car. But when I asked if they can wipe it inside I was told I paid for just wash.., okay. Also the guys that pull you thru the line are rude, I remember the first time I didn't know what to do and he scream at me to drive forward Def try not to go here, I tell myself I might as well spray the car myself at the car wash.. read more

I had a handicap place card in the glove box, as i used it the day before. When i went to get it out of the glove box later that day after the car wash it was missing. I cannot prove anything, but I will not be going back to Triple SSS again. read more

This used to be the best place in the area to get your car washed, but they've gone downhill. There's an express line to just do the exterior, but the problem is that you can't get to it conveniently because the entrance is too small. So guess what? You get to wait in line with every one who wants their interior done. Many employees are rude as well (like the one we asked if we could go in the other entrance for express - where there were NO cars waiting). read more

I have never felt more ripped off! My mom bought me a gift card here for Christmas, the gift card was clear and concise saying that she paid $60.98 for the "best wash" and a detailing service. On my first visit, they refused to clean my vehicle because they were closing in 35 minutes, despite the 10 employees standing around doing absolutely nothing. Needless to say I was polite and told them I would be back at 10 till 8 the next morning so I could be waiting when they opened. Fast forward to the next morning..... I pull up and the guy takes my car (don't expect a smile and a "good morning" your not going to get it here) He had explained the night before my gift card was only good for 1 detailing service and I had to pick between, the carpets, the interior leather, plastic & vinyl or the outside. I picked the interior stuff. He then proceeded to downgrade my wash even though it was clearly written on my gift card, he said she didn't pay enough money for me to get that. (The cashier did fix that for me) I go inside and sit down with my things only to have another gentleman come in and tell me my seats will be $9.99 a row. What the heck??? Isn't that the leather interior.... you don't vacuum the seats?? He said they vacuum them but wouldn't do any additional cleaning. By the way their "waiting area is disgusting, everything is dirty and I don't know if the chairs came in gray or have turned that color over tAt this point I'm so frustrated with all of these hidden and add on costs I'm just ready to get out of there. They did not do a good job, I will not be returning or recommending them. Also... side note: my car took 35 minutes! read more

I come to SSS to get my car washed every week. They are always professional and do an excellent job cleaning my car. I bought my new car in January 2019 and have been bringing it in to be washed at SSS for the past 6 months. I am very pleased with the service I receive at SSS. read more

SSS is a local institution. They've been here as long as I can remember. They do a solid job and are not particularly expensive. They used to give out coupons in various ways, but seem to have given up on the practice. read more

Inside of my car was super dusty and full of pollen. I haven't got my interior vacuumed and cleaned in probably over a year. A friend recommended me this place so I stopped by today for the interior clean and I couldn't have been any happier with the job they did! They wiped everything down, cleaned and treated all my vinyl and trim, my leather seats have a nice shiny gloss to them, mats were cleaned, carpet vacuumed really well, all windows were cleaned and wiped smudge free! Looks just how I bought it from the dealership. Will def be back again. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because this is first detailing shop I have been to in Virginia so I can't really compare it to anything else. read more

Received a interior detail as well as a car wash. Job well done , also staff was great !

Love the personnel they are hard workers who take the time to do it right. Coming here is almost as good as doing it myself lol.

SSS is quick, decent customer service and they get the job done. I would say you can find a better quality of car wash with cheaper prices. Basic prices start at $23.99. I would go back to them in a hurry. read more

Just move to Norfolk last August and was looking for a car wash that I could count on...because I was lucky enough to find one in NC. It was close by and I felt good about taking it. They were done in five minutes. Needless to say I know how long a good car cleaning and waxing it and it is not done in 5 min. It was a really bad job, they offered to clean what they had missed and it was A LOT! but I just said no and told them I would not come back or send any friends there. They did not seem to care one bit. Just know you will have to redo A LOT of what they missed. read more

Had some adhesive left on the hood of my jeep where the dealer removed an American flag decal. Dealer told me to take it to a detailer, have it removed, and send them the bill. Took it to SSS. After I explained what I needed, the gentlemen at SSS said "that is not what we do." He then got a bottle of something from the detailing team, and attempted to wipe it off. Made it worse. Go somewhere else. read more

I am so angry I had to pull over and rate this place. I patronized this business for over 12 years trusted this establishment with my then brand new vehicle this is before the dealerships offered free car washes for life. They did everything to my then vehicle and when things were not right they fixed it. I noticed that the service at this car wash establishment focus more on quantity instead of quality Well today with my new vehicle I Thank you for the birthday greetings how much for an interior vacuum I only had my CC and did not have change I was told by their. New supervisor that he was busy and can't do it. It's not a service they offer he would just do it. 1. I never asked for a free service 2. There was only 2 vehicles and 4 employees doing absolutely nothing My advice is take your vehicle to Jay Jays on 21st street, Autobell.they focus in customer service and the quality of their service read more

