You would think because they are owned by the same company the transfer would had been effortless. You'd be wrong. I basically was treated as a new patient and had to jump through all the same hoops. Ridiculous. I have a four-hour infusion and during that time, I'm not allowed to make a phone call! Seriously? People work and have things they need to take care of. We are not animals you can put in a corner and tell them to be quiet. After being told to get off the phone I had to sit and listen to the nurses laugh and tell stories at the front desk. Also, the nurse required me to wear the BP cuff the whole time I was there because she would need to check my BP. How lazy can you be? So you have to sit with an IV in one arm and a cuff on the other. If you're going to tie me down and restrict me like this, there better be good drugs involved! I heard that the wonderful woman who ran the San Antonio clinic just left. Guess she got tired of the BS too. If you need infusions, do yourself a favor and call Coram Healthcare and get your infusions at home. That's what I'm doing.

If you get there even a second after 5:30 be prepared to wait! Its real nurses and real doctors giving up their free time to help us out so be patient. Not only do they diagnose you but they will also give you free prescriptions right there on site! They will not see you for std screenings or if you are pregnant. I was there a total of 4 hours but I think it was well worth it. I don't have insurance and really appreciate this place.

Unfortunately, I will say as a volunteer, the wait time can get quite hairy, but we definitely try to get everyone in and out as fast as we can. But it will be longer than a typical doctor's office, for sure.

Too many doctors see themselves above human error. My primary doctor had retired and I had to…read moreschedule my annual wellness exam with a new doctor. Dr Harris was taking new patients so I scheduled with a clear understanding that I was coming for an annual wellness exam covered by Medicare. Unfortunately my appointment was during the flooding in the Austin area, with low water crossings closed prior to public road closings were updated. My travel to the clinic took 90 minutes that is typically 50 minutes. I checked in to the front desk 17 minutes late and Dr Harris made the decision to turn me away regardless of the 3 hour round trip I had just made, white knuckling it all the way. Since I didn't know her, I gave her the benefit of the doubt and rescheduled for the following day. Storms still prevailed but I took alternative routes and arrived 20 minutes before my appointment. Upon checkin I was told this annual physical would not be covered by Medicare. And was given a spread sheet that required fasting for the blood test, another request I made in advance to have before the exam, only to be told she doesn't do that with new patients, requiring a followup visit - I'm guessing for additional costs tacked on to the initial visit. She finally showed up to my room 30 minutes after the office visit was scheduled. This was our first introduction and I knew just by her appearance she was not in good physical health based on her obesity. I proceeded to share with her the appointment confusion over an annual wellness exam that clearly is covered by Medicare and the $215 costs now being required not to mention the return for labs. Then I showed her pictures of my previous days travel showing her the closed water crossings from the morning before, and the 17 minute delay. At that moment I was prepared to leave without an exam based on her 30 minute late entry to my 2nd appointment! I'm done with this "God" mentality in the medical industry and how rules apply to clients but not held by the same doctors that set these rules. And one more point...if you are in the medical industry, especially primary care, you should practice and look the part. One of the questions I was going to ask was her knowledge of nutrition, supplements and peptides along with HRT. I got my answer when the fat Dr Harris walked into my room. Do better.

I felt personally violated. So I was very nervous going into my first appointment Dr. Shah. I chose Dr. Shah based on several good reviews that I read online. His bedside manner was as explained in the reviews. Very kind, very patient, very informative, very "gentle." We discussed all of my options. I felt like he really took his time with me. He and I decided on the best next course of action for me to get well. For only the second time in regards to this very painful and potentially dangerous medical condition, I felt HEARD. Specifically, that Dr. Shah understood my trepidation and concerns about upcoming medical procedures. After my initial consult, somehow something got lost.In translation. Dr. Shah did refer me to another specialist; however, it was not as we had discussed in office. Since my initial visit, I have had a subsequent telehealth with Dr. Shah. Once again he addressed all of my questions. And offering telehealth is so incredibly convenient, particularly when mobility and transportation is an issue. Next step is to readdress a new referral and move forward on my medical journey. I feel like I'm in good hands...physically and metaphorically. As far as the clinic, making an appointment was really simple. Everyone at the front desk is super nice and helpful. My in office appointment was right on time. I set in the very crowded waiting room for about five minutes. I was pleasantly surprised. I recommend Dr. Shah for your medical speciality care needs. He manages to make the really not so fun and scary stuff somewhat not as bad. :)

