I was having serious muscle spasms in my neck and shoulders and anyone who's ever had that knows how painful it is! I did everything at home on my own before I decided to see a doctor and i told her that. I TOTALLY understand that doctors can't just hand out narcotics for everyone who walks in their doors. But in my case I was in desperate need of getting my pain under control. She tells me to take Aleve and I told her my fear is that it won't work with the amount of pain I was in but she didn't care. She told me if it doesn't work then go see my primary care doctor (which I should have done in the first place). I told her I wanted to sleep and not lay awake in pain. She "promised" the Aleve would work but what do you know, I lay awake all night tossing and turning in so much pain. I felt ignored and that my pain wasn't important to her. I will not be going back!!! I am STILL in pain. I just pray that it will go away soon so that I can take care of my kids again the way they need their mom to take care of them. Instead I lay here in pain with my Aleve.

Her bedside manner is great, and I think she's been reasonable and helpful with rendering care. She's also been flexible with allowing me to do some visits virtually, if practical. I read others' comments regarding other members of the practice, to which I really cannot comment. I've met with NP Hayden, and spoken several times via phone to Dr. Miller. All of whom have given practical and reasonable medical advice. The front office staff has always been pleasant and kind with me. I am a big believer in the idea that you receive what you give--kindness included (not always, but most of the time). People are just people, sometimes we have good days, and other times-- not so much. I am not saying it's ok to be rude, but it's not been my experience that any of the staff here have treated me poorly. I also think it's been a positive addition to the practice to bring on a full-time phlebotomist, which has made blood draws faster and much easier. I enjoy the convenience of not needing to be referred out to another lab for routine lab work. I have a stomach condition thats never gotten more than 10 minutes and a new pill. Now I have a different eating schedule and meal plan to wean me off my prescriptions. She even called pharmacies to make sure they had my meds.
