I went to St Charles in extreme pain and returned home in extreme pain . They lied in their notes stating I have no numbness in my legs and only pain in my left leg which is untrue. I literally have excruciating pain in my lower back, hips, buttocks and it runs down BOTH legs and they go numb on me. Then on my list of medications it still has medicines I haven't taken in years and years. They sent me home with noroflex which I told them was doing absolutely nothing to help me with extreme pain. That is why it took me two days to go to the ER. Because I couldn't handle the pain. I just feel like my pain wasn't taken seriously and now I'm at home crying unable to sleep or move because I'm in excruciating pain . Greetings, I have ALREADY made multiple complaints about this visit in which I was not cared for but mistreated and sent home to die in a hypertensive crisis with a BP of 123/110 while the corrupt Dr. Wesley Martus took part in a racketeering enterprise of criminals who tried to murder me on 5/12/20 and a few times after that including the day I went here. Instead of helping me he helped himself to a bribe and put in my permanent record that I was delusional. I presented him paperwork from Federal Court and told him I had obtained a lengthy PPO against a Government House speaker in Michigan whom was / is the ringleader of my current gang stalkers. He said I was delusional because I said they were trying to murder me. He denied me the heavy metal testing that would have proven I was poisoned even though my levels were in range of the poison being in my system and my body lacking insulin intake . He knew I was attacked the very same say causing the internal bleeding and colluded with the doctors office to give them an excuse to threaten me. He violated the HIPAA Law by sharing information as the office nor any doctor there are on my medical file. At first the notes were not available but I seen them yesterday where he tried to cover his tracks. Fact is he wrote on my discharge papers my BP was high at 120/80 which is far below the crisis I was suffering which is known as silent death at level 2. I received a EKG which proved I had a heart attack and am high risk and should have been admitted and treated. He did neither. In fact he came into my room when I called him to tell him I was getting severely dizzy and wanted my head checked. He giggled uncontrollably as he told me I was in perfect health and had been taking very good care of myself following he would not be doing anything else but he would be discharging me. I did tell him I was a faithful servant of the Lord thy God of the 10 Commandments as I confess I am and always will be. I see he trying to cover his tracks by the new notes he put on the record but the facts are the FACTS he knew I was in a crisis, he knew I was bleeding internally, he knew the police were trying to murder me and the heart attack that showed on the EKG was the first attempt which is proof beyond any reasonable doubt . But he chose to join in with my attackers for gain and send me off to die. Knowing I had to drive over 1 hour home and could have wrecked my car and killed other innocent people. He disregarded human life in many aspects not just mine . He acted reckless and negligent for his own gain . I did place a Testimony on him before I left as it is the heritage of the servants of the Lord thy God of the 10 Commandments to do this to anyone whom harms them. I noticed right after he got the call from neurology and or a visit from one of my stalkers he had a patient that had a stroke and they called a code. I pray he has repented and turns away from the devil he made a deal with because I know about Testimonies given as sentences by Our Father the Creator The Devine Lord thy God of the 10 Commandments and I know I will never put myself in a place like that nor will I ever disrespect My Father God like he and they have. It is an utter disgrace. Furthermore I would like my record amended and for it to be corrected with the TRUTH! He said I was probably schizophrenic and untreated which is deformation of character. He noted I had said this before and it is true I told the truth since day one and and schizophrenic person would have many different stories on over a 4 year span since I recovered from the dementia that was induced on me the day I received the induced heart attack. Not the very same truth story that is now in The Supreme Court of America and the Court of Appeals in Cincinnati Ohio in which I gave him the Chain of Custody paper to sign and he ignored which is already sent this information and the paperwork he falsified and his not treating me but sending me home to die giggling like he just won the lottery... Disgusting is how I feel about this man and his uncontrollable giggling as he sent me off to die and potentially harm or kill other innocent people. I am not delusional I AM A SERVANT OF THE MOST HIGH GOD THAT WILL STOP AT NOTHING TO LET THE WHOLE TRUTH BE TOLD! And as for him and the other on this notes from this hospital and the others whom initiated this attack and attempted murder that he is now accessory to ... Went at 530 am on November 18. For Knee Replacement surgery. Checking was easy and fast. The nurse who took me vitals wow very nice and fun d a excellent job Dr Bradley Morse performed my surgery. Nice car guy an a helluva surgeon. I recovery my nurse Lisa was outstanding. Answered all my questions and was very helpful. My PT therapist got me and moving. Went and climbed stairs. I repaired to ST. Charles for an outpatient bronchoscopy with RUIZ and BERNARDO Pulmonology group. All was well. Here is where I lost faith in all medical folks and their institutions. As they began to intubate me, I had swelling in my throat. Now according to NHI and J HPOKINS; as well as the MAYO CLINIC (no google-direct contact with the correct persons) when one arrives to be intubated and is an RA patient it is the responsibility of the DOCTOR to do an inflammatory marker test pre intubation and an ultrasound of the throat. They did not. I was intubated for 12 days because of throat swelling. I have not received all my bills yet for this failure to do no harm, but I am counting on it being hundreds of thousands of dollars. One cannot sue the doctors as malpractice lawyers only sue if someone dies and they are going to make a million dollars. Well, St Charles team in ICU did well saving the docs from a poor decision and I am alive. For that I am grateful. After step down care the overall care was methodic, uncaring, and negligent. I saw a.m. nurses. 5p nurses. 10p nurses. They sat at the central station. I could not walk and was told I could not be released until I no longer needed a 2 person assist. So, I grabbed my walker and set off the alarms and started walking to the toilet. I had no health care recovery plan and just sat, isolated from others, unable to speak due to throat damage and with nothing to do. ICU delirium is real. Sadly, the not so well-educated doctors and medical team is not aware of this so to cope with the patients they just stay away. I SAW NOONE. They lost my personal items. I had to get a family member who is an insurance adjuster to contact them to tell them to get busy on my discharge plan. I sat for five days in a room with no PT, OT or even a basic conversation about what had happened. I was unable to speak or communicate my needs. If I rang the nurse alarm, they would ask me to speak up. Once I complained, or Gwen Complained, they came running. OH boy here comes the PT and OT. Really.? I would be delighted to pay for your trips and sports cars and better than my lifestyles, because your customer service, and general operational practices are sub-standard. I heard my diagnosis from my family member, a radiologist, told me the botched biopsy showed I was cancer free and just inherited my grandmother's lungs. ICU NURSES get an A+. At this time in my life, I would not return to St, Charles for care. Nor the pulmonology group. Pulmonology came up with a need for me to return to them by saying I had sleep apnea (of course I did they tore up my throat). What has become of the medical field. So very sad. Thailand has the highest rated care. Maybe that should be a trip for the administrators to take to see what they have that we don't. Grees? read more