This business, if anything, is only average. I have been here about 4 times solely for a quick wash and basic vacuuming service. Each time leaving with only small complaints; encountering a particularly rude employee or a window that was missed while they quickly cleaned the interior upon exiting. Today however, with a pile of petrified french fries around my husband's seat and milk splatters all over the back seat from my 10 month old haunting my dreams of usual neatness, I sprung for the costly "Interior Super Clean." Upon entering the parking lot, I felt hopeful. There were only two other cars there besides my own, and I hoped it wouldn't take too long for my services to be completed by the roughly 10+ person staff. I pulled into the line the nearest employee was beckoning too and immediately was approached by a man who wasn't quite familiar with their list of services, because upon mentioning my desire for the "Interior Super Clean" the man just looked entirely confused. After leaving for a few minutes to talk to another employee, he finally walks over to the ticket printer, prints out my receipt and walks back over to my window. This next portion of the experience I never really have any complaints about. There is a long hallway you enter once exiting your car that has a couple windows in it. You can watch your car go through and get washed by an automated system. After paying and exiting, I then see my car sitting out in the parking lot being cleaned even further by a few employees, windows cleaned inside and any water leftover from the wash wiped off. There were a bunch of towels laying around the parking lot ground, pretty much abandoned, and it looked kind of trashy. But here's where it gets less then amazing for me. I had paid around 80 bucks for my car to be detailed inside and out. A shorter lady approached me after wiping down all my windows and told me it was all done. Confusion ensued. I tried telling her that I had paid for an interior detailing and she was just not going to listen to anything I said. After trying to tell her for about the 3rd time that "No, my car is NOT done, it needs interior detailing," a man just jumps in my car and pulls it into the detailing area. The woman then points to the Tip box and walks away. After that little encounter I sat on the concrete bench outside and watched my car get detailed. It took about an hour. The finished product was satisfactory, but nothing special. read more

Maybe I should of checked the reviews myself before going.....exterior is clean, amazing their auto wash didn't even touch wheels unless you pay for "extra" wheel attention, im guessing? Then the interior still had dirt on the floor and seats, I just vacuumed a couple days ago so it should of been better with going to them. The center console is still dirty so no wipe down even present, overall I am disappointed and sadly will not be returning. I did give two stars because I support local business but at least attempt to have a better quality than the big corporations. read more

I have been coming here for the last year but I don't think I'll be coming back. Interior still dirty and didn't vacuum the right way. Paid almost $ 19.00 and they got done in no time. So disappointed read more

They only thing worth going is the automatic car wash. Even though I put my seats down for them to vacuum they still didn't bother vacuuming or wiping the back cargo area in my SUV. Not to mention the center console wasn't even touched. A couple of years ago they were great to go to, but NOT WORTH IT now! read more

SSS Express Car Wash Center - I'll never go to SSS Car Wash. EVAH! - Car Wash Near Me - Norfolk, Virginia

This place was is the slowest car wash in the area. I waited 4 hours just to have them start on it. The front desk clerk will not give you any heads up on wait time. Save your money and TIME go elsewhere! read more

The service attendant who took the car was a rude. Acted like he didn't have time to answer one simple question when I first drove up. When I pulled the car to the drop off point I had to take the time to write down the odometer reading since it was a commercially owned vehicle. He waited outside the car very impatiently, barking orders through a closed window. I ignored him. When I opened the door, he tried to get in the car before I was getting out. Relax dude. I wont fault the place because of one bad employee. However, when they pulled the vehicle around there was still a large build up of tree sap several feet long on the roof that they failed to clean. It appeared as if they didn't even inspect the vehicle after it went though the wash. What am I paying almost $16 of company money for if they can't even ensure the vehicle is actually clean? That is the whole purpose of this business. I recommend taking your vehicle somewhere where customer service is important. read more

Initially It seem like a good deal but be sure to read smaller print, like for each service it's an additional $10:00 if it's an SUV. That don't have a premium pAckage that includes Everything. So to have my car washed ,vacuumed ,tires and trim, carpet shampooed and interior cleaned cost $155.00. And then when I went to look at the detailing, they hadn't opened any of the doors to clean the door jams, no dressing on the black trim. Had left dust on the bumpers and the door for the gas had not been wiped cleaned. No discounts, slacked work and poor attention to detail. The carpets looked liked they had been sprayed with a topical cleaner and vacuumed over and soaking wet. No deodorizer use either. Expected Better for The cost. Will not be returning. read more
