1 Star - A Heartbreaking and Deeply Dishonest Experience…read more If I could have rated this a negative star review, I would have rated this experience a negative five stars. Our experience with Auto Passion Team has been one of the most painful and financially devastating situations my family has ever gone through. We came to them during a desperate time, hoping to find a reliable vehicle we could trust. Instead, we were taken advantage of in ways that still shock us. They sold us a 2007 Toyota Avalon XLE for over double the private‑party Blue Book value. We were told that we were getting the vehicle far below the Bluebook value, yet another lie told to us by this despicable car salesman. The car salesman pressured my wife from the moment she arrived, even telling her she only had twenty minutes to test‑drive the car. That alone should have been a massive red flag, but we trusted them and believed they were being honest. He hid multiple issues with the car that we only discovered later. We paid $8,000 for a car that was realistically worth around $4,500 in mint condition, and after only 1,400 miles, it completely broke down. We were forced to spend another $2,000 just to get it running again. No family should have to go through that after putting their trust--and their savings--into a dealership. What made everything even more disturbing was what happened afterward. When I called the dealership, the secretary told me that the salesman had been fired because he was "a very bad man," that he had been deceitful, and that he had taken advantage of every single customer he dealt with. Hearing that confirmed everything we feared, but it didn't undo the damage he caused us. This experience left us feeling betrayed, stressed, and financially drained. I would strongly warn anyone considering Auto Passion Team to be extremely cautious. Our family trusted them, and it cost us far more than money--it cost us our peace of mind.

I'm not typically one to write reviews, but these guys have earned every praise. I was in the process of moving back to St. George and was in need of a car. However, I still had some business to take care of before moving to St. George permanently. I was planning on only being gone for a couple of days and then returning. While I was gone they were going to get my paperwork ready so I could just sign and drive when I got back. Well, COVID-19 struck and I got quarantined for 2 weeks before I could travel again. Brandon, in sales, was understanding and took the time to understand the situation. Long story short, they held the car for me until I returned. When I returned, I found out that they had preemptively discovered a small defect in one of the tires and replaced it. But, the tired shop replaced the wrong tire. The owners of Auto Passion Team went ahead and paid for another tire. This alone would be an amazing experience. There's more... I drove off the lot with the car, happy as a clam. Then suddenly not 20 miles down the road the engine began to make terrible noises! I texted Brandon and he set up a time to take the car to a local mechanic the very next day. While the mechanics were diagnosing the problem, the engine completely died. The owners of Auto Passion Team Took complete ownership of the situation and replaced the motor and turbo on my new car at great expense. They did not have to go above and far beyond like they did, but to my gratitude they did! I will never buy a car from anyone else! These guys have earned a customer for life! Give them a call, I promise you won't be disappointed with the service you will receive.

On June 17, 2025, we purchased a 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan SXT from Hurricane Car Lot for over…read more$15,000. At the time of purchase, we pointed out minor rust on the passenger upper rear fender, a noticeable misalignment of the passenger-side door, and unusual noises during the test drive. Sales agent Samantha told us every vehicle is inspected, that the van has a clean Utah title, and that the sale included a limited 30-day warranty, and that Hurricane Car Lot would pay 70% of covered repairs. After purchasing, the transmission fluid was severely overdue for service, so Color Country kept the van to flush and replace the fluid. We also discovered badly damaged engine mounts. After back-and-forth with Hurricane Car Lot and warranty administrator Liberty Shield, Hurricane Car Lot paid 70% of the engine mount replacement; Liberty Shield refused coverage, and we cancelled that plan and received a refund. Because payment and authorizations were delayed, Color Country kept the van longer than expected,d and we missed planned family events (July 4). Over the next few months, we returned to Color Country multiple times. AutoCheck shows severe frame damage dated January 27, 2025--less than five months before our purchase. Color Country's inspections and repairs indicate that the frame damage was never properly repaired, which likely caused the engine mount failures. To date, we have paid $1,741 in repairs (transmission fluid service, remaining engine-mount costs, AC recharge, and other items). On April 3, 2026, Jiffy Lube in Hurricane told us the plastic oil housing needed a metal replacement (~$1,200 with labor) and reported there was no transmission fluid. That same day, Color Country tested the transmission fluid in neutral and found it acceptable, but the fluid smelled burnt -- a sign the transmission is severely damaged and likely needs repair or replacement, which will cost $3,500+. That smell indicates the transmission was neglected before our purchase and was not properly inspected. On April 4, 2026, at about 8:45 PM, while stopped at a red light at Telegraph Road and 500 West in Washington City, UT, the van stalled when I accelerated. My youngest child was with me; I moved her to the sidewalk for safety. After several minutes, the engine restarted long enough to pull over near Walmart. The Washington City Police dispatch was contacted. Because Color Country was closed and we did not have their after-hours contact, we had the van towed by SG3 Towing and Recovery through our insurance. Everything is documented from purchase through these incidents. We consider this van unsafe, unreliable, and misrepresented. On April 6, 2026, we sent Hurricane Car Lot a letter of rescission. We have received no response. We have consulted our attorneys and my father, a master mechanic with 50+ years' experience. Next step: proceed with serving legal papers. We expect Hurricane Car Lot to resolve this matter promptly.