I was admitted to St. Charles on 9/20/21. I was diagnosed with Covid 19. I spent 7 days in ICU, 10 days in isolation and 3 days in a regular room. The nurses, assistants, respatory were all AMAZING. Every single person I came in contact with for 20 days were again the absolute best! My doctors were also great! I was born at St. Charles, my kids were born there. I would not go any place else! Sat in ER for possible kidney stones finally left after 3 hours. Front desk girl was not nice or helpful. They took two patients back with twisted knees that came in after me. Also a lady that came in after me cause she started yelling. Not sitting there anymore! Plus they didn't even wipe down seats in the waiting room when people got up. Happy COVID!! read more

I'm writing this in regards to the pain management part of the hospital. First of all, my mother is a cancer patient. She WAS in the program for almost 10 years. Every one of her doctor's, including her oncologist told her to get a marijuana card so she could try that because it helps with the pain. She never would. My mom HAS NEVER DONE DRUGS other than what is prescribed to her. Mind u, she's has CANCER and was a patient there for ALMOST TEN YEARS!!!! Finally, she took the advice from her oncologist and tried an edible... She didn't like it, but she put forth the effort. Well she was in a nursing home for a little while and I went, picked her up from there to take her to her monthly appointment only to be told that she's no longer allowed there as she tested positive for marijuana! I understand that it's not as accepting in Ohio right now, but c'mon! My mom is 71 AND NOT A DRUG ADDICT. They sure could've talked with her to see what was going on, but they didn't. They treated her like she was a pain seeking drug addict. So disheartening. Where is the empathy?? How would they feel if that was their family?? I WOULD NEVER recommend this place to anyone. Wouldn't even take my animals there. The head woman in charge, Elaine wouldn't even take my mom's phone calls. But EVERYTHING happens for a reason and now she's treated WITH THE RESPECT/EMPATHY that she DESERVES! DO BETTER, ST. CHARLES. I cannot say enough good things about Mercy Health St. Charles Hospital, Dr. Bleibel and his staff. They were so informative and helpful all through the lead up and procedure and checked on me afterword to make sure I was doing well. They are the best and I would encourage anyone with GI problems to use them. They were also very friendly and so easy to work with. read more

I went to the ER unable to walk something happened to my knee. They did my vitals and did a ultrasound for blood clot, and referred me to an ortho. No X-rays at all!! I left the hospital with no medication, brace , not even a compression wrap or medication for pain when clearly I was in excruciating pain. I had to takeoff work five days because I could not stand on my leg only to find out that I had a torn meniscus that ended up needing repaired. I found this to be totally negligent.The staff was good but I had to purchase my own compression wraps and ordered a brace on line. I do nor recommend there ER!! read more

I love this hospital, never had a bad stay, nurses caring and understanding. Do wish though we could go back to the old days when we had a backrub and help with bathing etc. This paper work is not helpful to patients. read more

My elderly mother has been in the hospital for nearly two weeks from a colonoscopy gone bad that her family doctor never should have ordered. However, even with this trauma the nurses, doctors, and physical therapists have been wonderful and sincerely caring. My mom is in the newer section of the hospital and it is very nice but rooms are small and furniture is dated. Food is VERY good. read more

This hospital is a joke. There is zero communication between Er doctors and the other regular doctors in the hospital. Due to there terrible communication and terrible nurses I had to stay much longer then necessary for a chest tube. Upon being able to go home I had to wait several hours just for a lung specialist to come and listen to me breathe just so I can be discharged. At night the nurses talk loudly and right outside your door with no regard for me or other patients trying to "rest". I will never return to this hospital ever not even for a simple checkup. If you have a choice take the extra minute drive to Bay Park and stay in a real hospital because St. Charles is a joke. read more

Probably the slowest ER in the country, only 5 people in the waiting room when we got here, tons of nurses walking around back in the ER and we have been here already for 5 HOURS!! They are definitely not in a state of emergency. read more
