They sold us a 2007 Toyota Avalon XLE for over double the private‑party Blue Book value. We were told that we were getting the vehicle far below the Bluebook value, yet another lie told to us by this despicable car salesman. That alone should have been a massive red flag, but we trusted them and believed they were being honest. He hid multiple issues with the car that we only discovered later. We paid $8,000 for a car that was realistically worth around $4,500 in mint condition, and after only 1,400 miles, it completely broke down.
