I was looking for a specialty finish, like a truck bed liner, added to the rocker panels and fenders of my H3. I got what I wanted and the desultory was better than I expected. Danny and his team, in my estimation, went above and beyond. They fixed and repaired the rust patch, and injected rust inhibitors into the lower door sections, and had the customized urethane finished sprayed on and colour matched. From pulling into their lot and being greeted by Danny, the explication of their process, and Danny's expert preventative addition, I was completely confident in leaving my baby Hummer in his hands. We found JR's and…read moregot the price in writing by email, as I now always do with every company just incase of any miscommunication of the job or price. So we took our brand new vehicle to JR's for 3 m Tape, Undercoating, and Ceramic Coating. The results are beautiful! The vehicle doesn't get dirty as easily in slush, it's like a teflon pan where things slide off. The tape was done really well as for the undercoating, it SEEMS great, but time will tell with this. But regardless there is a good warranty and they will check it and touch it up if it needs anything done. As for the price, we recieved in writing and on our receipt, it was exact. The price was far better than any of the other 4 shops quoted my husband by hundreds of $s. They needed to keep the vehicle for 2 days so each process dried properly and when we picked it up we could not be more pleased. JR walked us around the vehicle, explained how to care for it, gave us a bottle of Graphine to keep up the ceramic coating every two months, (the lady at reception explained exactly how to use it) and they asked us to come back every 1.5 to 2 years to check on the undercoating in case it requires a touch up and to keep the warranty in good standing. We feel the warranties are really good on these processes too. It has been about a month and we feel the quality of work done is really great and the processes look amazing with the vehicle looking really shiny and very clean! Damage was done to the paint and JR's told us it was paint defect and to go talk to the dealership. After consulting the dealer as well as 3 body shops they all confirmed it was from a heat gun or some tool used to apply the front end paint protection. Wouldn't set foot in a place that can't admit when they make a mistake and own up to it. Had they done so I may have a better opinion of this business but as of right now. Not a chance. I had been to this location before with no issues, however Jan 19, 2026 was a very different experience. After my service appointment, I had another appointment to get to. While driving my brake pedal felt different, it went lower to the floor to brake and there was a clicking noise - both issues were not there before my service appointment. After my appointment I checked my brake fluid, to see if it had leaked. It was still at the max line and was still dirty.I called the Shop and explained my concerns and they said come by before they close. A fella took my suv and looked it over and came back and said it was fine. Again I expressed my concern and that the pedal didn't feel right, but they were not interested in checking further. The fella at the shop said that the problem probably was the brake master cylinder and power brake booster. He quoted me about $1,400 plus to fix that. I left and went home, worried. Jan 20 l sent an email to the Shop explaining again that things didn't seem normal, and the fluid still looked dirty. That I wondered if there was air was in the brake system. I asked for them to check my suv again. No one replied with a solution.Brakes are important and having the system operate correctly is important for safety. I made an appointment at another shop. They took my suv for a test drive, came back and agreed something was not operating correctly. They showed me the brake fluid they pulled out and how dirty it was, while performing the service and fixed things so they were operating as they should. The $1,400 repair 1 was quoted was not the issue! Jan 28 | emailed 7eighty again and told them I had to go else where to have my suv fixed and new brake fluid added. I had asked for a refund on the brake flush. Asking for a refund I do not think is unreasonable, it's the least they could do. Again after 24 hours I got no response.1 am so upset and frustrated that 7eighty did not do their due diligence in making sure their work was done properly and was SAFE! I feel I have done the right things by telling them my concerns, giving them time to recheck their work and make things right. I would NOT recommend going to 7eighty for service. They do not seem to take the safety of their customers seriously. They lack respect, pride and integrity in the work they perform for customers. BEWARE TAKING YOUR CAR HERE.

After an awful experience with Craftsman Collisions / Distinctive Auto Works, I cannot in good…read morefaith recommend this company. In my opinion, they were inconsiderate and unprofessional, and I will not be going back. One of their employees broke my key fob and the company refuses to pay for a new one. To repair what they broke is going to cost an estimated $400 -$600, which is more than the cost of the wheel they repaired. If I hadn't gone here, I would have saved money. To top it off, they let my lights stay on and let my battery die, sent my estimate and information to the wrong person, and they did not wear masks when speaking to me in the business. On November 3, I brought my car in for a wheel replacement to Craftsman Collisions/Distinctive Auto Works. I gave my keys to a tow truck and they delivered the keys on the same day with the car to Craftsman Collision. The tow truck company and its driver attest the keys were intact when they handed them over. I have it in writing from the tow company owner that the keys were intact. I watched him use my non-fob key to move the car. He claims he did not use the fob key at all. On November 10, after paying for the work done at Craftsman and heading back out to my car, I found not only a dead battery (my car refused to start), but the broken half of my key fob on the side of my dashboard. They had given me my keys when I paid but neglected to tell me that the key fob was now broken, and that they left the other half on my dashboard for me. Whoever had last driven my car had left the lights on, killing the battery. They did not apologize for the delay and brought someone out to jump my car. They had said my car was "drivable" when I paid. However, I was not able to drive it out of the parking lot until they jumped it. I had to wait for 30 minutes for the car to recharge, which inconvenienced me as I was late for an appointment. Regarding the broken key fob, I brought it back to the shop and inquired why it was broken. The Manager for Distinctive Auto Works did not answer my question of if someone at Craftsman/DAW broke my fob. He did, however, say several times "you don't have proof we broke it". He asked if I had a photo of the keys before I brought them in. I said no. He said "then you have no proof." I didn't think to take a picture of my keys before I handed them over as "proof" they were intact. But who would think to do that? Is it my fault I didn't take a picture before handing them over? Is this the norm for service at Craftsman Collision and Distinctive Auto Works? Should I endeavour to bring my camera with me before dropping off my vehicle to ensure it's no worse than when it came in? In the end, the Manager admitted he would be willing to cover half of the cost of the labour and the cost of the part. I refused to pay for any of the key fob replacement, as I did not break the key. I do not have money to shell out for more repairs let alone hundreds of dollars of damage that I should not have to pay for. Also, if none of their technicians broke my key, why would they offer to pay at all? In my opinion, I cannot recommend this location for its concerning lack of professionalism. If you have no other choice, please take pictures of your vehicle and keys beforehand, as their Manager, will not assist you unless you have "absolute proof", as shown from my experience. Moreover, the Assistant Manager of Craftsman Collisions also initially sent my estimate - which had my personal information - to the wrong email. He did not apologize. Someone out there now has my information. Businesses should endeavour to keep their customers' information private and should take care in making sure they have the correct address. Careless behaviour of employees is not the mark of a professional, well-run business, in my opinion. Both the Assistant Manager and Manager did not wear masks while speaking to me, violating CMOH Order 44-2021.
