Really annoying delays when we would talk. We kept talking over each other. Difficult to understand, & they didn't see to have any compassion. Just another phone call. I called St David's & talked to a real local person, who empathized with me. Night & day difference & the choice was clear. I had a couple tests scheduled at the outpatient imaging center. The day of my testing, everyone I interacted with was smiling, upbeat, & so friendly. They seemed to go out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. Big shout out to Ashley who helped me with my Hida scan.

i've gone to this urgent care over the years. the wait time varies but is often long…read more I appreciate being able to email them my health history and medication list, as both are long & complex. I think my doing that may be why the Dr who saw me took me seriously, (i saw he had printed out my health history and had highlighted things in it) and spent more time with me than others have. I was super anxious, wayyyyg overtired, and experiencing very intense restless leg (and other parts of my body) syndrome with many forceful spasms, all my muscles in my body were tightly clenched and i couldn't get them to relax and I was also in a lot of pain (this was due to a recent medication change, and my having a bad reaction to it), which I told them. So, at first I was disappointed because Dr. Joe told me that they couldn't give me muscle relaxers bc they would amplify the effects of the drug i was on that I was badly reacting to, so I felt like crying because i didn't know what to do, how to get help. Dr. Joe recommended I go back to my original dosage of the medication, and took the time to show me stretches i could do, and recommended that I take pedialyte or coconut water, and use arnica cream. i followed his advice, got the arnica tablets for leg cramps (i took 6) and the arnica cream for arthritic relief, which i rubbed all over myself. i drank coconut water and went back to my usual dosage of the medication, and did stretches and doing these things worked; got a full 8 hrs of sleep and only had a few leg spasms the whole night! my muscles feel relaxed now, and I am super grateful for that. I appreciate Dr. Joe listening and taking me seriously and recommending all he did, bc i am now back to my normal level of poor health, which is so much less bad than it was before Dr. Joe's help. I have never had staff treat me so well and so kindly from the time we entered the door to the outpatient surgical clinic until we left. This review's rating is solely about the billing practices at St David's. The only truly negative, and frankly completely unacceptable, part of my experience has been the St. David's billing department. It is atrocious. I would rate it 0/5 stars and strongly advise anyone to avoid St. David's unless they have absolutely no alternative solely for the billing experience and absolute nightmare that results after your procedure. This is despite the completely excellent surgical staff, nurses, etc., plus my amazing OB/GYN and his team. For the level of care and expertise of the staff, again, EXCELLENT. We were required to pay $900 upfront, yet we have since received at least three additional bills--each one different, each one increasing the total cost to almost double the original amount. The billing team also is very sketchy about requiring this $900 upfront - they claim they won't intake you AT ALL unless you pay for your surgery ahead of time. The bills don't even look like they're from the same organization: different paper, different formatting, and even different account numbers. When we call the surgical center to verify whether these bills are legitimate, the billing staff can't provide answers. They can't explain the charges, they hesitate to provide itemized statements, and they seem completely unaware of why multiple bills are being issued. It is infuriating and exhausting, especially for someone recovering from a fertility-related procedure. Our healthcare system is broken, and St. David's billing department exemplifies that failure. Considering my surgery went exactly as planned, there is absolutely no reason we should have received anything beyond the original bill. This process has been a nightmare, and no patient should have to deal with this.

This clinic clearly does not care about patients. The lack of communication, accountability, and basic professionalism is astounding. Healthcare should be about compassion and responsiveness--here, you'll only find indifference and incompetence. Save yourself the stress and look elsewhere. Austin Diagnostic Clinic has proven to me that they are disorganized, unresponsive, and ultimately dangerous in how little they care about the people who turn to them for help.

Vital Sleep is now the 3rd to fail in terms of office management. Originally Dr. Wang (of Austin Heart) arranged for an at home study. Great. Not so great.. was having to agree to paying upwards of $3,000 for the return of the monitor in working order... "at the sole discretion & judgment of Vital Sleep." I refused to agree to this, as it's entirely too vague. (They tried to debate with me, saying... "Oh, we would never do that." My response... "This is a contract. It's quite clear you can if I sign this. If you won't ever do that, then don't ask for your customer/patient to sign it." So, I cancelled the at-home study, and requested to do an in-house study. That was in June. Since then (over 3 1/2 months), I've waited for Vital Sleep to schedule an in-house study. I never received any other calls from them. Even after discussing this with Dr. Wang's office twice, and after yet another order being sent, Vital Sleep still did not contact me to arrange for an in-house study. Fast forward to the week of Sept 22nd, and I learn from a recording from "Itamar Medical" (a company I've never heard of) that Vital Sleep apparently issued an order for another type of device to be sent to my home. I was out of town at the time, and the device sat on my front porch for nearly a week. This caused me to have to contact Itamar Medical directly and have them research why I was being sent another device, and who ordered it. Now, I have to take more of my personal time to ensure the device is properly returned... the very scenario I wished to avoid. Had anyone from Vital Sleep bothered to contact me, I would have informed them (again) that we're not doing an at-home study, and to not send the device. Meanwhile... I'm having increasingly bothersome, and potentially dangerous symptoms at night. It shouldn't take the better part of a year to have an in-house, professional sleep study performed. To Vital Sleep... take your customer's needs seriously. Sleep Apnea is potentially life-threatening. Get your administrative team in gear - and train your staff to work with customers/patients in a professional manner. To Dr. Wang's office... I'd recommend re-thinking your affiliation with Vital Sleep (as I've already mentioned on the phone 3 times).

I received all the paperwork to fill out online ahead of time, and they called the day before and day of the study to make sure I was all squared away. The sleep tech was very sweet and made sure I knew what was going on the entire time. I got there around 8, and after getting settled in, filling out a few consent forms, and hooking up all the wires I was in bed trying to sleep by 10. The only reason not 5 stars is that the bed was pretty uncomfortable.

I'd heard of the horror and discomfort of mammogram technology (basically a vice that compresses and flattens), but the machines they use don't pinch too badly. I met with Dr Irina Dimitrova for my wellness visit and she was SUPER knowledgeable, calm & kind. I felt very safe and the appointment was super quick and easy. The lady Juliana who drew my blood I didn't even feel the needle go in it was SO impressive and I have extreme needle anxiety! I totally recommend this place it was clean and a nice calm vibe.