I do not write reviews lightly, but my experience with this practice has been deeply concerning…read more After my MRI on March 31, I was informed on April 8 that the findings carried a high level of concern and that a prostate biopsy was important and time-sensitive. However, the actions and follow-through from this practice reflected the exact opposite sense of urgency. My original biopsy appointment on April 20 was cancelled approximately one hour beforehand due to a related MRI machine issue (problem of transferring the MRI images to the surgery team) which I accepted as an unfortunate but understandable technical problem. What followed afterward was far more troubling: repeated delays, disorganized communication, explanations about difficulties obtaining MRI images and transferring files, and weeks of little to no meaningful follow-up despite multiple calls and messages from me. Five days ago, I contacted the practice again in an effort to connect with the head of administration. Even that proved difficult. The switchboard operator could not provide a name, direct email address, or contact number, and explained that complaints or concerns had to be relayed through the switchboard itself. I once again had to explain the entire situation from the beginning. To her credit, she was among the more sympathetic and caring individuals I encountered and agreed to pass my concerns directly to the urologist. I did hear back from the urologist later that same day, and even he appeared surprised that the biopsy had still not been coordinated. It is now Friday, and since that conversation, I have no record of receiving any calls or follow-up from the practice. What makes this even more disappointing is that this was not my first experience with administrative and communication issues at this practice. I experienced a very similar pattern roughly a year earlier, where repeated follow-up from me was required before I was eventually told it had been "a minor admin issue." Unfortunately, this suggests a recurring operational problem rather than an isolated oversight. What I find most difficult to understand is the contradiction between being told that this matter was serious, while simultaneously experiencing a level of administrative disorganization and lack of communication that felt anything but urgent. Patients dealing with the possibility of cancer should not feel as though they are personally responsible for repeatedly chasing, coordinating, and advancing their own care at every stage of the process. When patients are told that findings are serious and time-sensitive, there should be a corresponding level of communication, organization, follow-through, and compassion from the practice managing that care. This review is written out of genuine disappointment and concern regarding the gap between what patients are told and what they actually experience.

Needed an EKG for surgery clearance and was having the hardest time finding on. Luckily I found…read morethis place, they did an EKG for $20! They specialize in clearance for surgery patients. They can order blood work, write the clearance letter, etc. It was so quick and easy, I called and got in the next day. The only other place I found wanted me to see my PCP dr first then get the EKG and my PCP was booked for 6 months. Yeah not going to work when my surgery is less than 2 weeks away. Anyways, the ladies I met were super sweet, laid back yet super professional and kind. The office was clean and organized. Everything was excellent! I highly recommend them if you need surgical clearance.

I went to St. David Surgical Hospital in Round Rock today for the first time. I was getting an…read moreinjection in my back. I will say, they spared no money in this building. When you walk in to register there is a huge lobby area, very nicely decorated, where you can sit and wait. We found a parking spot out front but if there are none available you can drive around back to the parking garage and both are free. After about a five minute wait, they came to get me and take me back and everything looked very neat and clean in the rooms. I will say that my injection was about 45 minutes late but I think that's more on the doctor than the surgical center. The nurses and the rest of the staff were all very friendly and joked around with me, which makes the experience that much better. Overall, I think that facility is very nice and I would not hesitate to go there again for any type of procedure!

Nurse Patty is amazing! She answers questions and is very patient and thoughtful. Dr. P is wonderful! He is down to earth and takes time to answer questions and make sure that you are comfortable with the treatment plan, but he doesn't take a long time like a lot of doctors that seem to love the sound of their own voices. They set up supply delivery that is on point and has everything that we need. If you are someone that wants wonderful, respectful care, but doesn't have the time or need to drone on about their problems, then this is the place for you.

She said it WAS delivered. 2nd nurse Patty, said 1st nurse gave wrong treatment instructions for 2 weeks. Dr did not seem concerned and said not to worry bout Rx HE initially said was needed asap. Said just watch the wound. Nurse Patty said it's not her problem that messages didn't get thru After she said messages were her responsibility. I hope to never have to go there again.
